I am unable to download the version 10.2
Help Me please....every time itunes offer me the new version to update, it starts and at some point in time it stops.
Its unable to continue the download...I've never noticed an error code, but its annoying. I believe this is why my itunes freezes.
Try downloading an installer from this location on the Apple website, clarise:

Jolly Giant gave good advice re. ITunes and unable to download the latest version on my older Mac Mini. I downloaded ITunes 9.2 as he suggested but came to a standstill at the place where we "agree" with terms. Couldn't open this without Iwork which I don't have. Help! Carolyn
Hello, no way you should need iWork to "Agree"!?
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
And if you're really at 10.4.2, then get this and apply it...

My mac is the OS X 10.8.3. I tried to update the latest Adobe flash player and kept getting 'Actionlist not found.' I have uninstalled, enabled and disabled plug-ins and am still unable to download the update and now have no flashplayer at all. Help!
PS I'm still new to Macs so the more broken down the better.Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.

Here is my problem:
I'm unable to download the latest software iOS 6.0.1 to my iphone 4 because there is not enough available space. I tried to sync my iphone to itunes and it says, "itunes cannot read the contents of this iPhone. I backed up my data to icloud to ensure everything is backed up. Is there a way to verify if data was really backed up in icloud?

I am unable to download the Maverick keeps coming up with an error
I downloaded Maverick on my computer which was my husbands old computer. I downloaded it with my husbands apple id which I was prompted to use, after downloading the full version it could not be opened, so I deleted the entire program, rebooted and then tried to download the program using my apple id. Now I am unable to download the program I keep getting an error message.

<Email Edited by Host>The Early 2011 MacBook Pro shipped with Snow Leopard, so these are not the Mac App Store versions of iLife, they are the boxed software versions.
If they are in an iWork '09 folder take them out and let them loose in the Apps folder. Then reindex your HDD.

I recently bought a KoboGlo ereader. Several days ago I bought an ebook from Booktopia. However I was unable to download the ebook onto my new ereader. I was told that I needed to load Adobe DRM which I did. When I contacted Booktopia they told me that when I authorised my Adobe DRM I should have "select 'Booktopia' next to Vendor ID, and then log in using your Booktopia account details ie email address [email protected] and your Booktopia password as the password."
I erased my Adobe DRM software from my computer and reloaded it but I seem to be unable to convince your software that I want to start over... it keeps telling me that I am using an ID and password that was used to authorise another computer!
What do I do?

The operating system on your Gateway system is Windows based, as are all of the applications that you had installed. Your iMac uses the Mac OS X operating system. The applications on your external hard drive that you pulled from the Gateway system will not directly run on your iMac. One option is to purchase Mac OS X versions of the software where possible, or your can install Window's on your iMac and have the capability to use both Mac OS X and Windows.
Since you are a new Mac user it may be best to go back to your place of purchase and spend some time learning about your options for transferring your data and options. According to the Stamps.Com website, they apparently don't make a Mac OS X version of the software, but they supposedly allow you to print directly using the Mac's web browser. Microsoft sells a Mac OS X version of their Office suite which you can view at http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products.
Here's some more information that helps people like you who are converting from Window's to the the Mac OS X environment. There is some learning to do, but like me, I think you'll like it once you have everything configured correctly.

I see two problems when trying to download a new version of Flash Player from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. .
1. Your Web server is sniffing for my browser. I select the "Download now" button, and I get the same page all over again. The navigation is looping. If I spoof Firefox 6.0.2, however, I do get a download. This means you are sniffing for "Firefox" when you should be sniffing for "Gecko".
2. While spoofing Firefox, the download gives me install_flashplayer10_chrd_aih.exe, which is not the installer for Flash Player 10.3.183.10. Instead, it is some kind of helper. To get the correct installer file, I had to search my archives to find the URI http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win /install_flash_player_10.exe.
Both of these problems were previously cited in this forum at http://forums.adobe.com/message/3885371. Neither problem has been fixed. -

Usually iTunes will tell you in that case, that iOS 4.2.1 the newest version for your phone.
