I am unable to complete re-install I-Tunes after I unistalled

Hello Everyone Thank you, for the first time I had to un-install my I-tunes cause it began rebuffing repeatedly, I thought to un-install & just re-install as normal. once I get through the installation it gives you message Thank you for downloading your I-tunes & does not pause (usually no longer than 2min ) then I go onto open My I-tunes & begin re-setting my Music I have bought, all added my own & use the internet Radio. Never had a problem til now. Thank You I sure hope someone is able to please fix this problem.. Take Care

I haven't resized / modified anything since installing Vista on my System. The problem must have incurred when upgrading from Snow Leopard to Maverick.
by the way:
I (just) found out that Windows Vista is booting (automatically) when I insert my original "Mac OS X Install DVD" / 10.6.3 (or my "Applications Install DVD") before starting the MacBook. It will - hwr - not boot without above DVDs in the tray...

Unable to transfer items to I tunes after update

Hi everyone
I have just updated to the latest iTunes and went to transfer some videos and iBook onto my ipad and found I cannot do it any more,I was used to able to just drag them across into iTunes but no more I don't even get an error code ,even if I go the other way on the menu to,add file,or folder it will still not add them

I tried deauthorizing my computer, then reauthorize it again; that didn't help. When I downloaded a previous purchase (actually a free app) to my iTunes library, and then checked the library, I discovered that the app that I had just downloaded was the only one in the library! It appears that the apps in my library may have gotten lost as a result of a previous upgrade.
Since I have over 100 apps on my iPhone, it would be impractical to download all of them to my library. And even if I were to take the time to download them all, that still wouldn't resolve the problem as to why the iTunes system is telling me that my computer is unauthorized when, in fact, I authorized it.

Unable to COMPLETE install of iPhoto 09 on Power PC G4 - specs OK

I have a very old PowerPc G4 (512RAM), 1,25Ghz, OS X 10.5.8 which my kids use for their photos.
I am unable to complete the install of iPhoto 09 from the iLife 09 update disc I purchased in the late 2000's.
The disc works perfectly and I get as far as slecting the drive on which I want to install iPhoto. I hit the install button and the beachball appears for 5 seconds or so, then diappears and the install stops. I can hit install again and the process repeats itself but it is not updating the program.
The reason for doing this is to transfer a my iPhoto 09 library over to this machine instead of re-importing the photos and having to recreate the albums / events.
iLife 08 is installed and working.

Try using Pacifist to install iPhoto and it's supporting files from the iLife 09 disk. I would move your current iPhoto application to the Desktop until you know the install was successful and it operates as expected.

You have to restore your phone. To do this turn off your phone and disconnect it from your pc or mac. You then have to plug in the usb part of your sychronize cable into your pc or mac. Open itunes. Now press and hold on the home button on your iphone and plug the cable into it while still holding down the home button. Your iphone will now be in recovery mode and on itunes you will see the option that says restore. Click on that and your phone will be restored to factory settings. If you backed up your itunes all your apps will be downloaded back on to your phone. Including all your contacts and text messages. It took me a couple of tries to restore my phone when this happened so if it doesnt work the first time do it again. Took me two tries. To "update software" and when I restarted my computer I got the message unable to complete. Now when I restart my computer it is shows the apple and a continuously turning time gear.

I responded to install new software message and was asked to restart--I did that--went to lunch and when I returned my screen showed the message that said, "unable to complete update for unknown reason" or something to that regard-and asked me to restart. I tried to restart and now see the apple but the time scroll is in an unending loop and my computer will not boot.-I recently installed snow leopard in order to be able to sync my mobile me accounts--since then my computer runs hot. Not sure if that has anything to do with current issue.

You will need to reinstall Snow Leopard:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
Do the following:
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install the appropriate Combo Updater to return to the Snow Leopard version you prefer from support.apple.com/downloads/.

I have a live login and MS ID 4 my SkyDrive account but I only use my MS touch with 8.1, SkyDrive and office 365 for mobility.
And I still like to backup to my own server!!!
What would be good is if I can put all the software licenses and product keys of the software and keep a record of my mac addresses for hardware and even static IP's in a file or a secure location within the MS online store.
That's where MS wants me to get my computing needs from in future and I will always be able to retrieve it in future but what about the $$$$$ I have spent on software, hardware and applications prior to now???

That's crap - This is a clean brand spanker install of Win7 and there was nothing b4 I put the oem drivers from Toshiba back on.
I looked at dozens of support pages and forum blogs and tried for hours to get a copy to download - including incognito and other logins but because my default PC name is also my MS Windows live ID the same error was repeated.
I keep away from the non MS sites for these things and with good reason - there were heaps of similar users with the same issue or very close to it that had downloaded from a supposed MS copy from eValue or digital river etc and the next
thing was total corruption of the OS.
EVENTUALLY I found a LIVE MS chat on a support site in the US and she gave me a link to a slightly older version which will need updating and some reg edit changes but so far, so good.
The point is - what a crock !
I should be able to just keep all my software, drivers, updates, service packs, and versions that I have upgraded in the MS store.
If Microsoft aren't going to support XP or Office 2003 and eventually 2007, vista & Windows7 not far behind??? then that's still no excuse for them to put these restrictions and limits when I OWN my copy of the software!!

Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to backup

I erased and restarted my time capsule numerous times and tried re backing up. Little more then have way through i get this message "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume." With about 80gb left out of 198. On the apple support page ALL it says is ".Restart, then try the backup once again" Here is the link http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3275#3 ....PLEASE Help Me .. What Do I do.. I have read almost every topic and article regarding this ERROR 11 and found nothing and i tried i think all all..The new snow leopard comes out tomorrow so im going to install that and try again.. also if this does not ever work is there a way just to store all my music and photos in the tc and restart my whole computer the archive my files from there ??

Unable to scan and install windows updates on Win 2008 R2 server

I've encountered some of my win 2008 servers are unable to scan and receive windows updates from SCCM 2012. Browse through the logs and found some error code related to
0x80244023. Excerpt from the WindowsUpdate and WUAHandler is as below. Searched the net and found some workaround which is to rename the registry key
WinHTTPSettings to WinHTTPSettingsx (by adding x at the end of the string)
under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Internet Settings -> Connections.
I've did just that on the effected servers and after running again the Software Update Scan Cycle action, it is now able to scan and install the updates. My questions is, based on you guys experience, is there any repercussion (apart from enable to install
software updates) that I could encounter in changing the registry key value WinHTTPSettings?

If SCCM is setup correctly and your boundaries are correct then once you deploy updates the agents will pick them up.
Also make sure you SUP role has the FQDN set. Lastly if you are using port 8530 make sure it is open.

Time Machine Error. Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copy

I purchased my iMac 24" in February.
After I had set up the machine I configured an IceCube Firewire 300 GB (Seagate) Hard Drive as a backup volume and flicked the switch in Time Machine. All went as expected. I even restored my whole hard drive from the Time Machine volume about a month ago after I repartitioned the boot volume to set up Boot Camp. No problems.
About a week ago I purchased a 500GB WD HDD and set it up inside the IceCube enclosure (I remembered to make it the "Master" disk too!!). I partitioned it with Disk Utility with a GUID Mac OS X (Journaled) partition for my Leopard boot partition, and as MS-DOS FAT32 for my Boot Camp external partition. I used Carbon Copy Cloner to copy all the Windows files across from Boot Camp to the new FAT32 partition and set up Time Machine to make a backup of the Leopard boot partition.
After several hours Time Machine stopped with the error message above. ("Time Machine Error. Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup").
I have spent days formatting the new WD drive, repairing permissions on the boot drive, excluding large files and cache files from the backup in Time Machine to no avail. Every time I get the same message. I even set up another 200GB firewire drive to see if it was anything to do with the enclosure of WD HDD. Same result!!
I have searched these forums for any ideas, and have done wide searches with Google but nothing has worked.
I can not understand why my Mac worked perfectly with Time Machine before I installed the new Western Digital Hard Drive.
What have I missed?

I keep getting the Time Machine backup error too, like many others. Was fine until just the other day, now, nothing. Although my husband's backs up just fine. I assume it's the 10.5.3 bug everyone else has. I've tried reselecting the drive, running the disk utility, shutting everything on and off... help!

I'm using Windows, and just updated to Acrobat 9. (Installed Pitstop and quite imposing) and when i go to 'Edit' or quite imposing i get the following error message:

Error (2931) VMM is unable to complete the request. The connection to the VMM agent on the virtualization server (host.domain.local) was lost.

Experts,
kindly advice for this error when create vm from a templates, while i'm not having this issue when create the vm to another host from the same templates,
firewall is disabled and no antivirus on the host.
The network and the ping is very stable, and the WS-Management service is running on the host,
Host : windows server 2012 R2
VMM : 2012 R2 3.2.7895.0
VMM updated from RU2 to RU5

Recommended Action
Ensure that the Windows Remote Management (WS-Management) service and the VMM agent are installed and running and that a firewall is not blocking HTTPS traffic.
This can also happen due to DNS issues. Try and see if the server (ms-lab-01.eccsolutions.local) is reachable over the network and can be looked up in DNS. You can ping the virtualization server from VMM management server and make sure that the
IP address returned matches the IP address locally obtained from the virtualization server.
If the error still persists, restart the virtualization server, and then try the operation again.

and the drop happen in the customization after deploying the VHDX file as my first image.

Backup your VMM database and then check the
tbl_VMM_Lock table in the
VMM database to see if it has any locks listed, do this after stopping the System Center Virtual Machine Manager Service.
If there are locks listed in the tbl_VMM_Lock
table you can clear them by executing the prc_VMM_ReleaseAllLocks
stored procedure.

In Time Machine "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while completing the backup folder

Time machine fails to complete backup

I've been getting the Unable to Complete Backup error message for several days. Last good back up was 11-22-13 at 11:13PM. I am running an iMac with OS-X 10.7.5.
I did the above steps in Console and got a huge string of lines; I tried to edit all repeitious ones that were the same, but still ended up with a lot of lines that seemed to develop more different processes over a few days. Sorry to put all this stuff in here, but I don't honestly know what to make of all of this code language.

Unable to complete this operation error

Hi,
I installed Firefox 4 and when I go to my HP printer properties and click on Printer Services I get "Unable to complete this Operation" error. If I uninstall Firefox it works fine. When I reinstall Firefox I get the same error. Any help would be appreciated because I would like to use Firefox.

According to the error message, please use performance monitor to diagnose if it is a memory-related bottleneck and you can use the counters of the memory part in the article below:

In addition, it may be due to thousands of open connections to the server are in a TIME_WAIT state. You can run "netstat -an" command on the affected server and client. If you see mutiple connections in the TIME_WAIT state, you can follow the article
to increase the number of TCP/IP connections:

Furthermore, if you are running windows server 2003, please make sure that you have installed the KB 948496 and stop all services that you don't need.
