You haven't told us what PDF reader you're you're using to watch the video in the interactive PDF. You still haven't told us whether you exported File > Export > PDF (Interactive) or PDF (Print)? Please answer the questions so we can try to help you.

You haven't mentioned which version of PSE. If it is PSE 13, that requires a minimum of windows 7.

I'm a MB Pro beginner (after 25 years with PC). I have an Iomega ext HD, but how do get it indexed?, and it doesn't come up with any results I'm trying searches in Finder, and it says "searching Iomega drive" - but I don't think it's indexing. How do I force it to index?
Well I'm leaning the other way. I think my present MBP will be the last Apple product I buy.
With the way Apple is going, all New Mac computers are sealed unit that don't allow the user to upgrade them in any way. They are getting more expensive initially. They are impossible to fix, even by Apple. All the parts are either soldered to the Logic Board or glued inside the case parts. The add on warranty only covers manufacturing defects and is expensive. And to fix one out of waranty is close to if not more then a new system.
The only thing different in a Mac, and most other products Apple sells, is the operating system and the cases they come in. As for the OS both have their glitches and at this time there are no viruses that infect OS X. There is more software available for Windows. More choices as to what hardware you can use or upgrade to at a later date.
Mac computers are becoming large iPads or iPhones with built in keyboards.

Hi I like to export movies and put them on youtube. But it takes 2 hours to export i usually export 20 min of film how can i speed this up? can somebody help me thanks
It's not a good idea to use a network disk for both Time Machine backups and other things. By design Time Machine will eventually consume all the space on its output disk, which will then cause problem for your other files. I'd store those other files on an external disk connected to the Time Capsule. The problem with that is that Time Machine will only back up files that are local to your Mac. That means that you'll only have one copy of the files on or attached to your Time Capsule.

Exporting a tri-fold brochure PDF, but the second page appears totally blank.

The odd thing about this problem is that I am currently working on two brochures, and the exporting problem only appears to happening with one of them. Below is a screen shot of the offending page. It does contain a lot more pictures than my other brochure which is exporting easily. Export settings are identical, BTW.
This is my first inDesign project, so I could be making a newbie mistake. Thanks for your help!
DanIt seems to be the inner glow, though I don't know why that's a problem. On the other hand, I can't see that it actually is doing anything (nor is the outer glow) and it can be turned off without affecting the file, I think. I don't see that the drop shadows on the photos are going to be visible in the finished product, either, and I'd also remove those (the ones on the color bars are visible).
There's also a very tiny unfilled rectangle at the top of the stack that's in the area of the young man's hair in the center photo. It should probably be deleted. You can expand the layer and select it there to remove it. I would also suggest using something other than the Times .dfont for the verse citation. .dfonts can be a problem when you go to print. -

If, as I suspect, you changed the [Paper] swatch, then you aren't seeing a malfunction. That swatch is non-printing, and will not show up anywhere but in the InDesign editing environment. To add a color in the background, you must actually fill an object with the color and position it behind the rest of the elements in your layout. -
Trying to update my ipad2 - went to Settings, General but I don't have a Software Download option. Now what?
Very old versions of the iOS prior to iOS 5 did not have the option to update over the air by using the Settings app. If your iOS is lower than 5.0 you need to update your iPad while connected to the computer you normally sync with.
First thing to do is start iTunes on your computer and use the menu to check for updates. Your iTunes must be version 11.1 so it you have and earlier version of iTunes on your computer update iTunes to 11.1.
Then start iTunes on your computer and connect your iPad. Select your iPad in iTunes and select General or Summary in the right side panel. Do a backup of your iPad next.
Once the backup is complete click on Check for updates. -

When you create an account you should get an email to the primary email address that you put on the account - that should show in your account's inbox, just access your email account in the way that you normally access it. I Export an InDesign CC document to an .fla-file.
But when I open the fla into Flash Professional CC I don't see anything.
I see that InDesign CC exports the file to an C6 fla.

InDesign pages get exported as movie clips and are put on the main timeline sequentially. Exported FLA's have no code and you would need to add ActionScript code to the timeline or document.as file in order to make the pages do anything. So if your first page was blank the first key frame will be blank: -

CharlotteAre you sure there´s only one page.... in swf, pages are stacked, so you see only one page/spread at the time...
If you checked "Interactive Page Curl" in Export-window, you can turn your first page by bringing you cursor to top or bottom-right corner. You should see a "corner-tease" where next page is peeking from corner. When you clic or drag from corner, you can turn on second spread... -
I have a set of long typed documents in pdf format. It would be really helpful to save the whole document to Word and then be able to break it up into different sections and save separately. I thought the 30 day free trial would allow me to do everything the program could do for free - but I cant seem to be able to view any files that have been uploaded to a cloud unless I pay for them. I am happy to be a paying subscriber but I need to see that the program works as I want it to first. Has anyone saved pdfs as word documents successfully using this program?

With Adobe Reader you can save PDF documents as text.
With Adobe Acrobat you can save PDF documents as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, HTML docs, etc. -
My hard drive failed and so was replaced, luckily everything was backed up on time machine.
I tried to do a full restore, and it went through the process but I couldn't see my files anywhere on the HD. I tried again and same thing. Eventually I used Migration Assistant and this worked fine.
However my hard drive is now full - all my previous restores went somewhere but I can't get at them.
Can anyone please help, I need to delete them from my system.
ThanksIs the HDD in the 2009 15" MBP dead? (The original source of your data) If not, you might want ot take it out and put it in an enclosure.
You might try spotlight on know files to see if that gives you any clues where your data is located.
You might down load from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper (free) and open it. It should show you all of the files you have on your MBP and enable to locate them.
