Hi Mike, make sure the card has Mac ROM, or is a PC card with Mac ROMs flashed to it...

Even when I go to the specific app and press Update, the update begins to install then aborts with this error message.iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.1.1. Also very long delay typing each keystroke in this message.

That error message is usually indicative of a problem with the App Store. If you look through the forums, you'll see that a number of people are experiencing the problem. Try again tomorrow.

You can see the three overloads for the CreateVariable method in the help here: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/372636F-01/mstudiowebhelp/html/3c1ef3de/. I couldn't find an example snippet of code but if you wanted to explicity define the type you need to use CreateVariable(VariableCreationOptions) like this:
string processName = "myProcess";
string variableName = "myVariable";
ServerProcessInfo procInfo = ServerProcess.Create(processName, true);
VariableCreationOptions varOptions = new VariableCreationOptions(processName, variableName);
varOptions.VariableType = typeof(Double); //this is where you specify the type
ServerVariableInfo varInfo = procInfo.CreateVariable(varOptions);

Try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your issue is resolved.

Emails that i have stored into folders in my yahoo account are still there... same with my sent emails... it's just the Inbox emails.. strange, very strange. I don't know how to 'move' the emails from my Mac Mail back to my Yahoo account.

Please read and begin using Can receive email, but not send email. I had a similar issue with Comcast mail (could receive by not send) and found my answer in this letter. For me it took resetting the outgoing mail and telling the system to use a password when sending outgoing mail. If you need help with that please advise and I'll tell you where to look.

On your iPad, you can open iTunes and click on Purchases. Plus, when you purchase something from iTunes, you should get an email with the purchase details to the email you set up as your Apple ID. There isn't a way - at least not that I have found. I'm having an issue with this as well - seems like a shoddy sort of business practice. I refuse to enter my credit card number to download a FREE app. I'm encouraging the user community that has a problem with this to please post your opinion as well. I know this is a use community, but I have to think that Apple will take notice when an issue gets a lot of attention. Apple needs to hear your voice.

HT1296 Trying to find why items entered on calendar on the iPhone do not sync onto the calendar on my Mac. Items entered on the Mac do sync to the iPhone calendar.

Have checked settings on the iPhone and Mac and can find nothing to change. The problem existed with my iPad Touch, so I guess that the problem is with a setting on the Mac. Any recommendations?

I accidentally deleted important text messages between me and a friend I really need these back and i need help trying to find a way i haven't synced my iPhone to the computer since 2013

I need these deleted text messages, they are very important. I have been up all night trying to recover these lost text messages but no matter how many times I try I can't get them. I haven't synced my device to itunes since sometime in 2013 and my icloud isn't working and doesn't say that it backs up text messaging. I'm out of ways to get my deleted text message. It's very important that i get it back. It can stop a lot of problems that I am having.

If you have not made a backup of the device while the text messages were on the device, then there is nothing that you can do. If you have created a backup of the device with the messages on there, then you can restore to that backup. The iCloud backup does backup SMS, so if you did make one, then they would be there. Otherwise, you are out of luck.
