I am unable to install the software update as it says I am not connected to the Internet but I am!! Help!

I am trying to install the latest software update, but a message flashes up to say I am not connected to the Internet, when I actually am! Any ideas please? Thanks

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad or your router?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Even though you are connected to the Internet, sometimes resetting your router can help. It's very easy to do. Just unplug it for about 30 seconds, plug it back in and let it start up.

Where are you trying to connect from? Your profile shows IOS 6.0.1. If you are using an IOS device, you'd have a better chance of getting a good response if you posted on that forum.

Unable to install itunes software update

I have been trying to download a software update for I tunes and it will start running and then after about 45 minutes will pop up an installation error box saying I need to quit the following programs and the only thing in the list is Itunes and the only option is to quit installation which causes the installation to stop and error out?

Just in case, let's try a standalone AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi install.

I'm trying to install software updates. After about half hour or so, it says that not all items could be installed and I'm not connected to the internet?

Ok, so I went through System Preferences to do the update versus the apple menu. There we're a total of 7 updates - one of them being for Safari, which it said it was already downloaded. I unchecked the update for Safari and BOOM!!! Updates loaded If anyone can tell me why, that would be great. Thanks!

If you have problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
You may need to remove the Firefox program folder to do a clean install of the new version.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. You may have many open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign.

I'm really frustated with Nokia 603 wifi.It doesnt activate the internet whilst my other mobile have no problem or issue connecting and activating to the wifi.From what I read mostly the wifi issue here.Can someone out there assist me with this problem?I called the Nokia tech support team but they themselves is a failure to trouble shoot this problem.I have thought of not supporting Nokia anymore.This problem has been month without solution.Now I'm using my othe brand mobile to use wifi connection.

Just updated, now Muse says it's not connected to web

Updated to V 7.3 Build 5 CL782274 Muse CC. Now when I open Muse it says I must log on to the internet, then says internet is not connected. Obviously I am because I can contact Support. What's going on here?

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy...
Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings.
