I'm having problems with sending replies to emails on my Blackberry 8310. I can receive emails and send new emails, but I'm unable to reply to emails sent to me (there's no option). The only option I have is to draft a new email and send.
I've tried having service books resent, hard reset (handheld wipe) and at first it seemed to not have resolved the issue. After trying another hard reset and enterprise activation the second time without restoring my profile and third party apps, I had the option to reply to emails. However, doing the restore after the activation, doesn't restore my apps correctly and it causes the reply issue to reoccur.
My question is, how should I procede from here on? Should I just suck it up and re-download all my apps again instead of restoring, or is it possible (which I think is highly likely) that one of my apps is causing this issue, or could it even be something to do with how I've setup my Blackberry desktop?
Any input would greatly be appreciated.

Go to Solution.I think your correct, one of your app is causing the issue. Once you restore, you have the problem again. I would re-download the apps not restore them from the BES. I think that's where your problem is coming from.

Cannot send email from my iPhone or iPad. The server rejects a recepient for no apparent reason. The recipient is not new. This issue happens on reply or reply to all or froward; not a new email to the same recepient. What is happening?
I talked with a tech today and he said I cloud is having problems which should be resolved shortly.

I only have one apple ID and facetime has worked with it before, but now I get the message "Unable to verify email because it is already in use". I have looked ofr a solution but can't find one. can anyone help please?
I spoke with Apple Support this morning and they believe anything MobileMe related is due to the conversion over to iCloud that's taking place.
As for other email clients, check with your host to see if settings have changed on their end. I use inmotionhosting.com and over the weekend the updated their outgoing requirements so that a password authentication is now needed.

What happens when you try to reply... Do you get an error message, is there no send button, does a symbol appear? -

Some ISPs don't really handle you mail, they pass it off to another pipeline. That is called relaying. Some receiving servers will not accept relayed messages, as they are frequently associated with spammers.
In some cases, I understand aol relays within thier own system, confusing the issue a little.
Who is you mail provider? If it is a big name, this should not be an issue. As a test, if you have an alternate e mail account, like gmail, try to send a message from that account and see if it goes through. -

Go to Settings
Tap Mail, Contacts and Calendars
Tap on your Account - ‘[email protected]’
Again, tap on your account - ‘[email protected]’
Scroll down and tap on SMTP
Tap on Primary Server
Check mail server address is set to 'mail.btinternet.com'
Check Port number is set to '465'
Check SSL encryption is set to 'ON'

The recipient cant see "middle of reply or typing" bubble in imessage. Could it be that I am using iOS 8 and they are not? Has any of your friends pose this as a minor problem? Is there a setting that I didn't enable?

When I try to sync my iphone I get a message saying that it was unable to back up my iPhone as an error occurred. I was receiving the same message. I had to uncheck the box that allowed me to sync my phone to my computer (PC) via wi-fi. After that, I have not had any problems. I am speculating that this issue is probably related to the wi-fi problems people are experiencing with iOS 6.

Since last weekend (3-15-15) I have been unable to send/receive text messages with a friend who has Sprint service. The messages send with no errors on either side, but neither side is receiving the messages. It seems to be only this one person affected by this issue, everyone else that I've tried sending messages to has responded with no trouble. Is anyone else having any similar issues?
