I am unable to delete one email message. No problem deleting others.

There is one message on my email (hotmail acct.) that I am unable to delete. When I try to put it in the trash, it remains. All others can be deleted!

Have you tried logging into Hotmail on a PC and removing it from there?
It could be a problem with Hotmail.

I am not able to read my emails while I am in Firefox. This has happened about 8 days ago. I don't recall how this happened because I was able to use FF very well & never had any problems. I made a copy of my email screen to place in the box below, but it is not allowing me to paste? I tried clicking on install but all I got was an error message that it could not open up this document because it needs to know the creator. I've tried to open with different programs but it just won't work. Can anyone please give me some assistance?

Unable to open certain email messages

Hi,
I've configured my gmail account on nokia messaging on my 5800 XM. I get notified on new email and I've been able to get my emails as well.
But there is this weird problem with certain emails. When I click on the email, it retrieves the message switches to open that email, but immediately switches back to the list of emails. I've tried a lot of times, but this seems to happen consistently for some emails. Is there any reason why I'm unable to open certain emails?
(I don't really see anything special about these emails that don't open)

Can not delate one email message

I have one email I received that is crashing mail on the phone. I go to delete it and it moves it to trash, I then go to empty the trash and it crashes. Is there any other way to get rid of this one piece of mail. It's only this one email that causes the problem. I can successfully delete and empty other mails. I'm running the latest 3.0 software. I have also deleted the mail off of my server.

you could delete the email account from the iphone, then rebuild it.

If it is a USB powered external, no AC adpater, that may be the reason. Mac notebooks are known to have low powered USB ports. You can get around that with a Y USB cable to connect to 2 USB ports at the same time.

I get a lot of emails daily. Sometimes I can't keep up with them and they add up in my account. Is there a way to delete a group of messages at one time?
Right now I have 700 unread messages that I would like to delete but can't seem to find a way to delete them all without having to go through and click one at a time....so I just skip it. Help!

Select all the messages you want to delete. If they are all in a convenient block in one account use Select All. Otherwise, select the first message in the list you want to remove, hold down the SHIFT key and scroll to the bottom of the list then click on the last message to select the entire list.
Click on the Delete button in your Mail program.

I am unable to open some email messages

I had been able to open emails from a person until about 3 weeks ago, now I am not able to open emails on my cell ph from this person. I can open in my dash top computer. All other emails from everyone else will open. ???

You should really read the manual. Click Support at the top fo this page, then click Manuals.
You should be syncing to your computer regularly. Your game data is backed up when you sync.
First try a restart. This eraes nothing.
If that does not solve, then try a reset. This erases nothing.
If this fails then try a restore

How do I make certain admin accounts unable to delete other accounts?

Basically I have an account on my sister's MBP and she threatens to delete all the time. I want to make it so that she can't delete my account. And no, I can't denote her to a standard user. What to do?

ITunes states that my credit card security codes are invalid, but they are correct! I know for a fact that the information I've put in is correct, and I have tried three different credit cards; two visa, and one Amex. Same problem for others in 2008-now.

How can I fix this problem? I've tried signing out and back in.
I owe them $1.29 too, from a song, so I cannot select "none" as a payment.
I'm not buying an iTunes giftcard, either.... HELP!

Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful.

[SOLVED] Unable to delete message from Kmail

There's one email message I cant delete from Kmail. If I click on it and press Del, it tooks about minute until Kmail says Message sucessfully deleted but message remains. If I try to move message by using drag and drop I get popup notification
Unknown error. (Unable to update item)
Other messages I can move/delete without problems.

Can't move multiple email messages simultaneously.

I am unable to highlight multiple email messages and move them at the same time to a mailbox/folder within the Mail app.
I used to be able to do this with no problem.
When I select multiple messages to move, it successfully moves the first message in the list (removing it from my inbox). The other highlighted messages only get copied to the mailbox and therefore, a copy still stays in the inbox.
It's time consuming and annoying to move each email one by one into my folders within Mail.
HELP!!! Is there something I can do to fix this problem? I believe all of my software is up to date.

Imap inbox only shows 1 email message until mail.app is quit/restarted

i am having a problem with mac mail that has persisted for months and nobody i talk to has an answer. this started in leopard - same account in panther mail did not do this.
basically i have one particular email account on a well supported university imap server (eg it is a standard imap account, no funny ports, nothing shady about the server). i use mac mail to access the account but when i leave it open for a few minutes suddenly all the emails in the inbox disappear, except one. oddly, the one email message that shows in the inbox seems random - sometimes it is a message from a week ago, sometimes the most recent one, sometimes one from last year.
i have tried changing the imap settings, turning on/off idle mode, etc etc to no avail. the account previously had 1500 messages in the inbox and recently i trashed all but 150. still happening. when i restart mac mail all the messages show up again. it is just unpredictable and annoying because i have several accounts so i usually leave mac mail on all accounts inbox view and then go crazy trying to find an email in that account, only to realize it is this bug again
any ideas?
