I am unable to open my website on my 1Mac.

When I go to my website I only see part of the page and a message that says.......There was no home CMS page configured or found. I have rebooted, enabled cookies and still it does not load. I am able to view the website on any other computer. It worked fine a few days ago. Any suggestions?

The problem has been fixed. Not sure how to delete this post.

  • Unable to open any website due to The proxy server is refusing connections, why?

Firefox is opened, but unable to open any website. The message says, "The proxy server is refusing connections" & "Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections". I installed the version 8.0.1 again. But there was the same message, again!

    Check the connection settings.
    *Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection > Settings
    *https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Options+window+-+Advanced+panel
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy" if the default "Use the system proxy settings" setting doesn't work.

  • Unable to open my website?

    Hi all,
I am unable to open my website in Adobe browserLab. When i have given my url in BrowerLab. It is Dispalying "The contain requires Adobe Flash Player 11.1 would you like to install it now?"
I am having the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed in my system. But i am unable to solve this Problem. I have tried in diffrent browers, but the problem occurs the same.
Please give me the solution for the above issue.
    Thankyou in advance for solution.
    Regards
    Santhi chand

    Hi Santhi chand,
You didn't post the URL you're testing, so I can't be sure this answer is correct, but it sounds like the page you're testing requires Flash Player 11.1. We haven't updated BrowserLab in a while (though we plan to do that soon), so much the same as we're behind on browser versions, we're also behind on the Flash Player version we have installed on our browser servers.
I'm not sure if it's possible for you, but a simple workaround for this issue would be to lower the minimum Player required version number to 10 on the page(s) you're testing. Does the content you have there actually require that Player 11 be installed?
If this isn't the problem, please post the URL you're testing so we can take a look at it ourselves.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • Unable to open a website with Safari

I am unable to open one particular website with Safari. I have OSX 10.8.2 Mountain Lion. I have been reading all the related suggestions & downloaded & installed JavaForOSX.dmg and jdk-7u9. Still I cannot open this website (http://ctalanon.org). Can anyone assist me with this problem?

Triple-click the line below to select it, then copy it to the Clipboard (command-C):
    www.ctalanon.org
Launch the Network Utility application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Network Utility in the icon grid.
    Step 1
Select the Lookup tab and paste (command-V) into the address field. Press return. Post the output that appears below – the text, please, not a screenshot.
    Step 2
Select the Ping tab and do the same.

  • Unable to open Wikipedia website.

I am using an iPad mini (wifi only), I am unable to open the wikipedia website, all the other webpages are working fine.I'm getting the error message  "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding ". The same problem occurred a week ago and I had to reset all my settings and erase all my data and reinstall ios, and it was working good until now. Is this a known issue? Is there any other solution?. BTW i have tried force resetting and my internet connection is fine.

There are precious few reasons to reinstall your iOS (presumably you restored your iPad). Not getting to a website would certainly not be a reason to resort to such serious fixes.
Wikipedia is a private foundation, and sometimes there servers are overloaded, because they don't have enough servers. Sometimes they're doing maintenance. It could be dozens of reasons having nothing to do with your iPad.
Get the Official Wikipedia App. It's free. It's fast (unless Wikipedia is having problems). It renders everything accurately.
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wikipedia-mobile/id324715238?mt=8
There are several other free and paid apps for Wikipedia. I've tried a lot of them, but this is the best.

  • Unable to open https websites with Firefox 4 beta 5 after updating from beta4

I am unable to open any https websites with Firefox 4 beta 5. This is happening after I updated to beta5 from beta4 this morning. I reverted back to beta 4.
This happened to most of the secure websites including mozilla's support & add-ons, bank and gmail websites

Looking through the bug notes, it looks like there is a simple work around, switch to Private Browsing Mode.
Works for me for all https sites I have tested.

  • Unable to open any websites from the search engines. the ones I have tried are google, yahoo and ask. They opened until recently. The popup says" Firefox can't establish connection to the server." Ask worked last night but is not working now.

When I try to open a web site from one of the search engines a pop up shows stating that Firefox can't establish connection to the server. I can't open any websites through any of the search engines.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.<br />

  • SBS2008 DOMAIN PC'S UNABLE TO OPEN SOME WEBSITES COMPLETELY

This problem started with chrome and now if I have IE10 installed the same thing happens and this is that some pages open fine, some time out. Also what has happened is that Security Essentials will not update with the update button. It will update through
WSUS or if I download of the upload file(Although on occasion I need to pause and restart the download to get it to finish). IE9 which is what I have to keep running has no problems.  We are using SBS2008 as well as a SQL Server on a Hyper-V server. It
has been in service for about 3 1/2 years now, with 10 clients. Like I said I first noticed the problem with Chrome over the Summer and when I upgraded to IE10 on one workstation in November and found it had the same problem as Chrome had had. The last tidbit
is that I have placed a wireless router, not an Access point, in between the server and the same workstation that's logged into the domain to the wireless router and everything works fine. Including the update button for Security Essentials. Also All workstations
are windows 7 pro 64bit. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Have you checked if there are any security settings have been configured in IE? Can you ping to these websites that could not be opened on these computer? Please also try to delete the IE temporary
files to see if the issue persists.
How to delete the contents of the Temporary Internet Files folder

    Hope this helps.

  • Unable to open some websites since I moved to BT

    Hi
I am new on here, so please move if I have posted in the wrong place.
Since I moved to BT (Home Hub 4, normal broadband) I am having trouble on all my devices connecting to certain websites. On my laptop I just get the Oops, Internet Explorer could not connect. On my android phone it will say I am not connected to the internet (when I am as I can visit other sites) and on my Ipad it says Safari could not connect to the server. i should add that these are not adult / dodgy sites that I am trying to access. Just normal sites that I have always used.
Also, my ipad is unable to search for an update to iOS.
Can anyone advise me what is going on? I did set up BT Parental Control, but I took it off again to see if that fixed it, but it didnt.
I had no problems on my old router and all my devices work fine, so it must be the settings.
    Thanks

Try turning off "Smart Set Up" on the Homehub. See link how to do that.

Some mobile devices also have a problem with the dualband having the same SSid (name) Try giving the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies different SSids. Just add a 5 to the end of the 5Ghz SSid so you know which is which. Check the 5 GHz Sync with 2.4 GHz: is set to NO.
Once you have done that "forget" the connection on your mobile devices and then restart them and log onto both. The device should then automatically switch to the strongest signal.
You'll need to connect all you devices that can use both frequencies to both SSids if you want them to be able to use both frequencies.

  • When i Start Firefox I get the following error message: Could not initiate the application's secutity component. Then I am unable to open any websites.

It says the mostly likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory.

    Hi,
Please try this: '''Help''' ('''Alt''' + '''H''') > '''Troubleshooting Information''', click '''Open Containing Folder'''. This opens your [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder & Files]. Exit Firefox and rename '''cert8.db''', '''secmod.db''' and '''key3.db''' in the profile folder. You can delete them later.

  • Firefox is unable to open eny website, how to solve it?

All of a sudden Firefox started to act very strangely on my computer. If I reboot my computer Firefox will initially work normally for about 5 minutes, after that it just won´t work to load and open any webpage, Firefox is acting like the computer is offline, it just keeps loading but cant open any webpage. I know my internet connection is alright since other browsers like internet Explorer is working fine. Another weird thing is that I am also not able to close down the Firefox processes in the task manager if I close down the browser, this makes it problematic to reboot Firefox, because an error message tells me that Firefox is already running, yet i can not close down the processes, the only way to really close it seems to be to reboot the computer. I have also tried to reinstall Firefox but the problem remains the same. Firefox is my prefered browser, so it would be really great to get it functioning normaly again.

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately it did not solve the problem. I doubt that it my security software that is disabling Firefox to function. I have checked and I could not find anything blocking Firefox, besides the problem did not occur in connection with any update. The mysterius thing is that Firefox works just fine for 5 minutes when I start up the computer after a reboot, then it simply stops working.

  • Safari unable to open ANY websites

New imac all set up. ethernet connection made. email received. BUT when i try to use SAFARI i get a message that says "Safari can't open the page "http...blabla" because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection..." this is strange since i am receiving email AND was apple to reach applesupport.com... I then did a diagnostic check and it says that ethernet connection is fine. hmm.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
    thanx dearly, la paloma

i posted with what seemed like Safari problem but it ended up only being my problem. New imac was all set up, had ethernet connection BUT no Safari. i REALLY spent a long time calling myself an idiot ad then tried a simple trick - turning the modem off and then on. it worked.
brain cell loss obviously not as dramatic as first thought.
    yours,
    la paloma

  • Unable to open LUFTHANSA website, "the connection has timed out"

I booked a flight on Lufthansa 1 month ago, everything worked fine. Have been trying to print my boarding pass, unable to get on their web site.

You can try to reset (power off/on) the router.
Another possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
