I am trying to download CC 2014 onto a new Mac with Yosemite 10.10.2, newest version, but it will not hold the internet connection for more than a few minutes so the download keeps failing. Can anybody help please. All the other devices in my house are working well, no internet problems at all. Mavericks on my MacBook is fine with the internet. I have CC and LR5.5 on it, I have a subscription.

To get a Windows versions of CS5.5 onto a Mac you would have to try using a Windows emulator such as Bootcamp. CS5.5 does not qualify for a platform swap, so you will not be able to acquire a Mac version of it unless you find someone selling it.

Did you try shutting down the device? Resetting? Disabling iCloud? Disabling auto-update?
I'd find the problem that is keeping the download from proceeding and fix that so that the process can finish...sounds like it may be your connection or a server issue, in which case you may need to wait.

I tried unsuccessfully to download Mountain Lion (installer I suppose) on a MBP 17" running under 10,6,8.
After clicking on the "dowload" buttion, ssurprisingly I vas not asked to pay, the downloading began and lasted deveral hours as apparentlly usual, but when finished I didn't find the downloaded file.
Though ML appears in my bought products list, .
App store app doesn't work correctly any more, for example I can't disconnect.
How to pay for and to reload again ML ?

The ML installatin file "Installer OS X Mountain Lion.app" is inside Applications folder, it is not a ".dmg" file.
I have been able to use it, although I didn't pay for it...??

Take your Mac to a location with a fast, relaible Internet connection that will be all yours during the duration of the download.
If you want to complain, PLEASE call Apple and do so.
Internet only downloads of OS X is completely stupid, it assumes everyone has reliable Internet everywhere and /or no data caps.

Chas50 I would recommend removing the currently installed Adobe Creative software. You can then install the new versions of the Adobe Creative software included with your membership. If it's a fourth generation or earlier model, you need to download iTunes 10.6.3; the newer versions won't run on 10.5.8.
If it's a fifth generation iPod touch, you need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, which requires an Intel Mac, and then run Software Update. This also works with earlier iPods but isn't the best solution.
