I am trying to sync my yahoo contacts with my Macbook Pro

I am running OS X Mavericks and I am trying to sync my Yahoo address book with my MacBook Pro.
I keep getting this error message......
"The operation couldn’t be completed. (CoreDAVErrorDomain error 3.)"
I could do it before I upgraded to Mavericks.
Any suggestions???
I've been searching the forums and Google for a ggod few hours trying to find an answer, but with no luck.

If you are trying to activate your iPhone you need to use iTunes.
There's no need to "pair" an iPhone with a Mac. Syncing, restoring, backing up, apps/ music / photos etc., is all done with iTunes.

Your iphone will be erased and the content replaced with the content from the new computer. You need to amke sure that everything is on the new computer.

THANK YOU! I have been using companion link up until you posted this. This makes it so much easier to keep my business contacts on my phone. Much faster too! How do I sync my iPhone Contacts with my Macbook Contacts?

I know I am supposed to be able to use iCloud to sync the two Contact address books together, however it definitely isnt syncing them. It's almost like managing two seperate Contacts. I have iCloud turned on on both. On my iPhone Contacts is selected. On my Macbook for some reason it shows my iCloud account twice, but it still doesn't seem to be syncing. Newer contacts I place on my iPhone do not go on to my Macbook when I sync both devices and vice-versa. Anyone know a fix for this? It is a bit tedious to manually enter my contacts multiple times.

Macbook: Contacts > Preferences > Accounts. It has iCloud listed twice there.
It states I can delete the account from the Internet Accounts, however it is only listed there once and when I do delete it and re-add it, it is the same.

- You can only sync with one iTune library but you can manually music music and vides with different computers. To do so go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.

Why do I lose some of my contacts when syncing my iPhone 4 with my MacBook Pro?

If I connect my iPhone 4 to my MacBook Pro using the lead a few of the contacts on my phone are wiped, but not on my MacBook. Text messages etc are still on there but it just states the number it came from not the person's name. Why does it do this? Why does it only happen to a few numbers? What do I do to stop it?!

i think is because when you snyc for the last time you doesnt save your informations on your computer and, for one reason your Macbook Pro dellect all the thing who was not saved.. (its happening to me and, the losted information never will be back.. i'm sorry..) :/

Syncing an Mac Mini with a Macbook Pro Over Wifi

I'm setting up my new office and I've got a Mac Mini I've had for several years and a Macbook Pro that I use at home. I travel quite a bit and it would be really nice to have my Mac Mini and my Macbook synced.
I'd like to work all day on my Mac Mini, then when I get home, be able to experience the exact same desktop on my Macbook as I had on my Mac Mini.
Is there a way to get the two syncing to the same backup? That way if I edit a document at the office, I can back the computer up, go home, sync my Macbook and continue working on that same document. I could then back it up and in the morning, again continue my work on the Mac Mini.
Currently I'm taking my Macbook Pro back and forth. It's really getting worn out with all the travel.
