I am trying to deploy the Creative Cloud

I found this thread while researching physical CD installs of Adobe CS vs. a Creative Cloud install.
I have a work machine where volume licensed CS software was installed. (master collection via CD)
I later downloaded the Adobe Application Manager for use with Creative Cloud when I was given a complimentary membership @ MAX 2011.
My question is, when the AAM reads "up to date" for individual software titles, has it automatically deployed all of the exclusive "Creative Cloud" only extras for those individual software titles if they were previously installed via CD?
I think I have received the appropriate Creative Cloud updates to software that was installed via CD through a volume license, but wanted to see if it is necessary to uninstall these previously installed titles in order to get the Creative Cloud exclusive updates for them.
Any advice or insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Any ideas on who can answer this question? Seems like there would be more known about it, as it could apply to both volume licensed folks and those who have installed regular licensed products via CD/DVD.
When approaching our reseller about the issue, they did not know either.
A good recommendation could be to include this on the FAQ page for Creative Cloud installation(s) when an answer is provided.
Let me know if there's anyone I need to reach out to for more help.

I get an error when I try to start creative cloud that asks me to update. I download the updated installer and run it. I then get an error that says:
Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of Creative Cloud from 'http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp'.
Following the message is two buttons. Quit and Get Creative Cloud. If I follow these directions I will sit here all day just downloading and trying to install Creative Cloud only to find out that I have a problem for which I need to download and install Creative Cloud. This would be like the person who uses a whole bottle of shampoo every time they get in the shower just because is says lather rinse repeat. Can you break this endless loop for me?Ado Bee in the future please only migrate documents and settings. Adobe applications are not designed to be copied from one computer to another.
You may still be able to recover by completing the following steps:
Run all available uninstallers in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder

It says there seems to be a problem accessing a critical file/directory during download. Error code 204...has anyone else had this problem?

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details. "See title" and providing generic and limited information is simply inadequate/ inappropriate.

Chat sessions with two different support techs, and Error 204 still prevents my CC update install.
Meanwhile my boss is paying for CC while I continue to use CS4.
I know I'll have to go back to Adobe support, but I'm hoping someone will find a solution and post it in the forum. -
Can't download cc apps. They won't show up on the creative cloud app.
After several problems trying to install the Creative cloud app I finally got it to install after booting into safe mode. Now that CC is installed when I click on the tabs application tab it doesn't work. I also tried downloading it from the website which just prompts the creative cloud app and then it keeps loading on the application tab.

I am trying to download the Creative Cloud with Photoshop and Lightroom. It doesn't load and I actually let it run all night and it still didn't load. I uninstalled Creative Cloud and tried again. What am I doing wrong? Could it be that I am using wireless?

Why will the creative cloud not load or show up in the apps folder?
I tried to download the Creative Cloud for Desktop. It loaded up and then when I tried to go to the home or apps tab it would continue loading but never finish. After trying to connect it to the menu bar it just closed. I've tried uninstalling it multiple times and reinstalling it, but it installs differently each time with those consistent problems.
Is that not a way to relocate the files? In other words, I have 16,000 plus songs in iTunes and they are all playable. They must be on my external hard drive in the file I have named "Art's Music" (verified by the check you suggested in your first reply). Let's assume that I want to put them all on a different external hard drive (my C drive is not big enough). What steps should I use to relocate my entire library? The plan I had in mind was something I found at http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301748

I am going to borrow a friend's unused hard drive for this and then put it back on my hard drve after I reformat it.

Issue while subscribe the Creative Cloud!
Every time I'm trying to subscribe the Creative Cloud complete subscription, i get a message that CC is not available in my "country (China)". But in fact, I am living in Germany. So i really don't know why adobe thinks i am in China! In my account is the right country deposited. Anyone an idea? Thx
Unfortunately, the country registered with you Email ID is China, you can get it rectified by following :
Change the country associated with your Adobe ID
