Let me also say that this has been functioning this way out of the box...this is not new or a result of cookies or a full cache.

Please tell us you iMac model and the Mac OSX version you run. iMacs have been in continuous production since 1998 in four broad families and hundreds of variants. Without knowing your specific Mac type, someone trying to help might give you advice inappropriate for your model.
A good place to start to determine in which family yours resides is to do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu (left end of menubar) to get this window:
Note I've indicated two entries with red arrows. Please tell us what your computer shows for "Version" under OSXn and for your processor.

iDVD can only use your startup hard disk for the "scratch space" it needs for calculations during the encoding process. 25 GB is a good average requirement, but a large project (3 or 4 hours of content) might require more.
To free up space, you will have to move items to an external hard drive and/or delete items you no longer want.
Please note that iDVD can't use and external hard drive for this "scratch space".

I have uninstalled the software and re-installed it, Tried to open it as Administrator and it still hangs up with the Adobe banner (the picture) being displayed. Nothing happens. When I click on anything I get the message that Lightroom is not responding. I have asked to have a new catalog created for Lightroom 6............Please help.

It is Ideal to install Creative Cloud app , if you are using Adobe apps.
Creative Cloud is nothing but an updated version of Adobe Application manager. Adobe Application Manager is required for different purposes like Activation, Update.process and installation processes.etc
Adobe application manager must be up to date , that brings to Creative Cloud application which is the updated version .
No need to Sign in and all , just keep it install, if you are not okay with installing Creative Cloud app. it's okay , you can still have Adobe Application Manager only.

Can anybody out there give me any clues as to why my apple ipod won't allow my remaining 2.5 gb of ipod space to download anymore of my cd's. I am using Itunes library which also doesn't seem to accept the cd's even though they are legitimate in every way and are not homemade.

Did you try deleting the mail account, then adding it back? I've read a lot of times that is what needs to happen in order for it to work properly.

Attempt to restore your iOS device two more times. If the issue is still unresolved, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
