I am unable to print maps from any map website, where I had been able to in the past
hp officejet 4500 g510n-z, windows 7, it just prints blank page some text at top and bottom but no directions
Update: This is a known issue in Firefox 4 beta 12. The latest nightly builds availible here fix this problem: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-central/ I was using beta 11 at the time of my reply.

This is in my "hotmail" accounts.
I was always able to see the photos across the body of the e-mail in small thumbnails (?) and you could click to open in a small preview screen or just hit the download toggle on each photo to download to a file.
This function has disappeared. The thumbnails do not appear at all - just the words "click here if takes too long".

Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.

I am unable to print anything from any website.
As of a week or so ago, I cannot print anything from Firefox. I'm using FF 3.6.13, and Max OS X 10.6.6 on a 3+ year-old (Intel Core 2 Duo) iMac. I'm connected via ethernet to a Brother laser printer. I am unaware of any change in any element of the computer's hardware or software since before the problem appeared, except the recent OS X update. (See below for why I don't think that's the problem.)
In all other respects Firefox appears to be working correctly: I can open pages, navigate the sites as usual, etc.
I don't get a blank sheet of paper from the printer--I get no response from the printer at all, print preview gives no response, and pdf's created from the print dialog box are blank.
I reset all of the print settings in about:config. No help. I deleted Firefox and all my preferences, reinstalled FF from the Mozilla site; no help.
The only extension I've added is a dictionary, which has not been updated or altered since long before the problem appeared.
The error console has warnings: "Warning: Unknown property '(blah, blah, blah)'. Declaration dropped. Source file: https//addons.mozilla.org/media//css/zamboni/z-min.css?build=cd68cc7" where '(blah, blah, blah)' is "text-overflow", "border-radius", "box-shadow", "-moz-transition", et al.
Error console has a message: "api-secure.recaptcha.net : server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555". Following up on that didn't do me any good either. The description of that issue seemed to focus on sites not opening, which is not my problem.
My wife's MacBook is running the same version of Firefox and OS X (including last week's update to Snow Leopard), and prints to the same printer over the same LAN. (Later model processor and different firmware, though.) I am unable to download an audio book from Audbile. I have been able to in the past
I have been able in the past to download audio books purchased from Audible and today I purchase 3 books and was unable to download using Firefox and had to use Safari.
Why have Firefox stopped meI downloaded Blue Fire Reader and it requested an adobe id. I clicked on the link that was in the error message stated http//adeactivateadobe.com. Found out that if the date and time on my Ipad is wrong that it won't let me download a book. I was off 5 hours. I reset my clock settings and adobe id let me download a book from the library. I am back to using Overdrive and adobe again on my ipad.

ical (the calendar program) that came with this apple mac pc suddenly stopped working. When I pulled the icon from the desktop, it then disappeared from the computer.I have been using it from the desktop for the past two years, without trouble. It has uninstalled itself, without my intervention and has eradicated all traces of it, including all my entries from the computer memory. There is no program in the applications list. Can you say why this may have happened please?

Can no longer print a pdf attachment, nothing on the computer has changed since last printed a pdf doc?
Well, is the PDF actualyl allowing to be printed? Check File --> Properties in Reader/ Acrobat.

This is an https website. The login page appears as per normal. I then have to enter my account number and pin number. I then click the continue button. The screen then clears and starts attempting to login to the website to access the next page of the security procedure. The down loading procedure reaches approximately half way and will not go any further. None of the next page of the security procedure appears on the screen.
I am not having this problem with either Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.
Can you help me please?My first thought is why are you using Firefox 3.6 that is unsupported and not secure. I would suggest that you upgrade to a current version of Firefox and see what happens then:

Since Apples last update on 6 June 2014, I have been unable to Import photos from ANY source. When I attempt to do so, I receive the message "Import Preparing to inmport..." I've waited 10 minutes but nothing happens. When I click on the icon, Stop Import, nothing happens. When I attempt to Close iPhoto i receive the message, "Photos are being imported to the photo library. Please wait for import to complete." When I click on OK, nothing happens. The only way I can exit iPhoto is to press the On/Off button.
After loading this file I was sucessful in importing photos from a web site, my camera memory card and a CD containing photos.
That is a good news. We now know, that iPhoto is working as expected, when you are switching to a different library.
But this is puzzling:
I then see a box with two Librarys listed, both have the same name except for the following and are listed as:
iPhoto Library.photolibrary but one has (default) after its name which is the one which is always displayed when I load iPhoto.
Underneath the box is written:
/Users/paulfkardian/Pictures/iPhoto Library.photolibrary
Underneath this are three boxes titled: Other Library Create New Choose
I highlighted the the File without the (default) after its name and clicked on Choose. A Library was loaded which had my photos (about 9,822) from about 7 months ago. Underneath the box is written diferently than the file always loaded and says:
/Users/paulfkardian/Pictures (original)/iPhoto Library.photolibrary
You are having two "Pictures" folders in your Home folder, Pictures and Pictures (original)? And each has a different iPhoto library - one working correctly, and one not? Do you remember, when this second "Pictures" folder has been created and what caused it? Did you restore your Home folder from a backup some time ago? -
My Macbook Pro will not print anything from any program. I've reinstalled the drivers. I get an error message in Word that says, "Word could not communicate with printer." Any ideas?
Be sure to try restarting, if you have not done so since this problem occurred. You should also power off the printer while you do the restart...
If that does not help, you can try resetting the printing system. Open System Preferences Print & Scan (or Print & Fax) pane. In the sidebar with list of printers, right (control) click anywhere. Select Reset printing system. You will have to add back your printers after you do this. -
Any suggestions on how to print coupons from Target's website?
I am wanting to print coupons from Target's website, but they have done a poor job of supporting us Mac users. I even downloaded Firefox, as it stated that they supported Firefox 3.x for Mac; well, they don't.

Unfortunately, you’re trying to print to a device that is not valid for printing coupons. Please check your print setting to make sure your default printer is a standard printer and has paper. If you have a multifunction printer (fax, copy, print), please make sure that “Printer” is set as the default function on your computer.
Click the Try Again button after you’ve selected a new printer and make sure you have paper.
The first time I tried to print from the site it required that I download an applet, which I did. It's called MacCouponPrinter.dmg. I can print from other coupon sites but not Target's.
It's apparently a HUGE problem with couponers as I read probably 50 posts on various website, some of which offer solutions, but none of which have worked for me or any others as far as I can tell from the posts.
If anyone has suggestions, please chime in. Also, one more thing... It seems that the Target coupons page somehow accesses my printer directly without allowing me to go through the print dialog box to change any settings. Don't know if that's a helpful fact, but...

I am using nokia e5 smartphone. I am unable to downlaod songs from any site using the default Nokia browser, i am unable to download an Opera Browser even, whereas my current internet pack is active and other applications like Wwhatsapp work fine.

have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling Nokia Browser from http://download.browser.ovi.com ? also try the same with Opera at http://m.opera.com Also check that you are fully up to date with your phone firmware by using Nokia Suite to check for any firmware updates. -
it's been a while that Im unable to copy music from itunes to my iphone. I updated my device to the latest version of IOS 5.1.1 and made sure no jailbreak is installed but still not working. please assist.
Assuming you are not manually managing your music, verify the following:
You are using the latest version of iTunes
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library you have checked all the songs you want to sync to your phone
There are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
You have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize this computer)
You have checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings
When everything looks correct, sync your phone. -

My HP photosmart premium with wireless ePrint, will not print files from mobile phone says it **may have** a virus- and deletes the file?!? My Fiance has the same phone, and I used it. It completed the file??? If I text message and E-mail address, my cell phone will come up as and E-mail address... has anyone else had this issue? Is it because I texted the the file? - one is a 3 lines of text and numbers in a GIF file sent as an attachment
- another is a jpg circuit diagram paste in a word doc sent as an attachment
both are classified as spam and refused to print. i have no email coming back saying it failed (even i have checked "Email Job Status" in ePrint Settings.

When I go to access my albums from any app on my phone or iPad, I cannot access the iCloud albums, only the albums synced with iTunes/iPhoto manually. This is frustrating because I cannot add to those albums from mobile device, I have to add to them during a Mac sync. I would like to be able to use my iCloud albums to organize my photos but if I cannot access them from apps it seems pointless. I will end up having to maintain both an iCloud library and a separate iPhoto library which is more work that seems necessary. I want everything easy to organize and access. It seems like in this age where most people are more likely to use their mobile devices than their Macs (and some do not even own Macs) that there should be a mobile solution. Hopefully I am simply without a clue and you folks can help me out with a fix or a source of info as a solution. I have not found answers yet.

I have an old file with an .A4P video from 1999. I don't own any Adobe products (and don't really want to buy any). I just want to be able to convert the file to something that I can actually view. Any help?
I was a kid when I made a documentary for a school project. I've been trying to figure out how to retrieve the file. 4 years ago, I was able to get the files off the Iomega Zip drive (finally), but I now see the file is saved as a .A4P. There is also a file saved as a .PKG as well, but I don't know how to open this with my Windows 8 COmputer..a4p is an Authorware v.4 (Windows) project.
Interesting you have it as a .pkg...usually that's a published-on-a- Mac extension, if I recall.
At any rate, can you put the file up on a Box, Dropbox, FTP, etc...and send me a URL?
I should be able to published it so you can view the project (it would be an .exe).
It can't be converted to anything though - not without manual effort.
