I am trying to remove Acro Pro 9, and install Acro Pro X. Cannot Uninstall Update 9.5.1--?

I am trying to remove Acro Pro Nine from a machine, and to install Acro Pro X.
I manually "deactivated" the Nine, as instructed.
Now I go to Win XP "Add/Remove Programs" -- there is the Acro Pro, and there is a separate entry for Update 9.5.1. Win XP says "This update cannot be removed."
I would rather not crash this machine. If I remove the core Acrobat 9 Pro, will "Adobe Acrobat 9.5.1 -CPSID_83708" be a problem?

Hi Xenophon,
You can remove the Acrobat 9 Pro from your machine and that will itself take care of the entry named "Adobe Acrobat 9.5.1 -CPSID_83708".
This entry denotes the latest update to Acrobat installed on this machine.
You don't specifically need to worry about this.

Thank you for taking a look at my problem. My Windows computer crashed so I removed the hard drive and installed it into a hard drive enclosure and connected it to my new Windows computer with a USB cord. I installed Mozilla Thunderbird on my new computer and read the different tutorials on this website for extracting data from the external hard drive and installing it on my new computer however I cannot seem to be able to find the files that I need and quite frankly I do not know how to move them once I do find them. I even tried MozBackup but it could not find the files either. I searched for profiles.ini in the hard drive and the only hit I got was a profiles.ini file that was 111 bytes in size. I assumed that this was not what I was looking for but I did save a copy on my desktop. If someone has experience with moving files from a hard drive to a new computer I would be grateful for the help.

lets get with the program. Mozbackup is useless in this situation because it looks for your profile in the location Thunderbird says it is.
You biggest hurdle is probably setting windows to show system and hidden files. The %appdata% folders are hidden by windows.

As I understand, you can’t open InfoPath form in SharePoint 2013 unless you change the URL without “ms-infopath:ofe|u|”.
There are some reasons which maybe cause this issue, and you can try to do things below:
Access CA -> General Application Settings -> Configure InfoPath Form Service -> Check the two options in User Browser-enabled Form Templates.
Go into the registry by typing regedit from the Run line and rename the SharePoint.OpenDocuments.5 key (ex. SharePoint.OpenDocuments.5.old) under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.
In library settings, click "relink documents to this library".

I want to triple boot my Mac Pro I have Snow Leopard and XP on separate drives (osx on drive 1, xp on drive 2) and I want Windows 7 on another drive (drive 4, drive 3 is used by osx for storage), can it be done by temporarily removing the xp drive and installing windows 7 on drive 4?
I realise bootcamp only allows 2 operating systems and refit could change the size of my current xp drive to accomodate W7, that is not an option here for various reasons one being the drive is pretty much at capacity with only about 30gig free (I work with video so that free space fluctautes quite a bit). I have a brand new drive 4 with 1TB set aside ready for W7 but I'm unsure how to go ahead?

Boot Camp is used to support Windows on the same drive.
You can have a different OS on every drive.
You could have Windows 7, Vista, and XP all on one drive if you so choose.
I recommend not putting Windows and OS X on the same dirve when talking about Mac Pro - unless you just need something small and lite.
Remove all your other drives while you install Windows 7.
You could even relocate XP - if you need it even - or recover the hard drive space.
You should always keep 30% free for Mac OS; same for data/media drives.
Considering 1.5TB WD Black $110.... and you want OS X to be on a fast high performance drive as well.

Yeah, I literally have tried everything except deleting my iCloud account (I'm close, but that would require so many changes that it is way too painful to consider at this point).
I am still waiting to hear back from Apple Support. Hopefully something can be done, or they can do a reset on their end.

Premiere Pro CS5.5 Upgrade is Downloaded and Installed, but 5.0 Isn't Updating

Hi there. I may be missing something very simple here, but here goes: I already have Premiere Pro CS5 on my system, and I just purchased, downloaded and installed the 5.5 upgrade a little while ago, but CS5 isn't upgrading. It's still opening as Version 5.0.3.
It didn't ask me for my serial number at installation, which made me think it found what it was upgrading, and I've tried restarting, but to no avail.
Any help is much appreciated. Am I missing a step?

Hi,
Premiere pro CS5 and Premiere Pro CS5.5 are installed as seperate programs.
So Premiere Pro cs5.5 might have installed as a seperate program.
Check the all program list for the same.
If you face issues, just contact adobe technical support.

remove java instance step;
You use this procedure if you want to delete a single SAP instance or all instances of a SAP system.
Note
Make sure that you delete the instances in the following order:
1. Dialog instance if there are any
2. Central instance
3. Central services instance if there is one
1. Stop the SAP instance that you want to delete as follows:
a) Log on as user <sapsid>adm.
b) Execute this command:
stopsap r3 <InstanceName>
2. Stop the sapstart service with the following command:
sapcontrol -nr <InstanceNumber> -prot NI_HTTP -function StopService
3. Stop the saposcol process with the following command:
saposcol -k
4. Remove the instance profiles as follows:
rm /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/profile/<SAPSID>_<InstanceName>_<host_name>
rm /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/profile/START_<InstanceName>_<host_name>

Remove CS2, keep CS3, and install CS4

Before I install upgrade to Design Premium CS4, I want to remove/uninstall CS2 and leave CS3.
CS2 does not have an uninstaller (except for Acrobat) like CS3 does. So do I have to uninstall all CS2 applications, files, prefs, etc manually. If so, how? And what and where are they? Will a third party uninstaller app also do the job?
