I am trying to write a grep search for the first instance of a word in a paragraph.

How can I identify only the first instance of 'FREE' in a paragraph and apply a style to it, without also styling the 2nd or more instance of the word?

(?i)^(.+?)FREE should find the first instance in a paragraph. The (?i) makes the search case insensitive in case it wasn't typed as all caps, the ? inside the second grouping makes the shortest match for cases when there is more than one instance in a paragraph, and I've not added any quotes since I presumed those aren't actually in the text.
I would deal with the formatting by typing FREE exactly as you want it someplace on the pastebord, then copy to the clipboard. Change to $1~c which replaces the found string with the text found in the first subexpression (.+?), which is the stuff before the first FREE, and the the formatted contents of the clipboard for the FREE.

First we need to check , whether the LAN settings is set to detect settings Automatically or not.
Follow below steps .
1)Open Control Panel and then click on the option "Network and Internet" .
2)Click on Internet options, click on 'Connections' tab.
3)In the 'Connections' tab, select 'LAN' settings, you will be able to view the Local area network settings box.
4)Check the box-"Automatically Detect Settings" and then "uncheck" all the other check boxes like 'Use automatic configuration script', 'Use a proxy server' , Bypass proxy server' ,then click on ok button .
5)Click on "LAN settings" button again , make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is the only option selected, keep the LAN properties window open.
Then launch Premiere Elements 12 and try to sign in.
If the settings were already set like that or you face same issue after signing in , let me know

iPhoto Menu -> Prefences -> Accounts. Delete and recreate your email account.

Click 'Online Services' on the left-hand side
Sign out of our Adobe ID and sign back in.
Try to convert your document again.
If you continue to have trouble, please verify that you can access the service via the web interface. To do this:
Open a browser and navigate to http://exportpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html
Try to log in with your Adobe ID (email address) and password
Once logged in, follow the on-screen prompts to convert a file

Search for the first column in a table?

I have numerous tables that I've setup up with Paragraph, Cell and Table styles. They are linked to Excel files. Every time they are updated everything updates perfectly, except one column. All the columns are right justified, but the first column and because of the Paragraph styles it right justifies everything.
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to search and change all the text in every first column of a table and have them be left justified. The text in the left column has up to 4 different styles on alternating lines or I would just setup a Character style and highlight and change manually.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I am using version CS6 and if there is a way of doing this using the Multi/Find Change plugin, I do have and use that, but I think that is just to run multiple searchs, in a particular order.

@Peter – that can be done by scripting.
See the following code snippet in ExtendScript (file suffix *.jsx, plain text file), that would change all text in every cell of every first column of every table in your active document to left align:

When I try to log in, it tells me this is the first time I have tried using this ID and asks me to register my credit card details. 1500Kbs is 1.5Mbs. That is Kilo bits per second. There are 8 bits to a byte so if you divide 1500 (or 1,500,000) by 8 you get 187500 bytes a second. Divide 3.5GBs (3,500,000,000), that capitol B is for Bytes, by that 187500 you get 18666.666 seconds. Which needs to be divided by 60 to get the minutes and then again by 60 to get the hours.

I use to have a 3Mbs DSL connection and it took me over 3 hours to download Lion. Now that I have a 19Mbs Cable connection it take about an hour to download and install.
So wait it will happen eventually. If you cancel and start again your are still going to wait 5+ hours.

I'm trying to open LR5 from CC for the first time.

I've been runnng LightRoom 4 for the past year. Decided to Check out LightRoom 5. Tired it for 30 days and really liked it. So I decided to upgrade to Creative Cloud and get LR 5 and Photoshop at the same time. The problem is I can;t figure out how to open LR5 now. When I try to open it it askes me for a serial number but when I downloaded Creative Cloud I didn't get any serial numbers. What do I need to do?

Uninstall the LR5 non-CC trial, then login to https://creative.adobe.com/products/ and download and install Lr.
If for some reason LR5-CC doesn’t install right off, then log out of the CC Desktop app, using the Signout button in CC-Desktop Preferences / Account, and reboot, then log back into CC Desktop. The logout/login cycle forces CC Desktop to rescan what is installed locally so it can offer you LR5-CC.
Uninstalling LR5-non-CC and installing LR5-CC won’t hurt the work you’ve done, already, because the programs and the data are stored in two different locations and you’re only replacing the program.

Check your junk mail folder.
Go back to id.apple.com, and choose manage, enter your appleID and password. It will take you to a page where your account info is displayed, and there should be a link to resend the verification email.
