I am trying use my new apple itunes account .when i down load itunes on to my windows pc an old itunes is showing up with old music and movies that cant be accessed .i am trying to have a clean slate with out the old user information.

What i am wanting to do is have clean slate showing only my new itunes puchases with out old user downloads.

I'm trying to download an app off of the App Store and the little cloud pops up next to the app I wanna download because I used to have it when I had my old Apple ID. How do I get this off so I can get the app again using my current Apple ID?
Did you create a NEW Apple ID or did you change the email address for your OLD Apple ID? This will affect how you update apps in the future.
Anyway, go to Settings/iTunes&App Stores, log out, then log in with the new ID. -
I have downloaded movies through itunes until the latest version came out. Now the movies will download and then disappear. Everything is up to date so I'm not sure what is wrong. Also I opened my itunes today and over half of my music is missing along with several of the movies that do play. Luckily I have all my music saved, but the movies are completely gone. Does anyone have some ideas that could help me?

If the iPod is dead and you never synced it and you have no backup, say "bye-bye" to the contents.
You can individually download the apps and songs from iTunes without charge provided that you use the same Apple ID. -
I had 12.69$ in my account then when i bought two 99 cent songs, it went down to 2.69$. I bought another 99 cent song and it went down to 69 cents and didnt even give me the song. Today when i signed onto my account I had 61 cents.
Look at your purchase history to make sure nothing is being purchased without your permission.

I get all through the downloading process and move it to my applications. It then ask me if I want to replace the old version with the new one. When I click on replace, a new window comes up with the fact that my computer does have privileges for some of the operations so I cannot complete the process. What really gets me though, is that it still pops up saying I need to download the new version. I do not know what to do.
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

How do I find out where that particular email adress is used so I can delete it there and use it for my new apple-id?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I have downloaded an app on my phone. My husband tried to download the same app on his phone but he used the same apple id as me and it said the app was already installed on another phone and wont install even using a new apple id on his phone. HOw do we get this app onto his phone?
You got the new iphone????? I have same problem. I transferred audiobooks to device to find no audiobooks on device (despite it being in iTunes as if it was). Have you found a solution????? I even tried to change import settings on format transfer but hasn't worked.

When I try to log onto my Apple ID to use facetime, it will not work and tells me to check my connection. I have even tried creating a new apple ID but the same message appears. I do not understand why this is happening, could anyone help me resolve this issue it is very frusterating that I can not enable facetime or imessage.
I could do that, however when I select the icloud button (or whatever the heck it is) I am asked to enter the apple id and password. So if you are suppose to create another one for icloud you'd think it would give you the option at this point which would be logical.

Keep receiving error when trying to use a new Apple ID

I am beyond frustrated and have been working on this for about 2 hours. I don't understand how something so simple is becoming such a nusance. I created a new Apple ID however when trying to log into support, it gives me the phrase listed above. No matter how many times I try to log in, it completely shuts me out. If I use my old ID to log into the Apple ID site and then navigate to support, it logins me in no question.
I have looked at others who have had this issue and it appears to be an email conflict on multiple accounts. However both account use completely different email addresses. Any help is appreciated.
If I could just delete the conflicting account that would alleviate a lot of stress.Is Apple abandoning the forums?

You say "ripped" music. That is not stored on iCloud unless you subscribe to Match. As for iTunes Store purchases:

Select the iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
Of course if you had a backup of your files you would have been back up adn running iTunes by the time you read all this.
