I am trying to create a podcast and submitting it to itunes...

... My rss feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/Sweetandsoursavagehour. I keep getting a message saying that there are no episodes, but there is. Is the problem with the format or the host? Or neither? What gives?

.swf files cannot be iTunes podcasts. iTunes only let a few file types become podcasts, such as mp3. Convert the file to an iTunes compatible format and then retry.

  • HT201177 I am trying to create home movies and each time there is no sound when I play back the disc. The sound is there when I play back in imovie and also after I've shared with idvd and played back. Not sure what else to do???

    I am trying to create home movies, and do not have sound on the final disc. The sound is there in imovie and after sharing to idvd. This has only happened a couple of times before and I have made a lot of movies. I have just gone through about 8 discs, all with no audio when I play them!!!

    You need to ask for support in the iMovie forum.

  • Trying to create an image and save it on file system

    Hi,
    I'm trying to create an image and save it in the file system :
         public static void main(String[] args) {
         int wid = 632;
         int hgt = 864;
         BufferedImage bufferedImage = new BufferedImage(wid,hgt,BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
         bufferedImage.getGraphics().setColor(Color.black);
         bufferedImage.getGraphics().drawOval(30, 30, 100, 100);
              bufferedImage.getGraphics().drawString("test me one two three",2,2);
              bufferedImage.flush();
    try {
                   ImageIO.write(bufferedImage,".bmp",new File("C:/MyImage.bmp"));
         } catch (IOException e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();
    THE PROBLEM : It creates C:/MyImage.bmp on my file system, but the file is empty (size 0).
    Am I missing something ?
    Thanks

    Try changing ".bmp" to "bmp". If that fails, try posting an SSCCE.

  • BUG! iphoto stalls when trying to create a book and no event is selected

    however, works fine when trying to create a book and an event or an album is selected... obviously a bug.

    Solution - do not do that
    and report to Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback
    But it is likely that updates for '09 are over since it is a couple of years old and '11 is out

  • Trying to create new user and getting remote procedure call error

    I'm trying to create a new user on my windows 8.1 machine but it's not letting me.
    If i open control panel and go to user accounts there's not even an option to add a new user. It's like it's missing, there si a blank space where the link should be. I can change my current account type, and manage another account (though that takes me
    to the list of accoutns which shows mine and the guest, but no option to add a new one) or change user account control settings.
    If i open the run menu and type "users" there is a program that shows up labeled "add, delete and manage other user accoutns" but if I click that a dialog pops up with the following message
    I've run sfc /scannow and it says there are corrupt files but that it couldnt repair them and logged them in the CBS.log

    OK I tried to run sfc /scannow again, and it said files needed to be fixed on a reboot. I rebooted and I can now create user accounts. So never mind, folks!

  • Itunes/quicktime crashes when trying to play video podcasts and 3GP files

    Hello all,
    I've searched these forums and didn't see anything that might help me, so if know of any solutions posted already, please let me know. I have an HP laptop(AMD Turion 64 X2 2.0 GB processor, 2 GB or RAM) running Windows Vista Home Premium. I used to be able to play 3GP files at one time with Quicktime, but now I cannot. Then, the other day I tried to play a video podcast and it starts to play, then says, "Itunes has stopped working". Quicktime does the same thing with 3GP files. This was before my update to Itunes 8.0. It happpened with Itunes 7.5.11.1 or whatever the last version was. It obviously does the same thing with Itunes 8. I've tried completely uninstalling Itunes and quicktime, then reinstalling them both and I still have the same problem. Just a note: I tried playing the video podcast via Windows Media Playey, and it worked fine, except for no audio(I don't think WMP has AAC support) so I think something is conflicting between Itunes and my computer. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    Do you have any better luck with that if you update to iTunes 10.6.1.7?
    From the notes for the release:
    iTunes 10.6.1 provides a number of improvements, including:
    • Fixes several issues that may cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit while playing videos, changing artwork size in Grid view and syncing photos to devices.
    • Addresses an issue where some iTunes interface elements are incorrectly described by VoiceOver and WindowEyes.
    • Fixes a problem where iTunes may become unresponsive while syncing iPod nano or iPod shuffle.
    • Resolves an ordering problem while browsing TV episodes in your iTunes library on Apple TV.

  • Trying to create a book and have sorted 900 photos in manual order...the book application resorts my photos and i have to search 900 photos each time. how can i set the sorting

    trying to create an Aperture book and have sorted 900 photos in manual order...the book application resorts my photos and i have to search 900 photos each time to place a photo. how can i set the sorting to stay in my manual setup?

    1.  If you manually sort Images in a Project, and then create a new Book w. "Include selected Images" checked, your manual sort order will be preserved.
    2.  As a workaround for when you have already created a Book, batch rename your Images with a leading index or counter after setting the order manually.  You'll have to create a Naming Preset, e.g.: "{Index}_{Version Name}".  The renaming should go in the order that you selected the Images, so be sure to select the first one first, and then use "Edit→Select all" to extend the selection to all Images.  Once the Images are in your Book, a sort on Version Name should be the same as the manual sort you created.
    3.  At the risk of stating the obvious, you could create the Book, import the Images, and then sort them.  The Book -- it is, to Aperture, just a special kind of Album -- retains its own manual sort order.  I recommend using Albums this way.  Use Projects to cull and develop Images, and use Albums for output.  Sorting for a Book (or any output) is better done in the container devoted to that output (and not in the Project, which is more general).

    This has been fixed in the RI head. Hopefully we'll be able to get a 1.2_04 out shortly.
    Please download a nightly from the RI project site and give that a shot.

  • Trying to create an extrusion and all it does is open preferences.

    Hi, I'm trying to create a new 3d extrusion.  No idea why I'm failing, but I am. I can create a postcard, a volume, and everything else, but when I try to make a 3d extrusion, it just opens preferences. Can be followed up by the tweet I sent. CrIsH Briggsy on Twitter: "@AdobeCare It just opens preferences. I can make a postcard, I can do EVERYTHING ELSE, but wh…

  • When i click on itunes on my ipad2 i get the error ..'cannot connect to itunes store'...i'm able to access podcasts and itunesU but not itunes store. This is very strange as i can access app's store

    when i click on itunes on my ipad2 i get the error ..'cannot connect to itunes'...I'm able to access podcasts and itunes U but not itunes store..my apps store and safari are also working perfectly but don't know whats the issue with i tunes store...i use an airtel broadband connection through a wifi router..pls help

    I was having this problem. The settings on my wireless router was set to hide my IP address so it wouldn't connect. When I changed that, I connected no problem. While this is annoying since I don't want my IP address to be out there, I just switch my router when I need to connect to the App/iTunes Store. Hope this helps. It worked for me.

  • I have an iphone 3GS and I tried to upgrade the software, After it finished I tried to restore from backup and even though the itunes says there was a backup, After trying it comes up with error there was no backup to retrieve from. Can I get it back

  • I am trying to create a folder and save it onto my desktop but apparently I do not have permission to do so. How can I change this?

    I am trying to figure out how to create a folder on my desktop. For some reason, my desktop folder is no longer available and whenever I try to set one up, an alert states that I do not have permission to create one. I don't know what to do.

    I think you need to repair user directory permissions.  Follow these instructions:
