If you are downloading multiple apps then they will download one at a time. If it's just the one app that you are downloading (and you're using wifi if it's over the 20 meg limit for 3G), then try a reset and see if it resumes loading after the iPad has restarted : ress and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

?I'm trying to download a free app and I keep getting a message that says; "Payment Type paypal is not supported on this device blah blah go to the iTunes Store on your computer. You must verify your payment info before you can make purchases. I did all that, updated payment info and checked paypal it is verified, and it still won't work. Im stumped

Click on Setting, go to Store and click on it then change the Apple ID to your ID. you should be prompted for your password and then you should be good to go to download apps.

Are you saying that iTunes needs your credit card number to be able to download the app? If so you can give your credit card number to iTunes/Apple.
If you don't want to submit a credit card (number), here is how to download the app without a credit card.

So i bought my bf the ipad mini. Im out of the country and he wants to download Skype to talk to me. Well when he tried to download it, it is saying that he has to pay for it. Those are fee apps, should not be actually charged. Are you sure is not being asked to verify he's the actual account holder by adding billing info to the account? Even though your're not getting billled, the account holder identity still has to be verified.

I have a new Iphone 5, my wife has a 4S and an iPod Touch. When I sync my new 5 to the Mac, it pick up ALL of the stupid game apps that my wife uses on her two devices. How can I keep them separate?
go to itunes preferences, store, uncheck automatic downloads. also when your phone is connected you can click on apps and only check the ones you want on your phone, go down to the bottom right and click apply.

Upgrading the OS does not remove your apps and purchases. -
I have an ipod touch. I am trying to download the newest upgrade and when I do I get the same message that to do so will mean all my old inof (songs, games, apps) will be erased!? Anyone else experience this problem?
If all the synced media (such as app and music) or in your iTunes library, and if you have a backup. Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check, the restore the iPod from that backup. The restore will also update the iPod.
