Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

And if You change view - in main "window/view field" so that You see the box-plot structure.
No exclamation marks there either ?
and non at the front page ?
iDVD do not copy Your material - only points to where it is stored. So if on any external hard disks, USB-memories, CDs or DVDs are missing - assetts are broken.
Or if You changed location of any material or directed iPhoto or iTunes or GarageBand to a new Library - Then iMovie/iDVD also get's lost.

I Tried for three days to download iOS 6 and kept getting error 1403. I finally went to the apple store and they couldn't figure it out either.
I finally got it to download and all I did different from the other 100 times was I went into settings and on the Bluetooth setting I put NO. Not sure if that's what did it but that was the only thing different that I did.

I bought an iPod Shuffle today and trying to sync 1 audiobook. Keep getting error message. If I try again, it looks like it's ok but then the device won't play it... What can I do?

I've tried a lot of the stuff mentioned at that link and elsewhere, modifying host files etc. trying to downgrade my iPhone 4 back to 5.1.1 no luck , apple has locked up 5.1.1 for my phone and iPad . one post said I'm "stuck with iOS 6" darn I should have been more careful. I have the 5.1.1 Ispw on my MacBook its a permissions thing I don't understand. I'm having problems burning discs,whether it is photos or music i keep getting error messages,i have been using the same brand for years and have faith in them and this problem has only started since I got a new hard drive installed,any thoughts ? thanks

at the moment i have had a disc in for at least 20 mins and it's still 'finishing' sems a bit long for 17 songs . also the fan is on almost all of the time , maybe that has a bearing .. ? I'd appreciate some help here as it is getting increasingly frustrating . alao when i put in the discs that i have used they do not register on the desktop . so i have been wasting lots of discs doing this .

For an issue like that you should either call the Apple help line or (and this is the option I use most often, and with good success) go to apples support page. There you can search for answered questions and if you dont find an answer then you can write a question and hope it gets answered. There are many people on that page that are quite good at trouble shooting and suggesting fixes. To find the support page go to apple.com and in the upper right side of the tool bar of Apples page theres the word support, the rest is easy. Good luck.
