I am trying to sync my iPod to my iTunes on my netbook

iTunes on my netbook seems to have stopped recognizing my old iPod, so it is bringing up the new iPod tutorial when I connect it. However, I just get to the second page ("Sync with itunes") and can't move past it. There is no button to continue or close, and it won't let me sync. Unplugging and re-plugging in the ipod just brings up the same screen, as does restarting itunes and my computer.

I'm having sync issues too since I've updated to 11.0.4.  My ipod 160 will no longer sync properly or will hang when attempting to sync yet my 4th gen touch doesn't have any problems.  I am thinking about uninstalling it and rolling back to an older version of itunes.
