I am tring to create a slideshow in Elements 10 Organiser, however the is no "slideshow" tab to select in the create options list, can anybody help please?

Can you restore your iPhoto Library from a backup version, that was created before you added the slideshow?
If not, have you tried to rebuild the slideshow with iPhoto Library Manager?

programme where you determine photos/video to be included gaps between
slides, music to play etc This goes through each phot and when comes

Have you looked at Delete and Close Gap as well as Delete for what you describe?
Nonetheless, adding or moving clips to an existing Timeline content without disturbing the existing Timeline content can be challenging and complex under certain scenarios.
Typical solutions include making these moves with a keyboard modified held down (Windows Alt or Ctr). I am strictly an Elements Windows user, so we will need to find the Mac counterparts for the Windows keyboard modifier techniques.
Also, if one move triggers a multi-chain disaster, then you should consider grouping block of clips so that they do not move while you are busy with your Timeline maneuvers. Check out the Clip Menu options for Group and Ungroup.
Some times in the "Mac condition", you need to use fn in addition to the command to achieve some of these Windows counterparts.

It is demo'd with Premiere Elements 8, but the principles are the same for later versions of the program.

Trying to create a Slideshow with redirect

I have several images I would like to rotate similar to a
slideshow. I was trying to hunt down a script that would have each
image in the rotation redirect the user to another page within the
site. An alternative was to have the redirect go to just one page
regardless of what image was clicked. Does anyone know of any
script which would easily accomplish this?

Trying to create a slideshow from a current album in iPhoto 11, but it tells me "the photos you selected were downloaded from your published albums. U can only view these photos. To use them u must import them" What do I do? I have already imported them.

If i already imported the pictures from my cameras SD card and placed them into an album why is it not letting me make a slide show with these pictures.

Give this a try: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.

I'm on an iPad running ios 7.0.4. Does anyone know how can I create a slideshow in iPhoto of an entire album without having to click on each individual photo? (My album has hundreds of photos..) I am trying to create a slideshow on DVD for a
client. His business is a small newspaper. For an
upcoming tradeshow, he wants to have a large display
with a slideshow of each page of the paper scrolling
across the screen, flipping to the next page, etc. I
figured iPhoto would be an excellent tool to do it
without much labor, using the Ken Burns effect to pan
the full length of each page. It works perfectly on
my Mac display and looks great.
Even the exported video looks OK when I preview it in
iDVD.
However, once it goes to DVD, the visual quality is
worthless. I expected serious degradation of text
quality since it is only 720 pixels wide. The text
isn't as sharp, but it is readable.
The big problem is that as it scrolls, it looks like
the the images pass behind a grid of prisms that
refract everything. The disruptive lines are about
1/4 inch apart, so the whole TV screen is a mess,
it's impossible to watch. At first I thought it may
be an issue with the scan rate of the TV, but the
same thing happens when I play the DVD back on my
notebook PC and my Mac.
I set the iDVD preview window and the DVD Player
window side by side and played them together. The
iDVD preview was fine, the DVD player window gives me
a headache.
What can be causing this, and is there any way to
change a setting in iPhoto or iDVD to prevent it?
What resolution are you using for the slides? I have done several DVDs with slide shows as an option (training DVDs) and it's always worked well. I am using PNG and JPEG files with at least 150dpi resolution. I've even used Contrictor to snap screen shots of some PDF files with good results. I am using a 17" screen so again, I'm getting as much resolution as I can before I stick them into the DVD slide show.

No. The videos will play for their entire length. Try trimming the video in iPhoto by playing it and use the gear icon to bring up the Trip feature:
You'll get this window where you can select the portion of the video to use:
When you're done you can "revert to original" like this:
That may give you what you need for the slideshow.

Creating a slideshow with 500+ photos

I am trying to create a slideshow that will run continuously with over 500 photos and burn it to a DVD. Is there any way to do this in iDVD? I want to be able to use the titles of the photos also. I tried doing it in iMovie, but when I added a title to the photo, it did not keep the title on the photo for the entire time. It split the photo into 2 parts, with the title and without.

I put all of the photos into iMovie, added a title to each photo using the "Music Video" title and it split the photo. I tried to edit it and make it last the lenght of the clip and everything got completely messed up. Only parts of the title would show up on some, a photo would just flash in-between regular photos, and many other errors.
Is there any way for me to do the same in iDVD? I know it limits the number of photos to 99 per slideshow, but can I make them run continuously?

I tried what you said and was able to import my movie into iDVD although I still had trouble writing the DVD (4 more times) as the titles page viewed with the wrong buttons and the sound was out of synch with the movie.
I tried once again from within iMovie and clicked the 'proceed' button instead of 'render and proceed' and this seemed to work okay.
I then went on to create the DVD which worked fantastic.

I created a slideshow in Elements 13 and tried to create a DVD of it. When it went to import to Premier Elements, I got an error message that the file couldn't be imported because I lacked the required codec . I am working on an iMac 14, OS X 10.9.5. How do I find/download the "missing" codec (I purchased this bundle specifically in order to do this!!)?
