I need to receive a refund for my purchase from the MAS for Adobe Photoshop Elements. The MAS sold me a copy of the program in German. When I went to look for help on this there was no clear support from Apple at the time. I went to ADOBE to receive support. They would not support it without a serial number. MAS refused to give me a serial number and the responder to the thread in a discussion here merely (snottily) regurgitated links on MAC policy and said ADOBE had to give me the serial number (which it won't do.) So now I need a refund so that I can purchase a legitimate copy of the program, with a real serial number so that Adobe will support it. How do I receive a refund for this transaction. MAS still has not responded to my e-mail.

If I had spent $80 on something and received less than helpful service from a telephone representative getting critical information, an Apple Store and its manager would be my next stop.
That is how life works.

Has anyone tried to get a refund for Lion Server yet?

It's clear why server is only $50 now. Some of the new features looked very promising, but this product is completely crippled and dumbed-down compared to Snow Leopard Server. Once I accepted the fact that it is not possible to upgrade an existing 10.6 server to 10.7, I gave up on that and simply tried to do a clean install and start over from scratch. All I'm trying to do is set up a few network accounts that can connect to the iCal and Address Book services. It simply does not work. It is not possible to create an Open Directory master on 10.7 Server without some kind of failure along the way. I have clean-installed 5 times now, and it just doesn't work. Local users seem to work ok, but network users, which you must use if you want to work with the Profile Manager, simply do not work.
I am rolling back to my clone of 10.6 server now. I am curious if anyone else has given up on 10.7 server and tried to get a refund from Apple yet, and if so, what the outcome was.

I hope to be able to upgrade to Lion Server at some point but it is increasingly clear that Lion Server is not yet ready.

the problem has just started, i didnt change anything from what was before. internet connection looks ok.
i am attaching the error messages and my account settings.

I finally solved my problem by deleting both accounts and then adding them back via tools - account settings - account actions. It was actually pretty simple... all I had to know was email addresses and passwords. Trying to correct the account settings didn't work for me or for the ATT tech I contacted.

ok after some research it seems i can find the dimensions i need using "gutters". only problem i see now is that the intervals on x axis are set to incriment by 2 but the actual widths are not identical on each. ive tested this with x coordinates which shows every other point to change width by 1 pixel (29,30,29,30,29.....etc) this is a nightmare as i was hoping these would be identical so i could work out my container sizes so they line up.
is there anyway to set the widths of the x axis points? or does anyone have another idea of a way i can tackle this.

Did you get the sub through an app? If so, that app should have a support page or a way to contact them. Their support page should also have a FAQ that would cover cancelling your sub.
