I am trying to install Adobe premiere elements 8 on my new computer (Windows 7). The program ansvers with "the program is not installed or can be damaged". Then aborts the installation.
It`s right, the program is not istalld, it is what i`m trying to do. And there is no problem whit the DVD. Any suggestions?

Firstly, you should have installed PRE along with PSE in the first go itself, then everything would have been smooth. If you deferred the decision, then also there was no need to uninstall PSE per se. What could have been done is go to the installer media, browse to the "PRETrial" folder and then click on the Setup.exe of PRE installer to install PRE and at the serial number screen just choose the option to install in trial mode.
Now, the error you are getting is strange. When I search over web, I found this mentioned for Error 2755:
This error may occur if there are insufficient privileges on the %windir%\Installer folder, or the inability of the Windows Installer service to create the %windir%\Installer folder.
NOTE: This behavior can also occur if you have only Read permissions to the Winnt folder. This condition prevents the Installer folder from being created by Setup.
Can you please check that?

Please explain your question a bit further. Is the following your scenario?
1. You installed Adobe Premiere Elements 13 (on what computer operating system?) Assumed from installation disc and to the default location on the Local Drive C.
2. You are inserting your installation disc into the burner tray, the burner being the E drive? And, you get a message about empty E drive instead of the AutoPlay for
you to click on to start the installation path?
There is a known problem with Premiere Elements 13/13.1 where installation of this version generates a No Disc error. The fix for that is deleting or disabling the OldFilm.AEX
file in the path
Program Files
Adobe
Adobe Premiere Elements 13
Plug-ins
Common
NewBlue
and in the NewBlue Folder is the OldFilm.AEX file that you delete or disable by renaming it from OldFilm.AEX to OldFilm.AEXOLD.

I think I figued it out... But why installations instructions didn't come up when I inserted the disk was very annoying. And because they didn't, Adobe should post th installations instructions somewhere on their support site. Not here now, which is also annoying.

My Dell laptop will not install Adobe Premiere Elements 4. I keep getting an Error message.
I do have Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 on my computer, but I am unable to import footage from a DVD.
I think because it is in the wrong format and I need to convert it.
To cope with this problem, I tried to install Adobe Premiere Elements 4, but it will not install.
I tried to contact Adobe Tech Support, but Tech support from Adobe is closed.
Even when it opens, I don't know if they will help.

My GUESS is you have Win7 and version 4 is simply too old

I am trying to make an SCCM install package for PremiereElements_10_LS15_win64. I am following the directions I found here http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/silent-install-instructions-photoshop-element s-1.html and I am using a Win7 SP1 machine with a new NT profile that does have admin rights. The error I receive is, "Install Adobe Premiere Elements 10 using the setup.exe in the root folder."
Also, when I try to use AAMEE 2.1 I am told that when I use the containing the setup.exe and the .msi that "A valid installer could not be found."

First of all, you will not be able to package PSE 10 using AAMEE. It needs to be packaged only using the xml method, that you tried and got the error.
So, here is want i want you to try.
> Take a Win 7 machine with a fresh OS installation.
> Follow the above article that you have properly i.e. create the application.xml.override.
> Test the xml package by running the command mentioned under step 2 using the command prompt.
Check if that works.

I have windows 7 on my computer
I have installed disc 1 (adobe photoshop elements 9). My computer said it installed sucessfully.
I tried to install disc 2 (adobe premiere elements 9). My computer said 'Elements 9 not installed either adobe premiere elements 9 is not installed on the system or has corrupted. Please install adobe premiere elements 9 & retry.'
I disabled my antivirus softrware before I installed disc 1 and again with disc 2.
Is there something wrong with the discs?

Could you post a screenshot of that error message that you are getting from your Mac computer when you are trying to install Premiere Elements 12 Mac?
Are you installing from an installation disc or from installation files for the tryout or a purchased copy?
I am strictly an Elements Windows, but I have seen this type of things happen when I was downloading a tryout from Adobe and I point the download to my Desktop. I had more resources imaginable and still got the message. When I pointed the download to my Documents instead of the Desktop, in seconds, the download proceeded to a successful conclusion.
I am not sure what the Mac counterparts of all that would be.
What is your Mac operating system?
