Click on iTunes and do comand Q. Be sure you are quitting iTunes to finish update and not just closing the screen.

TS1424 I have repeatedly reinstalled the iTunes software on my PC, but I keep getting an inproperly installed notice, that also says I won't be able to burn or import the files. I'm at a loss, help??

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:

I deleted all of the symantec software on my macbook, but I am getting an error message saying to run live update or reinstall. I don't know why this is happening, I heard I may still have a file but I have looked and cannot find one. How do I fix this?

If there is a leftover file, where do I find it. And is my computer at risk?

I tried doing both, I couldnt find either symantec or live update in applications or when I searched through finder. I went to the activity monitor and found symantec and quit the process but the next time i logged on to my computer, it came back. this is what the error message looks like

Check for any supplemental updates for the OSX and install it, it will contain the app store application in it as well as the latest version of itunes

I am also having this same problem. I have updated my computer. I have downloaded the complete brother driver package from Apple as well as the drivers from Brother. As far as I can tell, all have been installed successfully. It is only when I try to ADD the printer do I get that message. Both my roomate and I have Macbook Airs so we cant use the disk which came with the printer. This is irrelivant anyway as the drivers have been successfully downloaded and installed. I do not recommend you to download the Windows support software through Boot Camp Assistant.
Instead, you can download the Windows support software for most Macs from the Apple website. Go to this website, look for your MacBook Pro model and the Windows version you want to install, and follow its steps.

Okay, you are correct the call is not supposed to ring in. Have you done any troubleshooting on the phone? First off, try power cycling the phone. Turn the phone off, then back on again. If that does not work, then try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. See if that changes things. Is the caller using the exact number that you blocked, or is it possible they are using another number, or have restricted the Caller ID?
