I am unable to register my iPhone on iTunes

After 3 days I am still unable to register my iPhone on iTunes. Everytime I try to start the process I receive the message "An error has occured: please try again later".
I have done all of the software updates for iTunes, iPhone, confirmed updated terms and conditions, tried to register as if I didn't have an Apple ID, etc....all to no avail. Help.

Is the English sim from the original carrier as that is usually the message you get with a carrier locked phone.

Unable to sync my iphone with itunes over wi-fi

This might be me be being extremely dumb, but I am unable to sync my iphone with itunes over wi-fi. I have itunes 10.5 on windows, have iOS 5. When I plug my phone into my computer I have ticked the box on the device summary screen enabling wi-fi sync but when I go into my iPhone menu, the "sync now" box is greyed out and it just says that it will resume sync when my computer is available.
Any suggestions>??

When I unplug the iPad, iPod or other iPhone, the device stays in the devices list in iTunes
When I unplug my iPhone, it disappears from the devices list (which makes me think it's iTunes being petulant)
Have tried rebooting bot windows and the iPhone, disabling the firewall and 'repairing' iTunes
It's a 64 bit windows 7, FWIW, but the other iPhone 4 talks nice to a 64 bit windows 7

I'm presently unable to sync my iPhone with iTunes for some odd reason. It says "Syncing is disabled on this computer." I checked the iTunes settings and it said under "Syncing" in the preferences that it was in fact enabled so I don't see why all of a sudden I'm having these problems. Any suggestions?

I first reset the sync services in the (Applicantions - Utilities) Terminal: killall SyncServer syncuid SystemUIServer
Then I went to *User/Library/Application Support and dragged the SyncServices folder to the Trash.
Then I logged out from the Apple Menu.
Then I logged back in.
Now all of the syncing services are working correctly.

i dropped my iphone on its back... the phone is still working - when i call it, it rings,,, however, the screen is blank and black... i tried to restart it using the home buttom and top button... still didn't turn on.
i'm trying to sync my iphone via itunes on my windows pc - however, because i have a passcode lock on my phone, itunes sends an error message saying that it cannot sync my phone until i unlock my iphone by entering in the passcode.
i tried to do it, even with a blank screen, but it didn't work.
what can i do?

Wrong language registering new iPhone on iTunes. How do I get it back to English?

Registering my new iPhone 4 on iTunes on my Windows 7 computer.
Asked to input iPhone number (form already had home phone in iPhone place). I tried to input new iPhone number but it asked for 4 digit code. I ended up putting original home phone number back but it seems to have recognised my STD code as an international dialling code and changed reistration language to Spanish/Portuguese.
Am now stuck and can't go forwards or back until I get it back into English.

Thank you. I was having the same problem (registration was in English and then the Chinese screen appeared). Reseting the iPad solved this problem for me.
I unplugged the iPad from the computer and then held down the menu and wake button at the same time until the unit reset (the screen goes black and then the white apple logo reappears). I plugged the iPad back into the computer and the screen was in English.
If anyone is curious about the screen before I reset here is what it said:

I am unable to connect my Iphone to Itunes, I recieve an error message asking for a passcode

So I attempted to restore my iPhone 5c but everytime I try to connect with it and do so on iTunes, an error pops up asking for a passcode I don't have no idea about. Also my iPhone says " iPhone is disabled, connect to itunes. " and I'm trying but the same error pops up and asking me to try again. I also tried following the instructions on this website: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 and it didn't work. Can you please explain to me how I can just restore it and get it unlocked again? thank you. I've got this phone from a friend as well, as an early birthday present, and he said it would be easy just to restore it, because it use to be his, but I'm not familiar with this stuff.

This is probably going to be an easy fix, and I'm going to feel extremely silly after, but I'm having an issue with my iphone recently. For whatever reason, I can't connect it to iTunes (as obviously stated in my topic name ) I have uninstalled, reinstalled itunes.exe, other apple products, attempted to turn off specific apple services in my advanced settings, ect. (as some of the apple support pages suggest. I may have skipped some steps, I am unsure...) But no matter what computer I go on, it always immediately leaps to autoplay and will only recognize as a portable/storage device after plugging my phone in. Is there something I'm missing? I'm using a windows 8 Laptop, if it helps.

I recently downloaded an update to itunes. Afterward, whenever I connect my iPhone, the device is not recognized by iTunes. I can see the device on My Computer but not my iTunes. I uninstalled and installed iTunes and restarted my phone and no success. Any other suggestions? thanks!

You have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer ? If you do, and your phone doesn't show on the left-hand sidebar of it when connected to it (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), then see if these troubleshooting pages help :

I'm unable to get my iPhone out of recovery mode?

My iPhone was on charge earlier this evening, and when disconnecting it to use it again I noticed it had entered recovery mode randomly (I'm still not sure why this happened in the first place) I know usually this isnt a very big problem and you can simply connect it to iTunes and restore it, which I attempted to do, however when doing this my iPhone displayed a black screen with a blinking apple sign and iTunes wouldn't recognise my iPhone. I held the home button down, and iTunes then recognised my iPhone, however when I hit restore, an error sign comes up saying my iPhone cannot be restored - so I am unable to restore my iPhone through iTunes.
I cannot restore my iPhone by holding down the home and power button as my power button jammed just over a month ago randomly (literally woke up one morning and was unable to use it at all) so my iPhone is now stuck in recovery mode and I can't get it out.
I'm going to visit apple tomorrow to see if they can help. I'm still covered by warranty as I've only had my phone just over 11 months. Do you think it's likely they'd be able to restore is via iTunes in store? and if not do you think I'd be able to get a replacement because of this issue and because of my broken power button? Incredibly worried, as I don't know why my phone has even randomly entered recovery mode or why my power button jammed in the first place and I really don't want to end up paying £120 for a new handset when I don't feel any of this was really my fault.

I am having the exact issue as yours, but, I fixed this issue myself and I would like to help many of those suffering from this issue to not be treated by Apple -- when I woke up in the morning I found my iPhone 4 was in "Upgrade to iOS6" mode on the moring that I planed to travel -- my alarm is still alarming me to wake up but the phone could not be used anymore, so fortunately I have backup phone to switch the sim-card to. When I am back home I went to a local "Short Hills" apple store Genius Bar and the staff told me that it could not be fixed, the only way to resolve this was to pay $150 for "Replacement" for a refurbished iPhone - I didn't believe him! My home PC/iTunes can detecte my phone, but the Genius Bar staff said it can't be deteted. I tried many different ways and finally I came up the followings which fixed by iPHone: 1) if you need to backup your stuff within the iPHone, you can use iTools from your PC; 2) Install the latest iTunes; 3) Try to recovery your iphone with iTunes several times and to see if it could be fortunately restored, Pay attention to the error messages, I got (-1) and (3194) which are ok, if they all are not working, then perform the last: 4) download the latest firmware for your version of your phone, such as iphone 4,5, GSM, CDMA, etc and save it into your PC; 5) perform a recovery mode from iTunes, but this time, you are pressing down the "Shift" key while you are clicking the "Recovery iPhone" from your iTunes, it will pop up a window to ask you to upload the firmware, you then select that downloaded firmware and it should fixed you problem and your iPhone will be just like brand new from Apple manufacture! Good luck! -- I have several negative experience with Genius Bar -- they are using refurbished phone with much older screen life LCD to replace my warrenty new phone -- this is apple the policy which are being complaied worldwide!!!! If I had choice, I would not have been using iPhone!
