I am trying to export a movie through imovie using the share function, but each time imovie seizes up and stops working about halfway through the rendering process and I can't proceed and have to turn off the computer. Can this be fixed?
I am using iMovie and can't seem to complete a render of a completed project through the sharing/media browser. Trying to create a medium size movie that I can then access in iDVD to burn a DVD.
But each time I try, iMovie quits on me about halfway through the rendering process.
I have successfully used media browser to create other movies, but now it doesn't work.
Anybody know of any fixes or troubleshooting?

When trying to troubleshoot my problem I discovered a forum that was saying certain NTFS drives work just fine
Apple support says that an NTFS or exFAT drive cannot be used when connected to the AirPort Extreme.
I suppose it is possible that someone might have been using some type of special software on the drive that might perform a "conversion", but without more details, it is hard to know.
Note: ExFAT and NTFS formats aren't supported.

I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now. Before I updated my phone, I really liked it, now I don't like my phone at all! When will this be fixed? I hope it's soon. I'm thinking of changing providers now.
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Safari Extention "Security 1.0" do not uninstall from the list and is crashing Safari. I cant even open it. I have to turn off the extensions in order to use Safari.I delete all extensions from the /Library/Internet Plugins and ~/Library/Safari/Extensions except for this extension

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmymac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
Back up all data before making any changes.
You will generally have to reboot in order to complete an uninstallation. Until you do that, the uninstallation may have no effect, or unpredictable effects.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
WARNING: Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" such as "AppCleaner" and the like that purport to remove software. -
Trying to restore my iphone 5c, but it says i have to turn off the 'find my phone' option in icloud. when i try, it brings up the wrong apple id. I reset it under itunes & app store in settings but still not working...frustrated!
Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, click Restore button of iTunes on computer.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -
My Adobe programs were deleted as my hard drive was replaced. I still have the serial number but each time I try to re-download it says the serial number is not valid.

Downloaded album but music stops playing about halfway through on each song...
I just downloaded an album from the iTunes store into my iTunes software on my PowerMac. I put the album into a playlist and began to listen. However, on each song the music stops playing about halfway through and then skips to the next song; it does it again and again on this album. What is the problem here? Did I do something wrong? Do I have to download the album again?

My iphone is showing the wrong time and date. All was well until sometime this afternoon when it changed... to Nov 5 (2 days prior to today), and about 9 hours and some minutes before the actual time. The world clock for my time zone shows the same wrong date and time. My calender shows the same wrong date and time. The phone can not find my time zone any more. The only fix I found was to turn off the automatic setting for time. What is happening? Ideas?

The home button on my iPad is no longer working. To get to a new screen or App I have to turn the iPad off and then restart it.
Try calibrating the home button and see if that works. If it doesn't, you could also try restoring with iTunes. Try this first.
Calibrate the home button
1. Open a stock iOS app, such as Contacts
2. Press & hold the sleep/wake button at the top of your device until the red slider control appears.
3. Immediately release the sleep/wake button and press & hold the home button. Hold until the red slider disappears. -
I can not send mail. And to receive mail, I have to turn off the IPad.

The connection to the server apple.smtp.yahoo.mail failed. Try to use other server.
But until yesterday it was working fine.It sounds as if your email provider requires additional authentication to send mail.

Take a look at the section in the SetUp assistant "Checking SMTP Settings". You'll need to enter your password in there, I suspect. -
Do i have to turn off the cellular data when wi-fi is connected?
i have problems with wifi and 3g/edge connection. even if it says that wi-fi is connected, the one downloading my data is 3g/edge. when i turn it off the phone says internet is not connected.
There's no reason to disable cell data when connected to WiFi. How did you determine that cell data network was downloading when a WiFi connecton showed?
Note that when the phone is sleeping, The WiFI connection drops and cell data is reconnected. Any background data transfer while the phone sleeps may be using the cell data network. If you absolutely don't want any cell data network usage, disable it. -

I just bough a time capsule, but I don´t know if I have to turn it off when I´m not at home, I mean while I´m not using it. I would like to know if it is a better idea to buy a battery backup.

ThanksThe TC can run 24/7 no problems.. but if you are away from home for long periods then there is no issues in turning it off.

Just a 2.5" laptop drive in a holder.. sometimes they can be powered directly from USB if the Mac can provide sufficient current. That is better than other methods when you are on the road.
