I am Unable to remember Icould ID associated with my iphone?
I have an iphone 4 and I didn't know anything about the Activation Lock. I sold my phone on Ebay and I can't unlock the phone because I absolutely can't remember the icloud info associated with the phone? I reset the phone before I shipped it. The buyer returned the phone and I am trying to figure out what can I do to unlock the phone.

New hard drive installed in Mac. iTunes keeps asking to authorize a very old email address which is not associated with my iPhone and I cannot sync iTunes to my iPhone.
It is referring to purchases made using an Apple ID that was set with that email as the Apple ID. Did you simply create a new Apple ID when the old email address was no longer being used? If so, then that old Apple ID is still tied (and will always be tied) to the purchases made with it, and you will have to sign into iTunes with that Apple ID in order to authorize the computer to it.
If you don't remember the password for it, you can go to Manage your Apple ID and click on Reset password. If you don't remember the answers to your Security Questions, you can contact Apple Support to get them reset:

I have two apple ID's. One is an old one I no longer wish to use, but it is the one associated with my iPhone. How do I change to my newer apple ID on my iPhone?
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
If you have used your old ID to purchase content from iTunes or the App store, you may want to continue to use this ID for iTunes only to avoid losing your content. -
I am unable to sync my Outlook calendar with my Iphone. I have noted that the Icloud Outlook add in is not ticked When I attempt to load it from the designated file nothing happens Can anyone help with this? Robyn

My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple,etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails. But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments. To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work. If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level? or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud? -

How to change the email address associated with an iPhone account? I inherited my son's phone and it still shows his phone number even though I can add my own email account. My iCloud is also associated with his phone number.
If you mean you want to change the iCloud ID your phone is signed into on your phone (which looks like an email address), you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password. -

How can I change the iCloud account associated with my iphone
I changed my e-mail address a few months ago including changing my Apple ID to reflect my new e-mail. For some reason, my iphone and my ipad are both stuck with the iCloud username of my old e-mail address. When I try to delete these accounts like other forums have indicated to do, it won't let me because every password possible comes up as invalid and the "forgot password" e-mail never comes. I was wondering if there was a way to delete the icloud account associated with my old e-mail without having a password and replacing it with the updated iCloud information.

Please help!Your friend can get a new Apple Id for themselves, and create a different account on one of the laptops. Then put all their music in a separate iTunes library, and sync the phone to that particular library.
This will keep there music separate from your library and their brother's library.
Just make another User on your computer for your friend to store their music in. -

Phone number re-associated with old iPhone - can't receive texts
I have given my iPhone to my son after purchasing an Android, and my son is essentially using it as an iPod. After he updated to iOS 7, my phone number (which I have transferred to my new phone) has become associate with iMessage and I am unable to receive texts on my new phone from people who have iMessage. Is there a way to remove the number from that device so that I can receive texts again? Thanks.
Finally got through to talk to a very helpful technician at EE by selecting account query rather than technical problem on the automated answering system on 150. A reset by EE sorted the problem out and the phone is working fine again.

Thanks.If everything works in iTunes on the computer see if this works. Sign out of the invalid account/email address and the sign in with the correct one on the iPad. Settings>Store>Apple ID - sign out.
Restart the iPad before you try signing in with the correct ID.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
