I am trying to get to a website I go to daily and get the message: "An error occured with the SQL server This is not a problem with the IP Board but rather your SQL server." I have no idea what this error is or what to do about it.
I have tried clearing everything, rebooting, I just do not know what this actual error is. I was on the website, went back about 30 minutes later and that message. No other websites are bringing up this error.
If FCP captures the footage then capture with FCP and import the files into Premiere. Just a few extra clicks.

I am using Logic Pro 9 with two MXL 990 microphones in my piano and a Rode NT1A for vocals. I have tried recording with added reverb and keeping getting not a natural reverb sound, but a rather "pixilated" one that does not sound natural. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue? I have tried using Silververb and Space Designer, and both result in the same problems. Thank you!
This is asking for the impossible! It does not sound natural because maybe it isn't and in judging so whats your reference anyway. If you are in dire need of some natural sounding room you can go and record it yourself. But even then, the chances that it sounds like you imagined it, are very slim.
There are very decent sounding reverberation plugins, based on artificial reverb generators or convolution-style, the last one is said to sound more 'natural' then the first one. Be it as it maybe, it really is like cooking food. You got all the ingredients for this delicious taste at hand and believe it or not to reach a satisfying result this is not enough, because if you do not mix the ingredients in the right proportion you will end up with a different dish you thought you'll get. This is exactly the same when one would mix audio, I dare say.
So treat yourself to some good ingredients and the rest is up to you, namely: taste and experience!
And looking at some of my past music productions I always find the same plugins for the 'ambient' task:
Altiverb by Audio Ease when I have acoustic ensembles (classical music mostly), the Sony Oxford Reverb in studio productions, Bricasti when I have to deal with drums and MMultiBandReverb from MeldaProduction for all-round stuff. Thats the base I start from, after that I can end up with dozen Reverb plugins which basically all are doing the same thing but just in a tiny different way. -
Recently my iPhone 4's sounds are going haywire. I have a Jensen radio iPod dock that I hooked it up to earlier on in the week(first time too) and when it played a song, my iPhone said that this video was being played on a television. Since then the ringer(at times) along with my texts, you tube videos and iPod on my iPhone won't play music through the speakers. However sometimes my ringer comes through. Same as alarms. When I try to adjust the volume settings it doesn't do anything. My speakers work fine. It's just getting it to recognize its not being played on a tv anymore that is annoying.
Does anyone have any clue what to do?
ThanksDaVBMan, thanks for that post. That clears up something for me. I think I have experienced that funny noise as well. It sounds like a Morse Code message. I have heard that same noise while at Church on it's PA speaker system. When I heard this, I figured the speakers were picking some radio frequency noise, but I couldn't understand what exactly it was. When I purchased my iPhone, I already had an old cable, stereo jack on one end and RCA plugs on the other. I noticed the same noise on my speakers. So, I am figuring if I replace the cable, I should be fine.

Well my iphone 5 does not remember my home network. This is not a problem with the wifi router as the ipad works absolutely fine. The wifi loses it connection in just 2 minutes. So could you please fix this problem.
Not unless the modem is causing a problem.
What you want to do is get it to work reliably over Ethernet first, then tackle wifi. Power off the modem. On your macbook, delete the Ethernet configuration and the Wifi configuration. Power up the modem, then connect the mac via Ethernet. Create the new Ethernet configuration and see if you can connect. -
My home page opens fine but sub pages attempt to load from the local drive. Not a problem with IE.
Some time ago, while doing a bunch of things at once, FF asked me a question...not sure what it was as I was distracted by other things...I answered "yes" and since then my own website's subpages attempt to load from my C drive. This is not a problem with the homepage itself and it does not occur with other browsers. Driving me crazy and no one seems to know what is the problem...only with FireFox
http://www.questfundingservices.us is the home page which opens fine on any browser. But, in FF, any of my sub-pages attempts to open from the local drive. I believe this happens for other viewers of the site, but I am not 100% sure of that.
I never intentionally entered a <BASE local in the html and I don't think there is one, but you can check the source yourself.
This was never a problem until one day, while doing 50 things at once, I went to my website and FF popped up a question...Don't remember what it was and, in my haste I just said "yes", I think...and this problem has occurred ever since!!! -
Just tried to import a new CD into my iTunes music library, but get this error code "error occurred while converting file. You do not have the privilege to make changes"....any thoughts? Have not tried to change anything- only import CD ??

Nobody can tell you anything without knowing exact site and server specs, but I would suspect that naming the folder "html" wasn't the brightest of ideas, since that's usually a default (invisible) folder name existing somewhere on the server and the user not having privileges to overwrite it.

I've purchased an album through the itunes store and every track plays except one which continually asks me to authorise my computer. I've tried all the steps suggested above but still no joy. Anyone have any ideas what i can do next? Thanks Paul
Sounds like you have a "damaged track" or "damaged file".
This worked for me today downloading Kendrick Lamar's new Album "good kid, m.A.A.d city".
My situation: I bought the album today for my Mac, MacBook Pro, iPad 2, and iPhone 4S devices.
Issue: One song (only on my MacBook Pro) would not play, instead display "
EX: left"
Solution: 1. Manually delete the song (giving you the error) permantly from the authorized computer.
2. Open iTunes, Click iTunes Store (left sidebar), and locate Quick Links and then click Purchased to proceed.
3. Click "Not On This Computer", find the song that wouldn't play, and re-download it again.
4. Check your Music Library for your song (Should download inside the associated album) and hit play.
EX: (Song I purchased that wouldn't play because of authorization, playing)

I downloaded some home movies onto my IMac but could not find a way to burn them to a DVD. Does Apple have software to do this or do I need to purchase one. If so, what is recommended.

Do you want to create a video DVD that will plan on a TV set via a DVD player or just burn the video files to a data DVD disk for storage?

If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailier like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Softwareor eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.
Why iLife 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.
Export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. Select Size = Medium or Large.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
However, there are video DVD authoring apps that are available at the App Store that will create a video DVD disk. They won't be as extensive as iDVD but can create a simple video DVD.
iDVD 7.1.2 is compatible with iDVD but we don't if it will be with the next system generation. -

I have 7600 duplicates on my itunes account. I have no idea how this happened and want to delete the duplicates en mass.
Is it possible? How would I do it?
This happened just recently.
I do have a backup on My Book that may not have the duplicates. Not sure I WANT TO GO NUCLEAR THOUGH AND DELETE ALL THE DUPLICATES.

TODDIf you've recently created a bunch of duplicates then, with the main Music playlist showing, hold down Option (Mac) or Shift (PC) and then the menu File > Display Exact Duplicates. Sort the resulting list on the Date Added field, select the range of tracks representing the recent imports which you know to be duplicates and delete.
To delete any older duplicates scattered through the library sort the list in a conventional order like Album by Artist and delete all but one copy of each cluster of identical tracks.
Normally when you delete the duplicate entries from the library you will also want to delete the underlying files, however in certain circumstances it is possible for iTunes to make two separate entries to the same physical file on your hard drive. In this case deleting the file for the one entry will break the other one. If possible try to work out which type of duplicates you have before deleting any files, and check that the remaining entries play before emptying the trash.

I tried to download a form from my doctor's office and got a message that I had to install adobe reader, accept the end-user agreement, quit and relaunch. I did all that, to my understanding of those words which could be wrong, but still have the same message. Please help.
