You will need to have the serial number to activate the products. Please have then handy & also check the compatibility of the operating systems.

Cant find the right forum for this but can i restore my hd from time mch to a year ago and then restore individual files such as logic lprojects that are on same time mchne backup from last week?

b. Restore more recent individual files such as logic projects individually from same time machine backup
c. install any programs manually again only couple of vsts

Had an i-pod nano and downloaded some albums for my wifew 3 years ago. Lost it! Now I have an i-pod touch. When I started to play an old song, I could hear blank spaces in the music. The PC and the I-pod both have the same errors. My purchase history apparently doesn't go back that far. I'd just like to fix the song, and learn how to deal with this issue in the future.

First, Get Info on the track to confirm which iTunes Store account the track was purchased through. It may have been purchased via another account which would explain why it doesn't appear in your Purchased list in the iTunes Store.
If you confirm that you're looking in the correct account but the track isn't appearing, then after all this time there may not be anything you can do other than repurchase the track, but go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

I did a stupid thing and I reset the phone to the factory settings and now I inserted a lyca sim and it says that The sim card inserted does not seem to be supported. please help me!!!

I'm assuming you're referring to the original iPhone.
More than likely, it was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it.
In the US, all of the original iPhones sold were locked to AT&T. AT&T did not offer unlocking at the time.
The best case scenario is that it has now re-locked to AT&T. Luckily, AT&T now offers unlocking. All original iPhones were sold at full retail. They were not subsidized.

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number. If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong during the uninstall/reinstall process. In the Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, look for '''Mozilla Firefox'''. Make sure to save (do not delete) your personal settings when uninstalling.

Hi, original poster here. I did not realize this would generate more discussion so I never checked back. I still had my warranty, so I took it to the store and got it repaired. The original problem I had was a screen with this icon flashing when I attempted to boot it up:
When I took it to the store, they told me that my computer was unable to communicate with the hard drive. I had this same problem three times in two months where this screen reappeared. Each time I went back to the store and they said the cause was different, but they were all hardware issues that physically made it impossible to communicate with the hard drive. After the third time, they simply replaced my laptop and I haven't had the same problem.
So in short: The reason you can't reinstall or move anything when you encounter this screen appears to be because nothing can communicate with the hard drive in the first place. You can't reach the disk or anything on it. So I don't believe it's possible to do anything besides take it to a physical store and have it fixed.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
