I am unable to log on to my Comcast e-mail account. When I do, it keeps reverting back to the sign-in page. Like it's in a loop of some sort.

Comcast has been making changes to their e-mail for several months. It has affected the way the e-mail works, but the issues are different for different browsers. I have had issues since August. At any rate, this morning I was unable to even log on to the e-mail system via Firefox, but I could get to it via IE.

Note that such issues are usually caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked (check the permissions on the about:permissions page).

I solved my problem by Resetting my iPod and then Restoring my files. Only speed bump was losing two apps in the Restore, as the current versions now require iOS 7.1, minimum. Apple makes Reset and Restore (two processes) painless with these Help articles: "Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings," and "Back up and restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch using iCloud or iTunes." The Restore took a while to synch my photos and iTunes libraries.

OK, restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. It's possible one or more is corrupt. To restart in Safe Mode when you hear the start up tone hold down the Shift Key until you see a progress bar. Let it fully boot then restart normally and test.
Also I am assuming you have checked Finder - Preferences - General and see what boxes are checked in "Show these items on desktop." You can also mount an item in Disk Utility, simply highlight it and then look in the File menu for Mount.....

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Sorting keeps reverting back

Hi guys
I'm quite particularly about how I catalogue my music on iTunes so I always edit the song Info tab and use the Sorting tab's function, but it keeps reverting itself back.
First of all the edits made to a song's Info will revert to whatever it was downloaded as and sync this incorrect details to my iPod without me realising, this is quite easily sorted by going to a song's Info and it will just revert on it's own, I can easily work my way through all the songs by clicking on Next repeatedly. It's still a bit annoying though.
This also affects what's under the Sorting tab, reverted back to the details that came with the file when I downloaded it. Unlike the changes made to the Info tab this doesn't undo itself by opening the Get Info screen - I have to work through all the songs again.
It does this every few days and is a bit annoying when you're as anal as I am about having this properly catalogued and categorised. Does anyone know why it might it might be reverting it's Info and Sorting details back?

Go to iTunes > Preferences > Store and turn off
Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases
Share details about your library with Apple
On any iOS device go to Settings > Music and turn off
Show All Music
Close and reopen iTunes and/or reset the device and you should see your version of the metadata for each track rather than the original store data.

With this latest update (on 4/10/15) I am unable to access a secured work website due to the TLS. How do I revert back to the previous settings?

I need to revert the security settings back to the way they were BEFORE the update because now I am unable to access my secured work website (that I was on yesterday) to actually do work. When I attempt to go to my log-in page I get the following message:

I cannot log onto sites that require my log in and password. I get no error message, fire fox just goes back to the same empty log in screen. this problem is not limited to one site. I reloaded firefox with same results.

When i type in my log in and password and enter, the site either returns to the blank screens or does nothing. This is not limited to one or two sites. all of my financial institutions, electric company, insurance companies, even trying to register here so that i could ask this questions. In this situation, when i hit the register button, nothing happend, its as iff the button is inactive. i had to go to IE to register and post this question. I just tried to enter my new log in and pw on the screen in fire fox and nothing happens. Some sites behave differently when i hit the submit or log in button. the information seems to be transmitted but the screen comes right back to the original log in screen with blank fields. there are no error instructions that something does not match or is missing. then i go to IE and it works.

The left half of the speaker on my iPhone 5 doesn't work when I listen to music or watch videos, it's it the phone(only had it for 3 months) or is it some sort of software problem?

If you are referring to the "speakers" along the bottom, there is only one speaker and one microphone.

I just bought the latest Mac mini i5 but every time I try to transfer my files from time machine back-up of my mini mid 2011 model I always come up with some sort of problem?

I am so fed up with using time machine to restore my files from my previous mini. I have tried several different ways and every time there is some sort of problem. I just want to restore it back to the original setting and manually reinstall my personal software. My question is: Is it better to reinstall osx using the recovery drive or downloaded from the app store. Also if you have already reinstalled from the app store does that effect the recovery drive?

It does not make any difference it you reinstall from recovery partition or app store since in either case the OSX install files are downloaded from Apple servers.

After my routine software update to 10.7.5, I can't log into my main log-in id. Whenever I put my password in, it takes me back to the log-in screen.
