What haven't you backed them up? You should always have a back up of any important material on your Mac. Make one now:
Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate

I am trying to split a document into multiple files and it won't let me

I have opened my file in Adoble Acrobat Pro, for which I have a year subscription, and the option to split the document is gray (not applicable). Why would this not be an option? This file contains multiple docs that were merged into one for ease while emailing. Now I need to split them back up. Shouldn't I be able to do this with Acrobat Pro?

It sounds like the file may have security applied to prevent alteration. Do you see "Secured" in the document's title bar?

I have CIN configured in my pricing procedure and I am doing the complete sales process Order>>Delivery>>Billing
At the time when I am saving my billing document system is showing a pop up message
u201CPrint excise invoice in series grp XYZ using J1IP for billing Document 99988811u201D
But when I am trying to display the billing document by using T Code: VF01
The system is displaying u201CBilling Document 99988811 does not existu201D.
Please help me!

Check any automated mail came to id (used to create VF01) - Message sub will be UPDATE WAS TERMINATED
and shows error
Error Info... 8I 336: Error in allocating Excise invoice
In that case
1. in T code: SNRO
Obejct : J_1iexcloc
for the plant series group
2. T code : SNRO
object : J_1iintpr2
for the plant Excise group
3. T code : SNUM
Object : J_liintnum
Maintain 01 - 2011 - 00001 - 10000000
And then create VF01 again and check in VF03, even then it says Document does not exist
ONLY THEN CHECK
Go to the customer master and check what is the country mentioned in the Customer master for the customer
If it is other that India this error may come.

Invalid Photoshop Document PLEASE HELP

Yesterday night I was painting a picture on Photoshop, and I saved then closed my laptop to go to bed. Today I tried to open the file again, but it said that Photoshop could not complete my request due to it being an invalid document. I am both shocked and sad by this event because I don't know how to fix it, It will not open with programs such as paint and I've checked the properties and everything seems fine. Someone please help! I don't know what to do :C

You may have saved the file with the wrong extension. (saved a PSD, but with a .tif extension for example.) If this is the case, you should just be able to rename the file with the extension of the format the file was actually saved as and it will open okay.

ORDDoc - Loading Word Document - Please Help

I am trying to upload the word document (doc format) to the table i have in oracle database. The table has the column of type OrdDoc.
I am using Intermedia Java API to load the word file from my local system to the database. The upload is happening successfully but when i try to retreive the document i see that its empty and even the properties (mimetype, format) of the document are null.
I would appreciate if anyone of you could please tell me what am i doing wrong and how can i upload the file correctly.
Below is more information about table structure and also the java code.

PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT AM I DOING WRONG IN ABOVE CODE.
ABOVE Code doesnt throw an error when executed but when i try to retireve the properties of the document that gets loaded in to the DocTable all i see is null values and 0 content length.

Thanks for the reply.
In my example the reason i did not invoke setProperties() method is because the setProperties method exposed in OrdDoc class is not same as the setProperties method in OrdAudio or OrdImage.
In OrdDoc class setProperties(byte[][] ctx,boolean setComments) takes two arguments where as setProperties() in OrdAudio and OrdImage does not take any arguments.
byte[ ] ctx[ ] = new byte [4000][1];
When i tried to use setProperties(ctx,true) in OrdDoc i was getting an error.
Can you please tell if this is the correct way to invoke setProperties on OrdDoc in Java Program?
Regarding the list of format that Intermedia Understands, the Appendices A, B and C in Intermedia Refererence talks only about Audio, Image and Video. It doesnt have any details about Document (pdf, txt, doc) files. Can you please tell where can i look for the list of formats that intermedia understands for OrdDoc?
Since the dataType is OrdDoc in my table. How do i check the LOB length?
I tried it using Intermedia Java API by calling getContentLength method after retreiving the OrdDoc column from resultset but it has a value of '0'. So am not sure why the document is not getting loaded.
Please help me resolve this issue.

Hi. Last week, in this hot weather, my ipod (8gb, 4g) started flickering , screen went white and then it died! Left it off for 24 hrs to cool down and eventually it powered up again. Thing is, I needed to charge it and so put it on a dock but it wouldn't charge. Tried a diff dock, ac charger and apple usb cable to my laptop and nothing. Battery nearly completely drained, just get the flashing battery with lightning symbol when I press the on button. Not recognised by itunes or my computer and all the advice says to charge it and try again but mine doesn't seem to be charging despite being on a charger for several hours! Tried pressing on and home keys together for diff periods of time (up to 5 mins once) but still nothing. Not even getting to the apple logo stage Can someone out there please help me??

PDF files don't open I have tried EVERYTHING to no avail please help

In the last couple of weeks I cannot open PDF files in Firefox. They open fine in Internet Explorer. I have been on the support forum now for over 2 hours and tried EVERYTHING suggested to no avail. It appears this is a common problem.

Internal Error Occured with time split...please help

During delta data load to the cube I am getting error 'Internal Error Occured with time split' in processing and data is coming till PSA and got error in PSA.There is no field found that is time dependent and I am unable to fix it in PSA by editing data too.
Please help me out.

May be the infoobject you used to derive the date/time field is not the correct one. I will double check that mapping. Also, it may be worth looking at the following thread.

IMovie unexpectedly quitting while trying to save...PLEASE HELP!

I have been trying to save a movie in iMovie HD for almost a week now, and every time I try to save it, the application quits for no reason.
I am saving it by going under share>expert settings and keeping the settings the same as they have been; I have saved many movies this way before.
I don't know what to do, I feel like I've tried everything to get it to work, and now I just really need help. There is no reason for the application to quit like it has been, and it's starting to aggrivate me. I'm probably going to need this application for school this fall, so please please PLEASE help!

Repairing permissions is an important part of regular maintenance, and should always be carried out both before and after any software installation or update.
Go to Disk Utility (this is in your Utilities Folder in your Application folder) and click on the icon of your hard disk (not the one with all the numbers).
In First Aid, click on Repair Permissions.
This only takes a minute or two.

If you were having any serious problems with your Mac you might as well complete the exercise by repairing your hard disk as well. You cannot do this from the same start-up disk. Reboot from your install disk (holding down the C key). Once it opens, select your language, and then go to Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Select your hard disk as before and click Repair.
Once that is complete reboot again from your usual start-up disk.

Trying to download MSN messenger please help

I have just bought a Mac book Pro and am clueless on how to use it. I am also useless on computers and have no idea what I'm doing.
I have been trying to download Lime wire and MSN messenger but have been told I need to download a compression file. I downloaded Stuffit Expander but I still am unable to download MSN and Limewire. It simply says:
"The Limewirewin.ex does not appear to be compressed or encoded. It is adviced that you obtain further information about the contents of this file from the sender or provier of the file."
No idea what this means please help me, and make it simple please!!!

yesterday i tryed to sownload the new software OS5 for my iPhone and after waiting the proccess to end, suddenly a message appeares saying the iphone wont restore!
after that the iphone stop working at all and not showing the home screen to me !
just it works by showiin the apple logo then a loading process that works for ever till the barrerry ends.
so please help meand can i fix it here or i have to go to a maintinace shop

Connect the charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes before you try to turn it on. Then let it charge untill full. The iPhone (or iPad) need at least a little charge before you can turn it on.
