Skip the iCloud sign in for now.
Once you reach the home page, go to settings and sign out of FaceTime and Messages. This should also sign you out of iCloud.
Go to iCloud in settings and sign in with the correct Apple ID.
If that does not work
Skip the iCloud sign in
Go to Apple ID.apple.com and sign in
Change your Apple ID to the old one
Delete iCloud account on your device with the old Apple ID and the same password.
Go back to the website, change your Apple ID back to the current one. You will receive an email to verify the account. Verify first.

If you are absolutely positively sure that the password you are typing in is your Apple ID password, I would try once more to enter the password. Be real careful as you type and make sure that Autocorrect is not changing what you are typing.
If no luck try to proceed without entering the password. If you can get the iPad functional go into
Settings > ITunes and App Store and log in there.
If you can log into to your Apple ID there you will also need to go to
Settings > Messages > Send and Receive and enter or check the email at which you want to receive messages,
Also
Settings > FaceTime > check or enter the email address you want to be reached by FaceTime.

How to sign into another AIM account?

I must be missing something obvious, I can't find how to switch AIM accounts in iChat and I can't find the instructions on the Apple support pages.
I have ichat 4 with Leopard and when I launch it signs into one of my AIM accounts automatically. The other AIM accounts are listed in the preferences under Accounts. However, I can't figure out how to sign into one of the other accounts.
Can anyone tell me where/how to switch?

Hi,
If in iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts you list several Accounts/Screen Names then the pane on the right when the Account Info tab is highlighted will have a Box to say "Use this Account".
This will then log those Accounts in to the relevant Servers at Launch (But read below).
In the General Section of the Preferences you can set whether iChat Logs Accounts in at Launch or not.
If you have more than one Buddy List open you can "Hide" the one you don't want by using the Red Button to left of the Window. This will not Quit iChat nor will it Log you out of that Screen Name.
NOTE: If you Quit iChat with Buddy List Hidden it will Remember this as the Window Position - the same as if you move a Buddy List and Quit iChat - It will be in the same place you left it.
Use the Window Menu to bring On-line Accounts listed Buddy Lists back into view.

Can't sign into my AIM account

I just credited a $50 gift card to my AOL account, tried to buy an album, and it prompted me for my AOL account and password. Typed them in and... apparently they don't work any more. Tried multiple times with no success... Did I just get robbed of $50?
I have not forgotten my password/account name. I can sign onto AIM just fine. It's just in iTunes that I'm having a problem.

I was having the same problem.. I used my Aim email address to access iTunes.. but when i did it said that my AOL account was disabled. and i had to make a new apple ID which was fine.. but when i tried to do that like 50 times it kept saying it was not valid..
Anyway this might sound silly.. but i wasnt logged on to my AIM.. and when i did , i was able to access itunes and buy songs.. not sure if this would help you but it helped me..

If you are trying to create an account and it is saying invalid email or email already in use, it means that you have a snapfish account. In that situation, you will want to go to http://www.snapfish.com/ and click the login button in the top right hand corner of the page. When it prompts you to enter your email address and password, click the "Forgot your password?" link and enter your email address. They will send you a email with a temporary password and a link to change the password. After you change the password, go back to http://www.eprintcenter.com/ and log in with your email address and the password you just created.
