I just bought an Ipad 2 and have been trying to set up my yahoo email. I continually get the msg, Yahoo! Server Unavailable Please try again later. I am not real savvy with this stuff so I need an answer I can understand, please...

OK this is what I had to do; Not sure why but apple does not support yahoo email on the new ipad 2 so I had to create a gmail account. Deleted my yahoo account on ipad and entered new gmail account on the ipad, and it worked. I can now get email on ipad. Also gamil will import all contacts and mail from yahoo.

I am trying to change country to US for iTunes on my iPad. After I select US in account setting and press NEXT I get message: "Cannot connect to iTunes" and then "The iTunes Store could not process your request. Please true again later". Help please.
downloaded the updated iTunes and that did nothing. I then went through the form about $ very VERY carefully and discovered one field left blank. Once that was filled in, everything worked and I now have my free app.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:

#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.

I upgraded my verizon 4g phone to ios 5 on Thursday. Everything seemed to transfer ok however of my three yahoo accounts, the primary one's password didn't transfer. I went to settings, mail, selected the email address and input the password however it won't take it and gives me the following error "Server Unavailable Please try again later". I have attempted to try again, no good. I have attempted to restore the phone, even worse, then none of the three email accounts (all yahoo) will take the password. As it is the other two accounts currently work on the phone as the phone is after upgrading. Please help!
Yes, someone posted a bypass and it works! Go to settings > mail, contacts, calendars > Add Account > select "OTHER" > add mail account > follow prompts > (IMAP) for incoming mail server host name input imap.mail.yahoo.com, user name and password > for outgoing mail server input smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
I contacted Apple. They are aware of the problem. Apparently the ios5 is having issues with yahoo mail. It has nothing to do with waiting etc... I updated my software on Thursday and have continually been attempting to go through yahoo but it won't work. The Apple technician I spoke to assured me they were working on it and to check with updates regularly to see if they have resolved the problem. Hope this is helpful. -
I've signed up for Office 365 Business Essentials service, and I have trouble sending and receiving emails. All the messages I send to my email associated with this account get a reply with error message

Additionally, all the mails I send from Outlook OWA in a browser and with iPhone app are stuck in Drafts folder and are not sent anywhere.
This is what I tried:
Checked the mail flow in Exchange admin center. There are no mail rules, no inbound or outbound connectors
Checked for DNS issues with my domain by clicking "Manage domains" in Admin center. Message was "barsukov.net domain is set up correctly. No action is
required."
Checked the MX records of my domain, barsukov.net, which point to a correct domain suggested by Microsoft.
Most of the search results related to this error suggest to add entries to hosts file on server with Exchange. This is not applicable to my case, obviously, since I use a cloud version of Exchange.
How to fix this issue?It takes some time for newly added domains to be recognized by the service. If the issue persists, open a case with MS support:

I hit "DELETE THIS ACCOUNT" on my iphone (this is the Yahoo I tried to set up by "picking" it from the list that the iphone5 gives you) and then confirmed to delete everything.
THEN: while in Mail (still in the Settings Section) I tapped on "ADD ACCOUNT..." but this time tapped on "OTHER" and manually put in my yahoo ID and password and I did not even have to go to the SMTP or IMAP incomming/outgoing stuff at all. But I checked it out under the "ADVANCE" tab and it was already correct for yahoo. (ALMOST SEEMED TOO EASY)
Went to my home screen and tapped on MAIL and my yahoo email loaded up just right!
Now, I have no idea if I have any other issues like if I delete mail on the iphone; does it delete properly on my ipad...etc..etc. but one problem at a time is getting fixed. THANKS! -
I have icloud and a new iPhone5 ! They work good , took pictures and a few short movies, plugged in my phone to my iMac transfered Items to iPhoto then inported items to iMovie. when getting to know what i was doing i decided to delete pictures and movies i no longer wanted. when i looked for a few missing items i opend Finder and there some where buyt i had already trashed them and deleted the doubles. Still could not find missing pictures and movies 3 items and today after calling yahoo about a different complant with sending feed back for Yahoo mail Applications login . i opened up Attachments Not the Large Attachments just Attachments and there were the 3 items i had been hunting for to Trash and delete. the mail Attachments file does not have the Option to delet Files and photos and movies. When i tried to Download the 3 items a window shows up that says Error While Downloading the Files, A Server Error has occured, please Try Again later. nothing works how do i remove the Trapped photo and movie Blank Files and trash them? Onece they get into my downloads i can do something with them as i understand. That part of it kind of keeps me in Question also because why should i have to down load my own files of Attachments / Pictures and movies if they are comming from my iMac? How much better is iLife11 then iPhoto08 and iMovie08 . Thanks Greg

This sorted it for me:
Backup your iPhone to iCloud (I believe backing up to iTunes will work too). Now go to "Settings --> General --> Reset --> Erase All Content and Settings" to completely restore your iPhone to factory settings. Assuming you've backed up to iCloud, you'll be asked when setting up your iPhone if you want to restore from an iCloud backup. Choose that option and once your iPhone has restored itself from your backup, this annoying problem will finally be gone! (was for me anyway).
To restore from an iTunes backup, connect your iPhone to your computer, load iTunes. Click the File menu and select Devices > Restore from Back up. -
In accessing AOL email through the full version, I can navigate within my account (old mail, new mail, spam, etc.) fine, but when I try to open an individual email, I get this error message: "There was an error loading the message. Please try again later."
This is identical to a problem someone else was describing in another thread....unfortunately, nothing you suggested to him seemed to be working. I WAS tricked into opening a file attached to an email immediately before this started, so I think its a virus or something. ANYWAY....I AM able to open the messages when I use AOL's basic version. Initially, the problem seemed only to be in Firefox, but I've tried with Internet Explorer now also, and its the same thing, and the basic version is accessible while the full version is still blocked.
On both browsers, following the error message, I can't even click on the individual messages to TRY to open a different one, and there are some not-quite-right boxes and x's and things that appear on the screen that don't belong.
PLEASE tell me you can't make this go away....I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox....that didn't work. I've also fun McAffee, and that didn't change anything.You can do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br>
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br>
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
