I am trying to re-install Adobe InDesign CS2 and having problems. It won't accept my old serial number, and while in the instructions it says it will give a new serial number I can't find that.
I know CS2 is old, but that is all I have.
Directions to find it are on the page with the installation instructions.
Locate the language and application you want to install and note its serial number (located to the right of the download links). The serial number is required during installation.
Note:The serial numbers included with your original CS2 applications do not work with these CS2 application versions.

I can't be the only person who has this problem with iCal- when a month ends on a Saturday I can't drag events into the next month and instead have to cut and paste - a real pain in the butt. I thought there was something called "scroll" but I can't find that.
Yeah that works, but, it involves a click on the event, a click on edit, a click on the date, keystrokes, plus, since you can't see the next month you have to have a calendar in front of you so as to put it to the right date. It's easier just to cut it and advance the month and paste it, once you are in the right month you can move it around helter skelter willy nilly no problems. Although now that you mention it I will try it, maybe it is easier than cut and paste as I don't really care about the date, as long as it gets moved into the right month I can drag it around all I want.

After upgrade to ios7, few time i am having problem with my sound/speaker with terroble sound effect like machine or something.but after restart it will be fine.but how this thing can be fix? Because i never had this problem before upgrade to ios7.tq
Try going into your settings and 'reset all settings'
You will need to retweak your device but it's been said to help with sound issues. -
I was trying to updated my iphone when I plugged into my computer (PC) and it said I had to go to the store and check 'trust this computer' in order to download new version and not lose apps i had purchased on iTunes. I can't find where to do that?

Hi - Does someone know how to authorize a computer so it will play the songs you've bought from iTunes? I've wasted nearly two hours trying. It all began when I tried to remove a previously authorized computer which broke down years ago.
Step 1 - Log in with apple ID, go into account and click the deauthorize computers button (that's what they tell you to do if you can't connect the broken computer to deauthorize it). I managed that.
Result - Now it says I have no authorized computers. Fair enough. Except I'm trying to reauthorize the one and only working computer we own so it plays the music we've previously bought, and so we can use the iTunes store credit we still have.
Step 2 - Try and reauthorize the working computer - the one I'm typing on - it was authorized earlier today - until I had to unauthorize it to remove the defunct computer with that deauthorize all button.
Anyway the instructions to authorize/reauthorize a computer say, "Go to Store menu - then authorize this computer. " Sounds simple!
It's at this point I'm stuck - the instructions are insufficient for me.There are no links to redirect you to the correct place to authorize your computer. It just says to go to store and authorize this computer. When I press store it's connecting me to store but I can't find anything that says authorize this computer - I can just see album covers etc. On the right I can see our account but I can't find store menu or an authorize this computer button in that either. If I click on our account it says that we have no authorized devices or computers. I'm logged into our account with the correct apple ID - otherwise I wouldn't be able to read that we have no authorized computers would I? And I've logged in and out several times and tried to refresh the page.
Could someone please send me a link to the Store menu so I can click on the correct page then hopefully reauthorize our previously authorized computer. We are using Windows 7, but I don't know what version of itunes - it's a fairly recent version though.

How to open Apple ID account with gift card! I have gift card and type its code in itunes. And it asked me again to contact itune support to acheive that.. I'm also the new apple user so i don't know much about this! Please help!

Gift cards aren't available in all countries, and they are country-specific - they can only be used in their country of issue. Also all items that you you buy/download from the store are tied to your account, you can't share them with other people.

My old computer has died. How can I retreive my itunes library and playlists to put on my new computer? I don't think it was saved in cloud. Does itunes have this info that I can get?

Will adobe indesign cs2 work on 10.4.11
I am trying to learn if Adobe Indesign CS2 will work on my G3 Powerbook running 10.4.11. The Adobe site only lists operating systems at the time of publication and lists 10.3.8 as the latest. The next version, Cs3 begins with 10.5. So 10.4 Tiger is skipped!

Could you please let me know if you are using subscription or bought Acrobat as a one-time purchase.
If its a subscription, then all you need is to sign in at adobe.com using your Adobe credentials and download the software.

Creative Cloud products don't use serial numbers. Simply log-in with your Adobe ID (email) and password.

adobe starter edition has photo numbers by the picture such as DSCO0283.JPG , where can I find that number on the pictures in PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12--reason being that photoshop elements will not convert my catalog to version 12. If i had that number I could manually rebuild my collections into the photoshop elements 12, but all that i see in photoshop elements is dates and i have multiple pictures from the same dates. HELP! error messages--- had to give up trying to convert---I copied all our pictures to our windows 7 laptop and I installed adobe photoshop elements 12 (my bought program)
I wanted to try to convert there first. also I copied our catalog to this computer also. Everything was working fine I could see the collections just as they where on the XP computer.
then I tried to convert on the laptop. I believe the error said something about corrupt file, so I gave up that day. Next day I tried to open ADOBE STARTER EDITION 3.2 and it wanted an unlock code, no such code exists. and my copy of Elements 12 turned into a trial version which has expired. So I am a little hesitant to try to convert on the XP computer and mess up the existing catalog,
unless there is a fool proof way. I have tried manually making collections/ albums on Windows 8.1 and PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 and coping pictures into the new albums. sloooow!!
I probably have about 4500 pictures and 150 collections/ albums to go. So any suggestions would be appreciated. -
Just purchased Lightroom (stand alone) and asks for a previous serial number. I don't have one only an students version of photoshop for which I can't find the serial number
If it is asking for a serial number for a previous version then you purchased an upgrade version rather than a standalone version. You should be able to determine this based on the price you paid. If you do not own an earlier version then you need to purchase a full version rather than an upgrade. If you did purchase a full version but acquired an upgrade version then you will need to acquire the full version.

I'm trying to add my HP wireless printer as a "new client" to my wireless network using Airport Utility, but I can't find that option in the new version. I've downloaded all available updates of the OS and the utility.. Help!
Why would you need to ADD a new Client. Unless the APE sytem is completely different then any other Wireless router the printer should get an IP address from the router. That is IF the printer is setup to get an IP from the LAN DHCP server.
Now you may want to make that IP it does get a Staticly assign IP address so it never changes, which will screw up printing if it does change. But i don't know if you can do that with APE routers. -
I upgraded to Mountain from Snow and find that there is now a problem adding iphoto to the cloud. I have iphoto '08,version 7.1.5. Tried to follow one poster's advice and upgrade to 9.1 but I need 9.0 first and I can't find that. suggestions? thanks!
You have to buy iPhoto from the Mac App Store.

Adobe Acrobat 10 creates unwanted border on PDF
When I create a PDF file, Acrobat is leaving a .015 border on all four sides of the document. I have to manual "crop" off .015 on every PDF. Anyone have a suggestion on how to alleviate this? THANKS, Bob
