I am trying to sync videos to my iPhone4S, but itunes is not Syncing them
I selected some of my videos to sync...some are short...some are full length movies. When I select them, I can see the capacity space increase for Videos, but when I click on SYNC, all the videos in the Capacity disappear and nothing syncs....

My problem - when syncing and error messages comes up: iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone because an error occurred while margin data." Before I started to resync calendars one by one as suggested in the troubleshooting article, I remembered something that came up in a sync when I first attempted : a 'which one do you want to keep' message about a repeating calendar event, which came up with three options, one from Calendar, and two from iCal on the phone. I deleted that event, then went through the calendar resync one by one, and all seems OK now.
In Music there is a way to find 'ghost' items that show up as grayed-out on the menus, so that you can try to reassociate or delete them. It would be nice to have a similar way to work with Calendar!

My iphone screen has gone completely blank I have tried holding down both the sleep and home buttons and nothing has happened and I have tried to connect it to my laptop but itunes will not recognise, what can I do ?
have you tried charging the device ?
if so and it still does not work you can try a Forced Recovery..
by holding the HOME button down and plugging it into your computer at the same time..

I just restored my iphone4 in iTunes ( after not syncing it for about three months) and it wiped all my texts and contacts and I think restored it to three months ago. It seems it erased all texts and recent contacts since three months. Any way of undoing this? thanks in advance, Greg
Only if you have a more recent backup with which to restore from - if you've only got the one from 3 months ago then you will be limited to what was on that.

I was Updating my Iphone 4s to iOS 6 through itunes. an error happended now iphone stuck on connect to itunes logo screen . tried tukrning on and of it connects but itunes does not recognize so i can restore .. any ideas?
Dont know if accidently fixed it or not i got it to be recogniced by itune im restoring it now. i held the power/sleep button till turned off. then while holding the home button under the screen connected it to the usb wire .. also i change the usb port i was using on my computer dont know if it was luck or what but glad i got my phone back.

My iPod will open iTunes, but iTunes will not sync
My iPod will no longer sync in iTunes. It will automatically open iTunes when I connect the cable, but iTunes does not see it. The PC sees it, but iTunes does not.
I have recently restored my laptop to factory original (Dell, running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, 8GB RAM).
I have re-installed iTunes.
I have switched to a new sync cable.
I am using a built-in USB port, not through a hub. This worked once, but iTunes locked up. When I re-started it, it no longer saw the iPod.
Any help appreciated.The point is that there are four i product users for one computer in my house, and not everyone wants the same music on their device. Like I said before, the ipod is not syncing to the new library even though I plug it in when the new itunes library is pulled up. It keeps syncing to the old library...

On your iPad and iPod touch tap Settings > Store
Make sure Music is switched On under Automatic Downloads.
Now restart your iPad and your iPod touch.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Trying to update ipad to iOS 5, but itunes is not letting me.
I synched up my ipad to itunes and backed things up. I went to the iPad tab and click the update button, but every time I do, it tells me that iTunes 10.3 is the current version. I'm not trying to update itunes, im trying to update my ipad! I don't know what to do!
What is the iPad tab? Where is it?
When the iPad is connected to your computer, while iTunes is running and after you have selected the iPad under Devices, you can click on Check for Update in the Summary Window on the right.

ITunes could not sync contacts to the iPhone...the iPhone canceled the sync
My phone refuses to sync ANY contacts. When iTunesis performing the Sync process, it ends stating that "iTunes could not sync contacts to the iPhone "MyPhone" because the iPhone canceled the sync."
This happened originally when I was running OS 3.0. As a fix, I upgraded iTunes and then my iPhone to the latest versions - v9.0.1.8 and v3.1.2 respectively.
I just finished doing a "reset all content and settings" and still no dice. Unfortunately, this won't allow me to sync until after I restore a backup, so I'm sure I'm bringing corrupt data back into the phone.
I tried changing my contacts to sync to my Windows Address Book, instead of the GMail that I use. No luck.
HOW can I simply ERASE the contact database on my iPhone so I can get it to sync again?...and an update.
I tried manually adding some contacts to the phone and they just don't save. The contact list stays empty. -
ITunes does not sync properly anymore
When I try sync my iPhone 5 (iOS7.0.3) with iTunes 11.1.2.31 it syncs my apps and co. but actually does not sync my music.
The music I bought with iTunes is automatically downloaded on all my Apple devices. But when I add those ne songs to playlists on my PC and then connect my iPhone and start the sync, all steps are done, but in the music app, nothing changed. The playslists, to which I add the new songs, still remain same on the iPhone, as if I'd never changed anything...
Can anyone help me with my problem or does have the same problem?So I've been looking for a solution for days. There has been so many problems for the past week.
- Some songs play counts going up by 6 plays each time I sync
- Songs not transferring from PC to phone
- Songs appearing on the phone with download icon
- When viewing 'What's on this phone' on itunes songs have the 'grey dotted circle of death' next to them
Now I've deleted an album I bought the other day from iTunes from my PC and it doesn't even appear in my transactions from the past few days, And when I view it in the store it says purchased but there is no option to download it again.
WHAT A MESS! Apple please fix this ASAP. There are numerous threads with issues that I have stated above and there is not ONE solution. -
HT1353 itunes will not sync with my ipod.
My 5th gen. ipod Shows it is connected to itunes but itunes will not sync. with it and when using the itunes connectivity test for usb it states not connected can anyone help?

I purchased a video from iTunes but it will not sync to my iPod. I get a message stating that the video "was not loaded to the iPod because iyt cannot be played on this iPod." I tried to use the "create an iPod version" but the command is grayed out
I was refering to the "sample rate", normally 44.1 KHz, the iPod might not be able to play tracks with a non-standard rate. Otherwise I'm not sure what the issue might be.

Can't sync apps, music or videos on my iPhone4 with iTunes 10.2.2
I just updated iTunes to 10.2.2 (on 10.2.1 everything was going smoothly) and now it seems that i can't sync anything to my iPhone 4 (fw 4.3.2). I'm using a Windows 7 32-bit OS.
After selecting any app from the apps tab, iTunes will display the next messages:
- It will sync the phone just after pressing the apply button;
- Prepairing to sync;
- Copying "Angry birds" (this lasts for like 1 second);
- Determining apps to sync;
- Finishing sync.
After this process, on my iPhone, there will not be any new apps installed or any other files (music, videos) copied.
Any ideeas why is this happening?Same Problem but with my iPod Touch 4th gen and that I can't sync my music. I tried re-installing itunes, Creating new playlists, added the music to the playlist then synced but it will not sync my music. I get 'determining tracks to sync' but skips to 'finishing sync'. I can take music off my iPod but can't add it. Fix this apple, this is very frustrating!
