I am trying to use two very long (2.5 hour HD) clips in multicam but FCPX only places one clip right after the other and does not create multicam. Is there a limit on clip size for multicam?
I am trying to use two very long (2.5 hour HD clips) and a 2.5 hour audio clip in multicam. One clip and the audio will ceate a multiclip but two clips will not. FCPX simply adds the second clip on at the end of the first. There must be some sort oflimitation on clip length. Is that correct and if so what is it?
The Angle field is not shown in the Inspector's default Basic View. With the clip selected in the event viewer, select the Info tab in the inspector. Change the view of the inspector from the default Basic View to the General View to be able to see the Angle field.
I assume you want to use the audio to do the sync. If FCP X has trouble syncing the audio, you can set a marker at the same chronological point in each clip before creating the multiclip. Then set Angle Syncronization to First Marker on the Angle and keep Use audio for syncronization checked. Your marker only needs to be close to get FCP X started. It will then use the audio to get final sync.

How to get a question in the course placed anywhere in the course and does not appear in the quiz result or total number of questions. Pretest would work except it can't go anywhere in the course (at least for me it can't)
Use a normal question, and do not add the score to the total score. That will give you a correct score at the end. But the total number of questions, that system variable will still take into account all questions. You'll need a user variable, and calculate its value by subtracting 1 from the system variable cpQuizInfoTotalQuestionsPerProject. Same for the progress indicator if you want to show it?

If you want to allow Review, you'll have to tweak as well. You didn't specify the version, and all those questions I now mentioned.
And my approach, since you talk about only one question: create a custom question, because you'll have total control then. -
In syncing my Iphone 5 for the first time, Facetime disappeared. Although it shows up under apps in the settings menu, the application itself does not seem to be there. What happened? How can I fix this?

After installing all Mac update, used Bootcamp to create a Windows 7 drive. Everything went fine to a point. While in my Mac OS i can see the windows partition just fine and see/edit documents. However, when in the Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, I cannot see the mac os in my computer at all.
Can someone please help this mac owner newbie? This process worked fine on my mac mini and i have no troubles. It is just on my new iMac that it wont work/show the highlighted paragraph above
Any ideas and/or help would be greatly appreciated.I understand that much. On my MAC Mini, if you look above at original post, I CAN see both OS while in the Windows 7 partition or the MAC OS. This is NOT the case on my iMac. Again, when in the MAC OS I can see the windows partion and move information between the two that way. When in the WINDOWS partition, the only one that shows is the Windows OS from my computer or network. The only way you can tell its even a MAC is the bootcamp icon in the bottom right corner of toolbar. Both have same version of MAC OS so both should work same way.. When i double click on my computer, it should show both the Windows drive AND the MAC (as does my mini and another iMac 21.5 that i have). This iMac does not do that - only shows windows.

The light on my powercord no longer lights up when I attach it to the macbook and the macbook shows that it is not being recharged. Is it the cord or the attachment on the computer? Is there a way to fix it so that I don't have to buy a new computer?

My Wi-Fi may have shut off for a moment and a "pop-up" from the game came up and said "the purchase could not be made at the apple store, please try again at a later time"

While I agree that it would be nice if it was easier to transfer media from your Apple devices they should never be used as the sole location for any of your media. That is as it should be, you can only have one default browser and one default profile, If Firefox is already open you will use the profile that is in use, unless you open with -no-remote on the start

Recently, whenever I double click a vcard file, the only option available is to save the vcard. I used to be able to automatically open vcards with Outlook, now this option is not accesible. I reviewed the file type associations within the control panel of Windows 7 and Outlook is the default program for .vcf files.

if you want to get a clean OS on your machine now, do this
reboot holding down command/option/R (hoping your machine supports this)
open disk utility, erase your HD so you have a single mac journaled partition
choose install OSX on this HD
let it run. from what you said, you will be back on lion. -
I cannot connet to Home Sharing on iTunes, so that I can send movies and TV shows to another computer. I cannot find the name of the other computer in the "Library" box on the upper right side of the iTunes screen. Do I need to have the other computer connected to the Cloud?
Mkae sure you have enabled Home Sharing using the same AppleID on both computers.

Since updating to latest iOS safari fails several times a day.
1. Just quits.
2. The items on the reading list will not delete after visited.
3. The screens goes grey when I go to email a reference.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

I tried to update my husbands iphone 4 to ios 6 from ios 4.3.3 That is the only update that showed up on itunes as an availiable update. The download took 3 hrs and after all of that the phone is the same showing no sign of being updated. We did turn it off and back on and still nothing. Can anyone please help and tell me what I need to do to update his phone. He is unable to update or downloaded apps or anything off of itunes at this point.

TammySo what happened to the phone during the process? It should have gone black and restarted a couple of times and there would have been a white progress bar as the update installed. Sounds to me like you've downloaded the update file but not actually installed it. The quickest way to see version of the software is installed is to go to Settings-General-About and check Version.

ThanksActually, Chris, I found that page yesterday on my own doing a search, before I wrote my post. After your instructions didn't work, I found that page and tried deleting the iAdcore.dll and that did not work. When I tried to open it said it didn't have the iAdcore and could not be opened. There was no QTMovieWin there to delete. I again uninstalled everything in the order listed on this new page, because there were 7 things to uninstall (not 5 as your last page suggested). I found that I had iCloud so that was deleted in the proper order. Did not have MobileMe on the computer. Also deleted Apple Application support, which wasn't on your list either. I restarted the computer. I looked for any files on drive C program files as indicated, and did not find any of those files. I went to the iTunes page and downloaded the latest version yet again (maybe the 5th time?). And I got the same notice:
"The iTunes Library.itl cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the iTunes folder in the music folder."
I went to that iTunes folder in the music folder there are a number of iTunes library folders and none of the open except one. The ones that don't open give me the same dialogue box as above. The last folder opens to a page of codes, I guess that's what it is. Gobbeldy gook to me. But that folder is listed at the top in the URL as itTunes Library.xml. I don't see any .itl. Is that the folder I need? And how do I get that??
I don't know if that last paragraph is significant, but I thought I'd include just in case it is.
BTW, can I just download an older version of iTunes? And how can I find it? I still have the old version on my old computer which is at home. Not sure how to get it from that to this one.
