Goto Home > Pictures > iPhoto Library...
Right Click and choose Show Package Contents...
Find the Folder called iPod Photo Cache and drag it to the Trash...
Close the Finder Window..

Yep. Nothing happens at all. Windows tries to execute the uninstaller, but I don't get any other screen and all activity stops for the MSI. I monitored it in Process Monitor and the MSI executable appears, but is quickly ended, like it couldn't find anything or something.
It's as if windows has a blank entry in Programs and Features, because it used to show the size of the Adobe application in the "Size" column. Now it's just blank. Link to screenshot below:

Note the install date. That's when I was able to successfully reinstall it. Now I can't even do that. I should also mention I tried Revo Uninstaller. It deleted one small registry key, but nothing changed.
By the way, is the CS cleaner supposed to ask for a disc in the drive when you run it? It refused to run unless I had one in it, so I used my install dvd.

This is to do with the .htaccess file on your server.
You either need to deal with this and open it with an html editor or change your web host.
Do a search of this forum and there are plenty of posts that relate to parse error and .htaccess pages. Have a look on the right hand side of this post and you will see similar ones like yours.

I tired to update my flash player and now its all messed up, i could not successfully update it so i tried uninstalling it and now it says in the internet options under manage-addons section that my shockwave object has no publisher where it used to say adobe... and i tried to reinstall the flash player and i keep getting that same error message? can anyone help me?

You can also download the FULL installer there to reinstall, but follow the instructions from Microsoft to fix your Standalone installer first.

Trying to backup one of my iPhoto libraries I keep getting a error message that basically says that the file could not be backed up because there is another file on the external drive with the same name, etc. There is no other file.

While trying to copy one of my iPhoto libraries to an external hard drive I get the following error message "You can’t copy “iPhoto Library old” because it has the same name as another item on the destination volume, and that volume doesn’t distinguish between upper- and lowercase letters in filenames." There is no other file on the external drive with this name. I have asked this question before and was told that there are some duplicate photos (files) in my library and I needed to go to "show file contents" and look at certain files to find duplicates and delete the duplicates. I did all of this and the library will still not copy and always stops copying in the exact same place on each attempt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You've been deleting your actual Photos.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
Best way forward now is to recover the surviving Originals from this library and start over from scratch.

I keep getting an error message while trying to install itunes on my new windows 7 (64 bit)

During the install i receive this error message.
Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
It gives me the options to Abort, Retry, or Ignore.
I have attempted to retry and it just comes back. I have tried to ignore this and the install does not complete properly.
I am using firefox to do this download. Could this be causing a problem.
What do I need to do?

Please try this sequence:
1) Remove AppWorld from your BB
KB10040 How to view or remove installed applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
If it requests that you reboot the BB, do so
2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot (power on, remove battery, wait, insert battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.
3) Install (on your BB) a fresh copy of AppWorld

Again, if it requests to reboot, do so.
4) Do another Batt-Pull reboot
5) See if it now works.

I have used Expedia many times in the past without difficulty. Recently, however, whenever I try to search for flights on Expedia, I get a message that says "Sorry, we're having a problem on our end. Please try your search again later". But I'm able to search without problem from other computers. I've cleared my cache, cookies, and browsing history. I'm using the most recent version of Firefox. I had let some people borrow my laptop recently to check gmail accounts, but I've logged them out of everything. Any suggestions?

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

I've downloaded the Adobe AIR Installer, but the installer always indicates that it will update Adobe AIR
Installed: 1.5.2.8870
Update: 1.5.3.9130
A spotlight search for these two log files produces nothing.
I also followed your instructions here:
Double-click the Terminal application located at /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.
Type cd /Users/userName.
Type echo > .airinstall.log and/or echo > .airappinstall.log "
But terminal replies with "No such file or directory"

what a long post....Apple, btw, does not read this stuff, so ranting, raving, and complaining here might make you feel good, but it does no good at all. That being said, I, too have a Mac Pro Quad Core Xeon with 6 gigs of ram and an nVidia 8800 GT graphics card (not as good as yours, alas) and I've had no problems at all with it. Yes, it doesn't have Thunderbolt, but maybe we Mac pro owners will get lucky and someone will come out with an adapter (probably not). No, you probably don't have to throw away your Mac Pro, but if you do, I'll take it, for a small "recycling" fee >:-) That was a joke. Yes, the Mac Pro's future isn't quite clear, YET. Hopefully that will improve very soon. As for not being able to upgrade to Mountain Lion. Don't worry about that too much, Nobody is forcing you to do that. Your Mac Pro won't quit working if it isn't installed. From what I've heard, you should give the new OS a chance, and wait to get it, in case there might be some bugs, or stuff not working with the new OS, which has been known to happen. Yes, we Mac Pro owners don't like being treated like mushrooms-kept in the dark, and being fed......... but Apple is Apple and it will do what it does, and there is nothing you or me can really do to change that. All I can say is....trust, have faith, be patient, go for a walk, do something else to take your mind off of this problem.
