I am trying to restore my mac to factory restore, when i get to the restore screen after startup, i choose to restore useing original cd, i press enter and nothing happens, the screen does not change.

I can no longer open any attachments that are sent to me. I click on and get cannot preview (but have had this for ages). I am clicking on download and nothing happens. It does not download. Then most likely it is not caused by Adobe Reader.

Small window says "hasn't backed up in two weeks. Do you wnt to backup now. Ok button does not work and window will not close. Thus I can't open or shut down. Slides don't work.
Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo. -
im trying to restore my mac book pro but when i get to the mac os x utilities screen it wont let me click anything?
I think ive just done it! I think ive been in Safari clicking file, open files, downloads - and thats where it was grey. i just went from the 'Finder' icon and was able to download its doing it now. i think i need some tuition as i dont know if i wasi n the wrong place initially but i could see the downloads just not click on them. If you hold the command key down (the one with the ⌘ on it) and hit the + key you can make the fonts larger. Might help out, I know as I've gotten up there in years I've had to use it more and more
In the mean time while twtwtw mulls this over, can you supply any further information? Did the system crash or didi anything change before you started having the problem? Are you really running 10.5.8 as your profile says?

My ipods screen says connect to itunes, so i connect it and nothing happens the same screen stays on, it will not get off that screen. I know my cord works because when i plug it in it says charging. What do i do?

When I click on a link in an email, it does not automatically open the site page?
When I receive an email with a link in it, if I click on the link to open the page, nothing happens. It does not open the internet to that page.I don't appear to have a toolbar either.

I just updated my iPhone 6 to IOS 8.3. My safari will not let me search anything. If I type in a website URL, the Go button is greyed out. If I type in something to search on google, I press Go and nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am getting a 'MIDI timeout' error message when I open garageband. I am not using any other apps so why is this happening. Restarting does not solve the issue.
I should also add that I am using core audio, no external MIDI device and Garageband v 6.0.5. Thanks

Search does not work. Put something in search, press search and nothing happens
"Search" in the middle of the page does not seem to work. I put something in there, press search and nothing happens. I have to go to the top right hand corner (Google) and put it in there and then it takes me to where i want to go. Once there if i want to use search it works once it has taken me to a web site. How can i fix this?

the web dynpro applications for internal and external candidated existed with eRec 6.0 SP 7 (or 9 depending if we count delivered or working ) so the were available before SES and are working with the old TREX setup as long as the SES business function is not activated.
As a general issue you could check IMG node "Assign Search Template Groups to Search Applications". The web dynpro applications use new CompIds (the ones with capital letters). Check if the Ids are existing (you might need to compare with client 000) and if the Search Mask Group Ids assigned are correct.
Furthermore check the application log (SLG1). If there is some configuration issue in the search masks a log entry should be written. If you need assistance with the log entry, just post it here and we will see if we can help.

top row menu - with an Apple top left ---> iMovie ---> down to preferences ---> Here select to turn on Advanced tools .
Now it will work when You drop a clip onto another IN a MOVIE PROJECT ! (can not be done in Event's)
Next problem I had - was to get right clip onto the other - what was the Background and What was the Green screen - BUT just test - You only got two ways to try out.

I can't set up gmail in my iPad 2. Keep on saying ' can't connect with SSL and ask me whether to connect without using SSL, then I press 'yes' and it said again IMAP is not working and tell me to see network connection and incoming mail server. Nope, doesn't pass verification. I get the spinner for a minute or so, then the alert about setting it up without SSL. Are you suggesting I disable Fetch and Push BEFORE I enter the account details? Because I never get past the account details screen, unless I choose "Set up without SSL" after the warning.

Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

My ipad has the message-This ipad hasn't been backed up in two weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to wi-fi. I press ok and nothing happens. I have it locked, plugged into wall, and conected to wi-fi. How do I get it past ok?
Go to Settings, iCloud, and then Storage and Backup. You will then see a button to backup your iPad. It may be that you have much stuff (i.e. photos, apps) for it to do a full backup but you will be able to tell what the estimated backup should be and what it will consist of so that you can choose to prune down items. If you don't want to backup and get rid of the messages you can just turn backup off from this area as well.
