I am trying to transfer my old photos and videos from 3gs to pc help!

ive got my old iphone 3gs that i am trying to get the photos and videos transferred to my laptop but i have attached it to my laptop using the usb cable but it just wont show anything in any folders to allow me to import them to my pc. I dont have icloud as yet i need to upgrade to windows 7 or 8 as i dont use my laptop much but ive got a iphone 5 now which i use i want to keep my old photos and videos from my old 3gs so i can sell it.

You don't need to look through iTunes. On the device, are these photos/video located in the camera roll? If not, then they are synced from the computer. Connect the iPhone to the computer and iTunes. Go to the Photo tab and look to see what you have checked. You should see something checked there. Just uncheck what is marked and sync again.

I am quite confused with how iCloud and Photo Stream work to transfer photos and videos from my iPhone to my PC. I recently ran out of my space on iPhone so I need to delete all of my pictures and videos but I first want to confirm that they have all been transferred over to my PC. I have iCloud setup but here lately I have been getting the warning message that iCloud could not perform it's backup because I was out of space on iCloud. I had not worried about it since I figured that all of my pictures and videos were on my iPhone anyway and the only reason I would need them on iCloud would be for a backup. I found the Photo Stream folder on my PC... Is everything automatically added to this when I connect my iPhone to my PC? If I delete something off of my iPhone is it deleted from the Photo Stream folder on my PC? Please help and thank you! I just don't want to lose any of my stuff!

You don't move them to iTunes or an iTunes account.

I recently got my iPod exchanged at the Apple Store. I restored it to my old iPod settings and everything restored: videos, apps, documents, everything EXCEPT photos and videos I had taken using the camera on my OLD iPod.
I'm nearly positive the photos and videos are stored on my computer somewhere, but they aren't syncing onto my new ipod.
In Summary. I took pictures on iPod #1. I synced iPod #1. I restored iPod #2. The pictures from iPod #1 don't appear on iPod #2.
Can you help me?

I've seen posts before from users that report their computer suddenly stopped seeing new photos on their device. I'm not sure what the solution would be though. At least we know it's not a connectivity or usb device driver issue.
You could try transferring your photos (and videos) to your computer wirelessly using an app like PhotoSync. Once transferred, delete them from your phone to eliminate a possible data corruption issue that may be causing this problem. Then, if you still want the photos on your phone, you could then transfer them back using PhotoSync.

Two steps:
you can first transfer photos from iPhone to computer and then drag them to the external hard drive. For your iTunes library, you can follow:
1. Quit iTunes.
2. Locate your external drive.
Mac: On the desktop or Finder sidebar.
3. Locate your iTunes folder:By default, the iTunes folder is located in:
Mac: Finder > username > Music
4. Drag the iTunes folder to your external drive. This can take a while if you have a lot of items.
6. When the transfer is complete, your iTunes Library will have been successfully copied to your external drive.
