I am unable to download the trial version of Adobe After Effects.

I am trying to download the trial version of After Effects for testing. I downloaded Edge animate from the cloud several months ago with no probelem. Safari says it can not open the address. Is this a firewall issue? I am trying to convince my boss to allow me to subscribe to the creative cloud but so far this is not helping running into to techical difficulties this early in the process. Thanks for any response.
UPDATE: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the Creative Cloud download app. It seems to have downloaded and installed fine but when I go to download a trial app nothing happens, nor do I know what to do. The creative cload window opens in my mac and that's all. Any suggestions.
I have also noticed the CC icon on the top title bar of my mac remains dim, don't know if that is an issue. The only options it gives me is Help, Open as window and Close Creative Cloud. What gives?

We being a state agency, we have many security measures in place on our servers. It seems that all IT had to do was make an addition to our proxy. Problem solved. Everything downloaded fine and is working great. Now the fun/work begins.

Buy the Snow Leopard retail installer (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDAzOA).
That will take you to 10.6.3.
If required you can then use the combo updater to get to the latest version, 10.6.8 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399)

I need help too! I am suffering from the same issue when trying to reinstall Air...which I was doing to troubleshoot why I can't reinstall MUSE...

Which I did and each time I get the same message.. I need help with my MUSE crash as well. How do I download a trail version of Adobe Premiere Elements? When I click on "download" nothing happens.
When I go to my downloads and click on the Adobe Download assistant, Premiere Elements is not a option for trial download.

If nothing happens when you click the download button try using a different browser.

Unable to download the trial version of Illustrator CC

I was able to download other tiral versions such as Photoshop CC, InCopy CC, InDesign CC, Acrpbat XI Pro, and Extension Manager CC.
However, Illustrator CC seems to be the problem. It goes up to about 42~45% and just stops, saying that theres a problem installing it
No detailed description of the problem pops up but simply states that I should ask the customer service.

Hello Jeff. Thanks for your message. There is a folder labeled "Install Adobe Download Assistant". When I try to open it, all is does is show up on the dock. Nothing opens. There was a message that appeared on the screen before I turned off my computer that said I should update some kind of Adobe software to be able to support the program to enable me to open it. When I clicked "OK" I thought it would take me to the page for the download. Unstead the message disappeared and I can't make it pop up again to let me know the url of the page where I can download the necessary update.

Frankly - utterly pointless. Upgrade your operating system to 64bit. Other than the versions that are bundled with Master Collection and Production Premium for legacy compatibility, there is simply no way to buy CS4 products any more. Feel free to download the CS4 trial as explained here, but as I already said, you are more or less wasting your time...

This is a forum. None of the users here -at least not to my knowledge - are Adobe professional
Ninety-nine point nine percent correct. We are blessed with a few Adobe employees here, unlike some fora, but those folk are probably at NAB right now. Also, they are in other departments, so would have to walk "down the hall," or make a call, just as we would.
When it gets to issues on licensing, installation, etc., we're pretty much at a loss. Most of us have never encountered such issues, and only know what we have read in others' threads, when they have bothered to report back. Even then, that is third-hand info.
Last time that I had an Adobe installation issue was AI 3, IIRC. My upgrade version did not have the old database of S/N's. Mine was 00-000-003, and things had changed drastically. One call to Adobe, and a total time of about 5 mins. (including hold time), and I was given a number to plug in, and then everything installed perfectly. That was in about 1989, so is not quite contemporary. Still, that is the last and only first-person account that I can offer. Most here have zero personal experiences, as they came to the party later, and have just not had any such issues.
We'd love to help, but just do not have the experience.
