I am trying to print PDF's of delivery tickets to a dot matrix printer but they do print as they appear on screen. How do I fix this?

I was having problems with adware and I beleive that everything might have been reset as the help desk person was working remotely on my computer. Also, when I print to my HP Laser Jet P2035, it prints a blank page after printing the pdf on the first.

Please check the default printer settings that you have set. Do the tickets print as they appear in the print preview?
If you change any settings, do you see a change in the print preview?
Most printing issues are fixed by resetting the print.printer configuration in the about:config page. Please also see [[Fix printing problems in Firefox]]
If this is still printing white pages, please add "escalate" to the Tags on this thread and we can take a closer look.

My recommendation is to restart the iPhone. All you do is hold down the top button and hold down the home button for 5 seconds untill it automatically shuts down. Then click the top button untill you see a grey apple on your screen.

I've never heard of that product before, but it seems to be, among other things, a 32-bit browser plugin. If that's the part you're having trouble with, quit your browser (e.g., Safari), select its icon in the Applications folder, open the info window, and check the box labeled "Open in 32-bit mode." I have not been able to get onto the internet using firefox. when I click on it it goes through the motions but nothing happens. I had to use internet explorurer to go to the net. I tried to uninstall firefox to reinstall it thinking there was a problem and it tells me that I have one or more apps on firefox open when I go to cntl/alt/delete is shows me nothing is open. A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

If you are getting a message that your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.

Whenever I open a pdf document in a tab, it takes away my ability to scroll through websites open on other tabs. How do I fix this?

I have use a laptop with a mouse, and I have the touch pad enabled. When I have just one PDF open the touch pad will scroll through only the PDF while the mouse wheel will still scroll through websites in other tabs. However if I open a second PDF the mouse wheel will cease to scroll through other sites and only work in that document. I have the latest version of adobe reader as the default PDF viewer. Also, if I leave a PDF document open when I leave the computer my stumbleupon toolbar will have switched places with my bookmarks toolbar when I come back; restarting Firefox always fixes this, though.

I already found the Javascript solution in Acrobat... It works more or less (layout problems), but it's impossible to do one by one as I have many links in my doc...
I don't understand why it's not possible to make it directly with InDesign before exporting it in pdf or while exporting it. There should be an option in the "new hyperlink" dialog box or in the pdf parameters.

Sounds like the iPhone is locked to another wireless provider.
Have your sister contact her wireless provider to see if they
offer unlocking and if she qualifies.

Direct download links to PDF files (URLs that end in .pdf) preview or open (or whatever I set in the App preferences dialog) no problem. However, any PDF file that is pushed by a php script can only be downloaded (no matter what I set in the App preferences dialog).

What were you upgrading? I mean was this a new OS like Mavericks or just some application upgrade?
Try restarting the machine and holding down the Command and R keys. Does it boot to the Recovery partition and can you see it? That at least tells if this is a hardware problem.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.

Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, see if iTunes will launch without the error now.
