java.io.FileNotFoundException: /tmp/liferay/com/liferay/portal/deploy/dependencies/liferay-theme.tld (Too many open files)
I'm not across what the EBS recommended setting for this is, or if there is one.  But try running:
ulimit -n
... and if the number is low, edit /etc/security/limits.conf , add some entries for increased "soft nofile" and "hard nofile" and run sysctl -p.  See Linux & Java tips: Too many open files .

  • Dotted line around image frame in active state mode.

    In my active state, I have the button set to open in a new window once it's clicked on, which it does. But when I go back to the page, there is a dotted line around the image frame that doesn't go away. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi
    I believe you are using Firefox to view the site, as this occurs only on firefox.
    This is a known issue on their end as the selection for page object remains when we return to page.
    The details can be found on this link :
    https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Page_Inspector
    where it is mentioned that they would be taking this off from Firefox 29 onwards.
    From Muse we cannot control this as its a browser specific selector function.

  • Draw a dotted line

    Hello! Is it possible to draw a dotted line in PSE 8 Mac? If so, can I choose the thickness of the line and the space between the lines?
    Thanks,

    I don't know of an action that  will do it, but a manual configuration is easy.
    In Editor, go to Edit>Preferences>Guide and Grids, and configure the grid to your specs. Go to View>Grid -check that,  and also Snap to grid
    Access the line tool under the shape selection tool. At the top you can enter the weight in pixels (thickness). Hold down the shift key as you drag out the line.
    The grid is your guide. Interruptions of the line require manual input.

  • No dotted line around wrapper

    I'm on only the 7th step of part II of "creating your first website" and already I've ran into problems. My wrapper has a solid line around it instead of a dotted line around the placeholder text. Afraid this will cause problems down the road even if I can still delete and put in the proper text. Using DW 2014 with PC. Need to find out quick so I can decide if this product is for me. Code below.
    Thanks,
    Howard
    <!doctype html>
    <html>

    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="wrapper">Content for  id "wrapper" Goes Here</div>
    </body>

    Duh!! That did it. Jeez, I was going nuts trying to figure that out.
    Many Thanks,

  • When browsing a new library that I created, the browser shows dotted lines around grey rectangles, no images. When I double click on a rectangle the image appears. How do I get images to appear in the browser rectangles?

    When browsing a new library that I created and exported onto an external hard drive, the browser shows dotted lines around grey rectangles, no images. When I double click on a rectangle, the image appears, but all the other rectangles remain empty - no image. How do I get images to appear in the browser rectangles? I am viewing this on a second computer (an older intel duo iMac), not the one I created the library on (a MacBook Pro). Both computers have Aperture 3.2.4 installed. When I return the external to the MacBook, all images appear in browser rectangles. What's happening on the iMac?

    You may have a problem with the permissions on your external volume. Probably you are not the owner of your library on the second mac.
    If you have not already done so, set the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag on your external volume. To do this, select the volume in the Finder and use the Finder command "File > Get Info" (or ⌘I).
    In the "Get Info" panel disclose the "Sharing & Permissions" brick, open the padlock, and enable the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag. You will have to authentificate as administrator to do this.
    Then run the "Aperture Library First Aid Tools" on this library and repair the permissions. To launch the "First Aid Tools" hold down the ⌥⌘-key combination while you double click your Aperture Library. Select "Repair Permissions" and run the repair; then repeat with "Repair Database". Do this on the omputer where you created the library and where you can see the thumbnails.
    Then check, if you now are able to read the library properly on your iMac.

  • Remove the dotted line in the image map

    dear all, i would want to know how to remove the dotted line
    of the image map, for my case, i cannot see the dotted line in IE
    but can see the line in firefox, (in my boss computer, he can see
    the dotted line in both IE and firefox)
    i have try some method such as using the component of
    Remove
    IE Link Scrubber by PVII. while i find it is not work. could
    any one give some suggestion for me to remove the dotted link of
    the image map or give me some ways that other than using map.
    thx a lot !!!!!!!!

    i have find a way to solve the problem of the dotted line in
    the image map
    e.g. <map name="123" >
    <area style="cursor: hand" shape="circle"
    coords="223,261,76"
    onClick="checkit('m_strategic/m_strategic.cfm')"></map>
    the checkit() method is just to redirect the page into other
    page only.
    however another problem is face, the cursor will not change
    to hand when i point to the image map, i have try adding
    onMouseMove="this.style.cursor=hand" on the <area> tag
    however it don;t work, it only work when i put into the <img>
    tag. can any one tell me how to change the mouse cursor in this
    situtation??
    thx a lot

  • Whats the easiest way to put a thin line around an image?

    Can anyone tell me the easiest way to put a thin line around
    an image? I'm also interested in the use of thin lines as part of

    Thanks

    >In Dreamweaver, you can set a border for each image but
    be aware that some
    >versions of some browsers may not display it.
    This shouldn't be an issue in any used browser today.
    >If it is a consistent look you're
    >after, I'd say the most permanent thing to do would be to
    edit the image in
    >Photoshop or Fireworks. In Photoshop, e.g, I'd create a
    background fill with
    >the color I wanted the border, then add the image,
    centered, in a new layer on
    >top of that. Merge the layers, then save optimized for
    the web.
    Way too complicated. If you want to change the color or style
    of the
    border, you have to modify the image. With CSS you can
    directly change
    the line style in a much easier and faster way.

  • The logos on some of my bookmarks are now blank squares witha dotted line around them

    I updated Firefox and now the logos on some of my bookmarks and tabs are blank, dotted line squares.

    If you go to the site, do they actually have a favicon, or did you create them in you bookmarks with the help of an extension because you didn't like non descriptive bookmark icons and folder icons.
    Did you lose them in the bookmarks sidebar("Ctrl+B")
    On the toolbar for the Bookmarks toolbar, I display only text and try to key most of them to 1-2 letters (or 1 non-letter character) for those that appear directly on the toolbar. Most are in folders there.

    I had just answered this elsewhere 1/2 hour ago but couldn't find it.
    The was another answer there that suggested to Restart Firefox, good but you had them for a long time so I hadn't mentioned it.
    You basically have to use them again sometimes, but I've not seen them disappear. Since they are stored both as a bitmap and reference to the web page favicon it seems that they would not be deleted.
    I don't really have total recall that I could remember exact working and retype consistently -- but I do have and extension to help me when this site drops what I typed if I go to another page using same tab and come back. I could have searched on content or title (or mess it up again trying and restore like I just did again for the second time).

  • IPhoto 11 dotted line thumbnails, no image

    Events and albums have dotted lines and do not display when cursor drags across thumbnail. Open events albums to full screen and photos visible. I had upgraded to iPhoto 11, but problem was not immediate. How to fix AND what caused it so can prevent recurrence? (iMac)

    As of iPhoto 9.6.1 this was still an issue for me and i finally found a "safe" way to fix this problem!
    1) select thumbnails that show up as empty dotted lines. or select all thumbnails with command-a
    2) click command-r 4 times. after the 3nd time the thumbnail will appear and the last click will set it back to how it originally was.

  • There is a line around my image and i want to get rid of it. is there an easy way?

    that is the image i am editing, please help i need this done asap

    You can simply paint over the lines with white. A bit tedious but shoudn't take long.
    Or a quicker way:
    1. Use the Color Picker to select the image color.
    2. Activate the Magic Wand and uncheck the Contiguous box.
    3. Click anywhere in the color to select all of it.
    4. Invert the selection and fill with white.
    Note: After step 3 you might want to smooth the selection to minimize the "jaggies". In my PSE version this is via Select>Modify>Smooth. Here is a comparison without Smooth and with Smooth value 5.
    Here is the smooth version if you want to save it:

  • PDF exporting with thin black lines around some images

    Hi there,
    I have spent A LOT of time making a custom SAVE THE DATE card and I cannot find a solution to this problem. When I am working in the document, I do not see thin borders around any of the images but when I export to PDF they show up. I have NO BORDERS selected for all images in the document and cannot figure out why they keep showing up after export.
    I have attached a screen grab of what the document looks like when I am working on it, and another one of what it looks like after export. I am using Pages 5.2.2 and OS X version 10.9.5
    I need to order these SAVE THE DATES by tomorrow to take advantage of the 60% off! Thanks so much for your help!

    I am seeing this same problem in a family newsletter I've created.  The lines do not show up in Pages, but when I export to pdf (or print to pdf), the lines appear.  When I print the document, no lines appear.
    Here's what the top of the newsletter looks like - the black lines show up on all the pages, and in the beige-covered overlay, crosshatching is visible.   The template I'm using was in existence two years ago, but doesn't seem to exist in Pages anymore.  Would that have anything to do with the lines showing up?
    I also found this link, but can't apply any of the suggested fixes, since they apply to Adobe:  <http://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/thin-white-dark-lines-stitching.html>.

  • How do I get rid of the Blue line around an image that is a link that only happens after a click?

    This is not the standard link problem. I have already put in: a img { border : none; }
    That took care of not having a blue border around the image all the time.
    My problem is that when I actually click on the image, it flashes with a red outline then turns bright blue and stays there untill I click off the image. Then it turns normal.
    I have gone through the CSS and put (border: none) on everything I can think of. These images are in the sidebar, stacked vertically. Each is a link to a page and they are all doing the same thing.
    I hope someone can help me solve this problem.
    Thanks, Alice
