When you are in Album view in the Photos app - tap the edit button in the upper right corner - tap the X in the corner of the album to delete it.

Unable to delete or combine pages in Acrobat Pro 9

I am using Acrobat Pro 9 and want to delete a page and then add a page to an existing pdf document that was created in Adobe 9 Pro to begin with. I have tried using the "pages" tab to create thumbnails and then highlight the page I want to remove and select "edit > delete" and this option is greyed out. The menu option at the top: "document > delete pages" is also greyed out. Then I tried creating a new duplicate pdf from scratch using Live Cycle Designer to import the existing text into a fresh document and then delete the page and the same problem is coming up and that isn't fixing this issue. How do I enable page deletions and insertions?

Don't use LiveCycle Designer. Create your forms with Adobe Acrobat. Designer-created forms can't be modified in Acrobat.

Unable to delete a blank page

I'm using Livecycle Designer ES2 version 9. I have a 14 page form, most of it set to Flow. Somehow there's an extra blank page (pg. #10) that I cannot do anything with: if i add an object it puts it on the last page (14) and I'm unable to move it back onto page 10. I can't delete it b/c it says it's a Master Page, of which there is only one. When clicking on the page, it takes me to "Master Page > Page1" in the heirarchy.
I have no idea what I did to make it appear. Short of having to start the form over from scratch, not my ideal solution, I'm at a loss.
It's probably something stupid on my part which then hopefully means it's an easy fix!

Unable to delete anything on page/form

Hi,
I seem to be having a problem with deleting objects from my form in application developer mode and in multi row deletes in form mode.
I am able to add and amend objects such as buttons to the form etc but when I try and delete, nothing happens.
In application developer, in other apps I have created if I create a button and then delete I am prompted with the usual "are you sure you want to delete" which I guess is done through Javascript?? When I try and delete an object from my current application, nothing happens. The prompt doesn't come up and the object is not deleted (in app developer) or the data is not deleted in the form.
I think I am missing a piece of javascript in the application processes or somewhere like that but when I have looked in my other apps that work, I haven't been able to find what is missing.

I must first state that I am not very conversant with 2.2.
Take a look at the URL in the MultiRow Delete button. It will be something like this code that I picked up from 3.2
javascript:confirmDelete(htmldb_delete_message,'DELETE');This code calls the ConfirmDelete function in one of Apex supplied .js files. This javascript function always ends with a doSumbit('DELETE'); which causes the page to be submitted with DELETE as the REQUEST. The ApplyMRD or Automatic Row Processing process is triggered using the Request = DELETE.
If none of this is happening then possibly a js file is not being loaded, either because you customized the template omitting it , its not in the i/javascript folder or some such reason.

Unable to delete delivery schedule lines in MD04

Hello All,
In an intercompany process, plant A (receiving plant) placed an order
through Schedule Agreement on plant B (sending plant). Accordingly
schedule lines are released. Plant A received material but schedule
lines are still reflecting in plant B of same qty's.. but not in plant
A. Now we are unable to delete / remove schedule lines in plant B of
stock / requirement list (tcode MD04).
We would like to know why we are unable to delete these schedule lines
in plant B. Pls. let us know how we can delete?

CAn you start again explaining your situation as it is totally unclear if you have problems with receipt or with goods issue?
Of course you should only receive after it was issued.

HT5137 Pages App stuck saying waiting and unable to delete. how do i fix this?

My pages app has been stuck saying waiting for the last few days. When i press it is unresponsive and i am unable to delete it. How do i fix this?

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

Unable to delete links: "XML structure element, not in layout"

Hello all,
I'm having an issue in InDesign where I'm unable to delete links appearing in multiple files that have even made their way into one of our templates. They do not list a page number where the object appears and clicking on the "< >" does nothing.
A cursory search of the InDesign forum yielded two results, both of which were answered by having the OP go into the document structure and delete stories from the Root (see below). In my document, however, there is NOTHING listed under Root in the structure. Where are these files and how do I get rid of them?
I'd really like to eliminate this problem before it spreads further. Any help?

Slight update: In another document the page number is listed as "DT." When I click on it I get this this message:

This document *does* contain elements in the structure but even when removed from the structure the items stay in the links panel. So my questions are:
1) Am I removing items from the structure incorrectly?
2) If I've already removed items from the structure, how do I remove the links that were associated with that content?

Unable to delete songs from my iPad 2

Last night for the first time ever I had problems updating iOs (version 7.0.4) on my iPad 2. I kept getting one of several messages, for example, saying: iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes. I went through the update three times before it finally worked.
Then I found that I had every song that I had ever purchased cluttering up -- and filling up -- my iPad. Although in the past I was able to delete either a single song or an entire album, I am now UNABLE TO DELETE ANY SONG.
I have the iTunes setting on Manual update and have attempted to completely disconnect the disgusting iCloud feature. However, it appears that iCloud is NOT disconnected.
I happily use the iPad 2 ONLY for a very few uses on a daily basis. I wish to control ALL my music from my iMac.
I've been with Apple since 1984, but I'm seriously thinking of ditching this iPad 2 for a Samsung product.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Somehow I got 12 songs on my ipad mini that I could not remove.
I stumbled across a solution. Plug in the ipad and UN-check "sync music" to remove all but the remaining unwanted song. Find the song in your itunes library and right click these unwanted songs and RE-ADD it directly to the ipad.
The ipad should automatically re-check "sync music" and show one song being synced. Now manually UN-check the sync music box again and the warning will come up "are you sure...existing songs...removed". Select remove and click the "apply" button in itunes. Once the changes are applied, you should see the song remove itself from your ipad.

Unable to delete files from encrypted external SD Card using File Commander

I've run into some trouble trying to delete the directory com.spotify.music from my external SD Card (encrypted) after a hard reboot using the reset button next to the sim card.
I need to do this for the Spotify app to work (FC on starting it) and I'm currently unable to delete the folder and its contents from Sony provided file explorer(FC File Commander).
Is there a way to delete this app from adb or other command line tool or how should I go about this? Developer options are enabled because I'm learning to develop apps. Not particularly keen on rooting or otherwise format my SD Card but it's an option if there are no other ways to do it.
I can see the contents of my card using File Commander just fine. Spotify app is uninstalled, I tried remove cache and data before uninstall also.

I guess he will not be able to move the SD card to the computer since it's encrypted and is working only with that particular device, but he should be able to access it via PC.
If you can try to uninstall Spotify from your phone. I assume Spotify is not working due to some rubbish inside it's directory, but on the other hand you can't delete the folder because it may be used by Spotify. If you uninstall app folder may be unlocked.

"unable to delete" file on 6267

I have a Nokia 6267 S40 phone made for Malaysia and I am in the US.
I’ve got a file that I cannot delete from the phone memory (no mem card) which seems to be causing problems in other applications. It is a downloaded video file with the extension .3gp.
When I try to delete it, I get the message “unable to delete” or if I mark it and I try to “delete marked” I get the message “item being used by another application”.
When I try to open the file, the phone locks up, then I have to remove the battery.
I am unable to rename the file, I get the message: “unable to rename”.
If I try to move the file and get message “file in use, unable to move”.
Sometimes I cannot even open the “gallery,” and get the message “file system is busy”
Other problems:
Cannot access the internet, the phone tries, but does not get past “processing data” then if I try to exit, phone locks up.
Cannot open any applications, however I can open the folders
Calculator will not open
Games will not open
Cannot save a note, will edit but not save, phone locks up if I try to save, same happens with the calander.
I’ve tried restoring the factory settings, both “settings only” and “restore all.” In both instances this message appears, “Restoring settings. Please wait.” And I wait and wait and wait…and then I remove the battery and try something else.
The only way I seem to be able to do anything with this particular file is if I am able to open the “gallery,” highlight the file, select options, select use video clip--as contact video then go into that contact and choose to edit—then I can view the video.
I have tried using PC Suite also, with the same results. When I try to delete from file manager I get this error: “Operation failed. A file or folder you are trying to delete, rename, move or copy is protected from access.”
Please help.

It seems that this file got corrupted. An advice: never download and save files into the cellfone memory. Save them in the memory card to avoid these problems.
If there is a nokia care centre in the USA, better take it now. Or try to upgrade (not a sure thing that fix the problem)

I have just bought an imac and have transfered my thunderbird account from my old pc. I am unable to delete messages from my care4free POP account. Anyone help with this please?

Problems associated with deleting or moving email usually stem from failure to compact mail
folders, especially inboxes. This is because deleted email is not removed from the
application until you compact (expunge is the technical term). This can be done
automatically by a setting in your email account. Manually is simple enough. On any mail
folder do this: right click/compact (or File/Compact Folders). This is especially important
on inboxes but also, any folder from which you regularly delete/move email.
If you are experiencing problems you probably have a lot of uncompacted mail so be patient
the first time and watch the activity bar for its status (at the bottom of the application).

Unable to delete photo from ipad

When I first got my ipad, I synced s photo from My Pictures. I am unable to delete it from the ipad by using the delete option. How do I get it off my ipad?

Go to the folder on your computer that those synced photos are in. Move those photos elsewhere then sync and the photos will go away.
Alternatively you can connect your device to your computer and open iTunes. Click on the name of your device and navigate to the photos tab. Choose a different folder or deselect any folder then sync. Your device will replace the photos on your device with what's in that other folder, or simply remove them all together if you deselect all photos syncing.
Given the difficulty of removing synced photos, I stopped syncing photos a long time ago. Instead if I want photos on my iPad I'll just mail them to myself...or you can use any number of photos apps that have the ability to sync/share data, or upload them to something like dropbox and then download them onto your device. Downloaded or saved photos can be deleted from inside the photos app.

I am unable to delete rows from target data store. Here is what I have done.
Source Oracle 10g - staging 11g - Target Oracle 11g
I have implemented consistent set CDC on data model in staging and added 2 tables to CDC and turned on the journals . Both tables A and B are joined together via Column E (primary key of table A). Table A is the master table(has foreign key). Table B is child table. Target column consists of all the columns of both table A and B.
Following is what I am able to do and not to do
ABLE TO DO. If data is inserted into both or any of journalized tables I can successfully load the same in target by performing following steps. 1. Extend the consistency window at model level. Lock subscriber. Run the interface with any source table marked as Journalized data only. Unlock subscriber and purge journal.
ABLE TO DO. If data is updated in any of the journalized table, along with the steps mentioned above I can execute two interfaces. In one Interface table A marked as journalized data only Joined with table B and in second interface table B marked as Journalized data only joined to table a.
NOT ABLE TO DO If data is deleted from one or both tables it shows up as journalized data in JV$D<tablename> marked as D with date and subscriber name but when i run the interface by extending the window , locking subscriber executing both interfaces, unlock subscriber purge journals. no change takes place is Target. After unlocking subscriber step, journalized data gets removed from JV$D view. Please let me know what I am doing wrong here. How can rows delted from source can also be deleted from TARGET?
NOTE : In the flow table SYNC_JRNL_DELETES is YES
In moel under jounalized table tab Table have following order Table A folloed by Table B

If so then I repeat my self :-) Why not to connecting to the SQL server directly?
* even if you need information from several databases (for example ACCESS + SQL Server), in most cases, it is much better to connect directly and get each information to the app. Then in your app you can combine the information and analyse it
