I am unable to install Flashplayer...HELP!!

The past few weeks, I have had to reinstall Adobe Flashplayer 11 numerous times...Sometimes more than once a day. Today I went to reinstall Flashplayer again, and it doesn't work. After I click the Finish tab, it says Adobe Flashplayer Successfully Installed...But it isn't. I keep getting the same screen, over and over...Attached

See if any of these help:

  • Unable to install flashplayer to mac

I am unable to install a new version of flashplayer on my macbook os 10.6, browser Safari.  I get to step 3 of 3 and its an ad for another adobe product.  It doesn't allow me to complete the installation.  I've uninstalled to reinstall.  Nothing works.

  • Unable to install FlashPlayer 10.3 on my new iMac

I am experiencing the same problems other people note about this new version. I have attempted numerous times to install it, uninstall it, re-install it. It says it is installing it and there is something there to remove, but it doesn't work and my favorite apps tell me I still need to install the latest version? Dangit, the earlier version worked brilliantly, but now it's lost and the game web-sites keep insisting they have to have this one.
The Adobe trouble shooting site was not helpful. I could not figure out how to use it and it did not appear to scan my computer looking for the installed program. Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.
My browser is the latest version of Safari on a brand new iMac. Thought my problems would be over when I converted to Apple, but guess that was naive.

Hi, You can try the manual method. I'm not sure if any of Flash Player was installed or not, but to be sure, I'd download and SAVE the Uninstaller per this site for the Mac.
      http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Then go to this site and download and SAVE the Installer either to your Desktop or the location for Mac.
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
Close all browsers windows and reboot after Uninstalling and then Reboot after Installing.
I think also Mac users are supposed to repair permissions after Installing, by running Disk Utility.
    Hope this helps,

  • Unable to install flashplayer, what do I do ?

In trying to upload a picture, I followed instructions to download flash player, then clicked run, then a warning appeared for me to cancel, program would harm my computer. I've also checked for plugins but while it states its searching for them it never stops, I meant to say, it searches forever! I don't know anything about installing or options, but I do know when to stop because of potential harm to my computer. Please help me.

There are two different versions of Flash for Windows, the '''''ActiveX''''' version for IE and the '''Plugin''' version used by Firefox and most other browsers.
1.Download the Flash Plugin version setup file from here: <br />
    [http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_32bit.exe Adobe Flash - 32-bit Plugin version]. <br />
Save it to your Desktop.<br />
    2. Close Firefox using File > Exit <br />
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed, <br />
    {XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
    3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.
    4. Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
    * On Vista and Windows 7 you may need to run the plugin installer as Administrator by starting the installer via the right-click context menu if you do not get an UAC prompt to ask for permission to continue (i.e nothing seems to happen). <br />

  • Unable to install Itunes Helper Error 7

Hi - I'm getting the above errror when upgrading my itunes.  I've reinstalled microsoft.net.  I've also removed and reinstalled all Apple programmes.  I'm still getting the error.  Can anyone help?

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?
If you still have the same error messages cropping up, then try the procedures from the following user tip:

  • Unable to install FlashPlayer 11.6 on Mac OS 10.7.5

    Hi,
I have also been having problems installing Flash Player 11.6.602.167 on my Mac (OS 10.7.5).  I decided to try uninstalling, then re-installing after an online tutorial stopped working to see if it was related to Flash Player.  I am able to download OK, and I double click on the icon to install (with Safari shut).  It starts to install, but then stops at 38% and says installation failed.  I have tried this several times and the same thing keeps happening.  I have been through the Installation for Mac Issues page without success, including trying to install via Show Package Contents.
I would be grateful of advice.
    Regards
    James

If your Mac is a new machine/OS it is highly unlikely that PSE6 will be able to be installed/used with it.

  • Unable to install flashplayer on Windows 7 and Firefox

I have tried to upload this 6 times. Each time it stalls and quits between 7 and 49%.  Anyone have any ideas on how to upload this, if not then there is no point in having firefox.  And I refuse to use IE.

Please try installing from the stand alone Windows installers located here:
Installation Problems - Flash Player - Windows
You should find installers for both Firefox (other browsers) and Internet Explorer.

  • Cant finish installing iTunes 10.6 to windows 7, keep getting error message 7, unable to download iTunes help. Ideas?

I started with the "cannot locate network file .msi" msg. I bought perfect uninstall to remove all traces of apple software from computer, it was able to remove the so called defective file. For 3 hours I tried to reload 10.6 and got a new error code 7, unable to install iTunes help, and I still can't get it or the old versions of iTunes back on my computer. I have since removed the software again and defragmented the drive with no success. Seems like a lot of people are having similar issues. I am very frustrated. I was so happy with apple products till now, so disappointed they would release such faulty software! Any ideas?

    Repair your Apple Application Support.
Restart Computer, go to Control Panel/Program and Features/highlight AAS and click REPAIR button.

  • Unable to install adobe flashplayer on mac 10.9.2

Hi I recently upgraded to 10.9.2 and I am unable to install Adobe Flashplayer on Safari.  I've done an uninstall and downloaded and tried to reinstall but it hangs a little more than halfway.  All I get is an error message saying there's an error - no specifics.
Any help here please?  Thanks in advance!

Are you trying to install this: Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.77?
I would suggest doing the following:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
    Try installing Flash again.

  • Help!, unable to install or unistall due to windows messanger?

If anyone can help it will be great.
I am unable to install or unistall flashplayer as it says window messanger is open..i have checed and double checked and its not. I am on windows xp.
Not sure you need any further information, if you do please tell me how to access this as not to hot on computers.
    thank you

    How have you checked...?
Most messengers have an icon in the systray (the notification area near the clock).  Check there and close any running messenger(s).
If that still does not fix the problem, check with the Task Manager (Processes tab).  Look for processes like msnmsgr.exe, msmsgs.exe or similar, then end the process(es) from the Task Manager.

  • Help for installing Flashplayer 10.3 on a Mac?

I have tried unsuccessfully to install flashplayer 10.3 on my MacBook using OS10.5.6. I get an Installation Successful message, follow the instructions to close my browser, but it is not there.  I have used both Safari and Firefox to try and install it.   All of a sudden a new version of flashplayer is needed for doing things I have done for years such as watching TV shows and using a brain training program.  Do I have to upgrade my Mac from Leopard to Snow Leopard, or will that do it?  Anyone else have this problem?  Any ideas?  This is the first time I have had problems installing any program Leopard will suport.  Thanks!

You can check if the plugin is installed on safari by following these instructions - http://browsers.about.com/od/safar1/ht/safariplugin.htm
Under Shockwave Flash, you should see something like Shockwave Flash 10.3.r183 — from file “Flash Player.plugin”.  Do you see it?
Also, please make sure plugins are enabled - http://247support.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8968/~/safari%3A-enable-plug-ins.
Finally, if those solutions don't work, try a clean install.
    1. Follow the CLEAN uninstall instructions here.  Make sure to delete all the files/folders in step 4.  http://forums.adobe.com/message/4041846#4041846
    2. Download this zip of the latest Flash Player for your machine. I have one for you here, pulled from our flash player archive page. http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.3.183.90_archive.z ip
    3.  Extract, and navigate into the 10_3_r183_90 folder (not debug).
    4. Mount flashplayer_10_3r183_90_mac_intel.dmg, and continue with the install.
    Hope this helps.

  • Itunes 64 bit on windows 7 is unable to install, i have the 64 bit installer version but it keeps saying "errors occurred" at the ( rolling back ) phase. HELP!

itunes 64 bit on windows 7 is unable to install, i have the 64 bit installer version but it keeps saying "errors occurred" at the ( rolling back ) phase. HELP!!!

I have the answer and this might be useful for any one else wondering about this in the future. If it helped you or explained what you wanted to know. Replay to the post pls
It's quite easy actually. First have your "iTunes Library Extras", "iTunes Library Genius", "iTunes Library", and "iTunes Music Library" backed up. Download ans install iTunes 64-bit. I don't know what's so 64-bit about iTunes 64 since Win7 reports it as a 32-bit application in the task manager. But anyway. Install iTunes 64 and launch it. If you migrated your library to another drive like me go to settings in iTunes and change the directory to your location. Close iTunes. Replace the newly created files with your backed up files. Launch iTunes. iTunes will load and then update your library and from there you are set to go! so basically it is just like a normal upgrade. But if you hesitated to go from 32 to 64 like me, here is your answer.
By the way. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with iTunes 64-bit and it works without problems and syncing with my iPod Touch also works flawlessly.
