If some of your apps were purchased using other Apple IDs, you'll need to login to these other IDs in order to update them. If that's not the case, then I don't know what's going on...

You changed the ID in Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID? Tapped your old ID and signed out then signed in with the new ID?
If you created a new ID - that could be the problem. There is a difference between changing the ID (for instance if you got a new email provider) and creating a whole new ID. Purchases are always tied to the ID used to make the purchase. You can't transfer purchases to a new ID. -

Welcome to the Support Communities! I'm not sure from your post what steps you have tried, but it sounds like you may need to use recovery mode to address the issue with your unresponsive iPod touch.

You can put your iOS device into recovery mode, then restore it using iTunes.
Use recovery mode

Turn off your device and leave it off.

Exactly how are you trying to restore form TM?
Have you tried rebuilding your iPhoto library?
And your comments indicate that you may not understand iPhoto at all - you should not be inside the iPhoto library - there are no user servicable parts in it - and iPhoto does not duplicate photos - more details of yoru work flow would help sort this out

I have just updated itunes on my pc (windows XP) to the latest version. When I try to open it I get an error message saying the application failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found< Have tried reinstalling with no luck. Any ideas?

Lightroom 4.4 keeps crashing saying "Lightroom encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit" please help. I've tried reinstalling it and everything Windows 8.1
I assume you know where your catalogue file (the lrcat file) is located. In the same folder is a previews lrdata folder which you should delete or rename in Explorer, then start LR again.
If I've made incorrect assumptions above, sorry, and we'll go back over it from the start.

I cant get my ipad 2 out of recovery. The apple icon stays on and nothing happens. I tried restoring it through Itunes but it comes up with a 3194 error code. I have the latest Itunes being 10.6.1.7 and the latest windows update.Can someone please help?
Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -
