I am trying to download an imovie using 1dvd. the program keeps cutting off part of the video. How can I get my whole slideshow onto a dvd R so I can show to my class on Monday?

The program is doing great on computer but cutting the slideshow in half on the dvd.

Right, so to advise you we'd need to know the particulars of MagCloud's spec for your project; format, trim size, bleed, etc.
It's doubtful that anything happened "when uploading for printing," so long as you were uploading a PDF, as opposed to the native InDesign file. Did the PDF look right to you before uploading?

Have you transferred photos from your computer to your iPhone which is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?
If so, you can place this video in the folder of photos on your computer that is selected to be transferred to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select Include Videos.

Is there a way to block Firefox from closing while files are downloading? I don't want to accidentally quit the program and cut off current downloads.

Basically, I was downloading a game from Game Agent and I accidentally quit Firefox. This stopped the download and I was not allowed to resume it, forcing me to spend $30 to buy the same game AGAIN to get a new download file. Is there a way to add a warning box to Firefox that says something like: "Are you sure you want to quit Firefox? Files are downloading" when I try to quit?

iDVD - don't care about GBs - ONLY - Time = Movie + Menus - as follows
iDVD 08, 09 & 11 has three levels of qualities. (version 7.0.1, 7,0.4 & 7.1.1) and iDVD 6 has the two last ones
• Professional Quality
(movies + menus up to 120 min.) - BEST (but not always for short movies e.g. up to 45 minutes in total)
• Best Performances
(movies + menus less than 60 min.) - High quality on final DVD (Can be best for short movies)
• High Quality (in iDVD08 or 09) / Best Quality (in iDVD6)
(movies + menus up to 120 min.) - slightly lower quality than above
Menu can take 15 minutes or even more - I use a very simple one with no audio or animation like ”Brushed Metal” in old Themes.
About double on DL DVDs.
If You NEED to put in more than 120 minutes onto a SL DVD - Then I would use Roxio Toast™ as this can squees in between 7 to 10 hours onto this - BUT AT A BARELY USABLY QUALITY.
VHS tapes recorded in EP- mode will look brilliant in comparision

SP = 240 minutes on a standard VHS tape
LP = 480 minutes
EP = 720 or more ?

I am having the same problem which has happened very infrequently before. Generally it's one photo and happened when my battery died.
However today I tried to download six photos.
None would download including several others for a total of 21 that would not download.
Since I had just installed a new powered hub and added three new external 4T hard drives, I got concerned that it was the hub. Then got really worried that I'd have problems with the data I have been backing up.
However following this sequence of events, I've determined it's not the hub, but still don't know what is causing the problem.
(1) Put a fresh battery in the camera - same results
(1.5) Used a different port in the new hub - same results
(2) Put the card in the card slot in the back of my iMac - no problems except that one image I knew about last week. The six new images imported.
(3) Tried again using the cable - still same error
(4) Changed cables - my husband has the same camera - still same error
(4) Put the card in his camera with his cable - still same error
(5) Put the card in a card reader and used the same slot in the new hub - no problems - same one wouldn't import but message that there are no new photos to import.
(6) Moved the offending one image to the Trash while the card was in the card reader
(7) Put the card back into my camera and used my cable. iPhoto had no error and displayed the message there are no new photos.
Conclusion:
Not the camera
Not the cable
Not the hub
Must remove bad photo from the card
However, I have not had to do that before. I went through several imports on vacation when there was one bad image and just ignored it each time.
Any idea why this is happening now?

There was a glitch obviously. I recommend a restart. While the phone is powered on, hold the power and home button. Keep them held down while the phone powers down and starts back up don't release till you see the apple logo.

I'm using imovie 8.0.6. The timestamp is always off by length of video. Any ideas how to fix?

My job requires a correct timestamp. However the timestamp in imovie does not match that off my Sony DCR-SX45. For example: If I start filming at 10:00 and film for 5 minutes it should show up in imovie as a video clip that runs from 10:00 - 10:05. However, after it's imported imovie shows a start time of 10:05. This means it ends up indicating that the video runs from 10:05 - 10:10. Some of my videos can be almost an hour in length and this is a major issue. The timing is always off by whatever the length of video happens to be. Aside from manually fixing this for each and every video clip are there any ways to fix this? I have tried other cameras such as Canon and this creates a different issue regarding timestamp and seems to be related to time zones. Oddly enough the minutes are correct, but the hours are way off. Even though I am in the Atlantic time zone I have to set up the system as though I was in Portugal. My main concern, at this time, is trying to fix the issue with my Sony. Is there a setting that I can fix that will make the imported videos have a timestamp that actually starts at the moment that the camera began recording? Any help whould be greatly appreciated.

The first time that you posted, you described your problem. The next post after that is #1 and so on.
The Adobe Flash Player forum works very much like email except there are a lot of "threads". A thread is what each message you see is called. Everyone that registers can start their own thread (subject). Then other people see it and can post to your thread and try to help you with your problem.
You did pretty good, you registered, and you started your first thread
Now do you feel somewhat more relaxed? Hope so.
Take a look now and see if you can find the Post# and etc that I described above.
