I am trying to download the 30 day free trial of lightroom

I'm trying to download the 30 day free trail of lightroom & photoshop before I purchase it.  I can't seem to get it to download.  I am not using Mac or Windows, I am using a Samsung Chromebook.  Any help for  downloading these to my Chromebook will be appreciated.

The simple answer is: No. There is no version for Chrome OS since it's a Linux derivative.

Because Photoshop CC requires Windows 7 or above...

download the cc desktop app to your desktop and install from there, Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial
then install ps using the cc desktop app.

  • When trying to download the illustrator free trial, is said my mac was running on an operating system that the program does not support. What does this mean and how do I change it?

I'll admit, I'm not good with computers but it seems that it should be simple to download illustrator without any problems. I don't know what operating system my mac is and apparently adobe doesn't have people to call for help so I'm trying to ask here.

Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner and choose "About this Mac" Doesn't change anything, though. Unless you update your OSX, the programs simply won't install. the warning really means what it says...

I'm TRYING to try the 30 free trial of Aperture. It downloads fine, but the promised email with serial number (needed to activate) never arrives.  I've double checked email address.  Anyone have a solution?

This has been reported numerous times in the past. It seesms that from time-to-time the response system responsible for sending the key goes away.
Take a look at the More Like This box on the right hand side of this page. Some users have had success getting the key sent in various ways.

  • Unable to access PDF files after downloading 30-day free trial for ExportPDF

    Hello,
Please accept my apology if I have landed on a page that may or may not offer what I do hope, someone might be able to provide a successful solution which will enable me to access a program I downloaded earlier today, Export PDF, offered by Adobe’s website based on a 30-day free trial.
Prior to landing on this page, I tried numerous other venues through their websites, starting even from the original beginning instructions, only to end up in a forum I assume must exist for the purpose in finding an answer I cannot seem to locate.
Had I not spent the amount of time and effort (and desire) in opting to try out this program prior to committing to and purchasing it, I would not bother with seeking a solution.
Following the online instructions to download the specified free trial period, I signed up with all requested information including -- a unique username, password, email address, followed by the process of verifying the given email address, which ultimately displayed a notification window indicating a completed successful installation.
Hoping to export a PDF file I had accessed earlier in the day, when I opened the file a screen I had never seen before popped up. Briefly grayed out (basically blank), a warning message appeared stating that sign in was required by the Adobe member then proceeded by reading The User Terms, which must be agreed to and accepted before access to any documents would be allowed.
Both of these required steps were followed and completed during and after the download and installation process. At the top right hand corner of this page, next to "Welcome, ____________ (my user name)" and the option ( Sign out ), I find it ironic that something I never would have thought to be the difficult and frustrating process it has become, to ultimately be left with one option other than 'Sign out' and that was to click on 'Help' -- which opened the page I am currently on.
So if anyone is willing to entertain this odd dilemma, I offer my genuine appreciation for your time and solution, should one exist. Otherwise, I’ll just (sarcastically) chalk it up to one of those days spent with technology that leaves me wondering why I bothered in the first place.
Again, many thanks for any input and suggestions.

    Hi Robyn Renee\'Drake
    I'm a bit confused about what service/software you've installed.
There is no trial of the ExportPDF service (and, it's not something that you install; instead, you access if via a website). Perhaps you downloaded the free Adobe Reader, installed that, and then signed up for ExportPDF through Adobe Reader?
Can you try going to http://exportpdf.acrobat.com and try to sign in there with your username and password? If you're able to log in there, you have a subscription to ExportPDF.
Please let me know how it goes, and we can take it from there.
    Best,
    Sara

I have just upgraded from Lightroom 5 standalone to Lightroom 6 standalone. I appear to have been automatically enrolled for a 30 day free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. Reading the FAQ, it appears that after the expiry of the free trial, if I do not sign up and pay, I will only be able to view my pictures on the desktop but not edit them - surely this cannot be true. How do I un-enroll for the 30 day free trial of Lightroom Mobile and CC?

When I was signed into Adobe (which was a requirement for installing the upgrade), Lightroom 6 told my at the top right corner that I had 30 days left of my free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. In parallel with this forum posting, I am chatting with Adobe support. he is away to find out how to prevent any synching with Creative Cloud during the 30 day free trial. I do not think that Creative Cloud is an application that gets installed on your PC. I think Lightroom 6 has it built in, and can use it if if you are signed up to the Creative Cloud and Lightroom Mobile (which I am for 30 days)

  • Okay, I just bought a month to month membership. I had tried a 30 day free trial of lightroom before buying this membership, now, after purchasing the membership, it says STILL my "Free trial expired, click to Buy" What do I do so I can use Lightroom now?

Uninstall the free trial. Your catalog and images will be safe.
Then launch Creative Cloud Desktop. Choose the Apps tab, scroll down to Lightroom and click the button marked Install.

  • I'm having trouble downloading the PhotoShopC6 free trial.

I downloaded the creative cloud app and installed "Photoshop CC", but that is it. I cannot open the program as the only option is "view tutorials". I went to the download center and tried to download from the browser but it just opens the cloud after I click download. Where do I find the actual Photoshop files?

You start the programs like any other program - from the start menu/ launchpad or the applications folder, not from within the CC app.

  • Tried to download the PSE 9 trial.

I tried to down load the new PSE 9 trial version.  I have PSE 8 on two computers but want to put this on my 3rd one.  It will not let me. I have all the pop up blockers and virus program turned off.  Can any one help me?
    Carole

Before installing PSE9 you must first click the yellow install now button to extract the compressed application files.
I have a fast connection but it still took me over 30 minutes to complete the downloads from Adobes busy servers. The Akamai Download Manager allows you to pause and re-start download whenever you need.
N.B. It won’t work with some browsers such as Google Chrome. It’s recommended you use Internet Explorer 7 or 8; or Firefox 2 or 3 on Windows.
    On Mac OS X 10.5 - 10.6 use Firefox 2 or 3; or Safari 5.

  • I have downloaded the PS free trial today, and it has already ended immediately, help?

I have downloaded it for the first time today, and when I opened it, it said that the trial has ended.

Can you check what version you are running?  If you are able to open Photoshop, go Help, About Photoshop.  If it does not say 14.2.1 then you need to update it.
Same thing with the Desktop Application manager which is currently at 1.5.1.369  (click on the cog icon > Preferences > Account)
If the Desktop Application manager thinks Photoshop is up to date and it isn't, quite and sign back in again.
Make those checks, and if still in trouble, come back and tell us what operating system you are using.
