Hello Admin,
I am unable to take screenshot after updating black release.
Last night I have updated my Lumia 720 with Black release afterwards I'm unable to take the screenshot.
I am getting the error like "couldn't take screenshot".
Please help me out with this problem.
I am following the conventional way to take screenshot like "lock key + start key".

Yeah!! Its related to problem with folders on MMC. It happens when you share MMC or unplug phone un-safely from PC.
You can solve problem on memory card by formatting it. Do remember to take backup. Then insert MMC in phone. Let phone create folders, then copy back data.
You can try short cut, by deleting folder called pictures. But at times it doesn't work.

This is actually after an update (not an "upgrade"), so I'm not even sure these are the appropriate steps.
This is the second time that I have been unable to log in after an update. The first time, I attempted to reset the password with the installation DVD; however, this resulted in "No LDAP Master" errors and I installed Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Server on a second internal drive and configured everything again. After setting everything up on the second install, I was going to reformat the first boot drive. Unfortunately, I'm just back to where I started after running the updates. I'm not sure if having two volumes with Mac OS X Server installed makes a difference in the instructions in the article mentioned above or not.
Another question: Is resetting the password with the installer DVD the same as using the Single User approach ("launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist", "ls /Users", then "dscl . -delete /Users/username AuthenticationAuthority")?
If so, I'll just do that; however, I am hoping that the Single User approach might somehow avoid "No LDAP Master" errors again.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Lumia 1020 call cut outs after Black update

My calls have problems after Black update. Either reciever can not hear me or I can not hear him for long periods. Tested SIM in other phone on same net on same location and seems to be Nokia problem.

After black update I can't open here map on Lumia ...

Please help me solve this problem I travel a lot in middle east and here maps and here drive was best solution for traveling there. Now after black update on my Lumia 820 I can't even open them I don't want to reset my phone because I have a lot of locations saved in maps. I don't know if Nokia is looking into it or not.

i have share and save problem after latest update - i have installed ps touch on nexus 5 about 2 months ago and until yesterday everything was good but after latest update i can't save and share images in ps touch ( i do reinstall this app but problem is still and app doesn't work properly ) how can i downgrade to the old version ? Could you fix this problem quickly ?

Random restarts after Black update Lumia 820

Hi, I have a problem. I had GDR3 developer version without Black, everything was ok, but after Black update, my phone is randomly restarting. I still have the same apps asi without Black. I made hard reset, but nothing, I made hard reset without restoration of my previous data, and it is still restarting. I made software flash over nokia software updater for retail but it is still randomly restarting.
Tell me what to do, because it makes me angry and I'm planning to sell and never buy Nokia Lumia phone again!

I have sam issue on Lumia 720, i never had random restart before gdr3+Black, i did not dev unlocked my phone i did officiall ota. Also i get 8bit color, stuck screen more often now. Soft and hard reset don't help. And i hate to see Nokia don't answer ur question yet.

Lumia 820 battery drain after "Black" update

Hi all,
Yesterday I finally received the black update on my NL820. After applying the update successfully I charged the phone to %100. Before I went to bed I had:
Battery at %94
Wifi - Off
Data services - Off
Location services - Off
Bluetooth - Off
Battery Saver - On
This morning I wake up and it is unusually bright outside - the phone powered off, the alarm didn't go off and I overslept for work. I haven't touched any other settings after the update. Everything is the way I used it before. What is it that could drain a battery in the space of 8 hours from almost full to power off? I've had this happen on the same phone twice prior to the upgrade as well but then I thought I've forgot data services on or something. This time I'm sure everything was off.

I have been using Lumia 820 since 1 year and have never faced any issues. But after the recent "black" update... my mobile battery drains out within few hours after i charge it 100%. I have to charge it 3-4 times in a day ..
1. I dont have any GPRS connection.
2. I use wifi at home (only evenings). The rest of the day.. I use it only for calls and texts.
3. I have tried hard reset, but that dint help.
4. After hard reset, I dint update my mobile software.
I charge it till 11pm and when I wake up at 5 am .. I see the mobile is switched off and I cant depend on the alarm to wake me up . That makes me so nervous.
Please bring out some solution to this problem. It is so irritating to charge the mobile for so many times in day.

WiFi issues and crashing after black update

I have a uk lumia 820 which was updated to the latest os release including the nokia black update. The problem is since updating, my wifi does connect but soon after internet connnectivity is lost even when mobile data is also enabled, wifi remains connected but needs to be cycled off/on before internet access is restored. One thing i have noticed is that after restarting the phone the access point setting always shows and asks to pick my network operator. Also i have seen a few system/app crashes that did not happen before the black update was installed. I have done numerous soft resets but the problem remains.

Hi there, I have the same problem but this has been happening since the Amber update, so its not related to the Black update.
The problem is that when you are connected to your WiFi and then leave coverage for any period of time, the WiFi does not reconnect. It can see the access point, and shows you are connected in settings, but if you try to use WiFi then it does not fully connect.
Turning off and on is the only way around this which is not a suitable option. It would be preferable that the WiFi did manage to reconnect completely. Is this an OS problem, or a problem with the firmware on the WiFi chip?
There are a lot of users with this issue so can we get Nokia to look into this as a bug?

Store notifications after Black update

Hi There,
I no longer seem to get notifications of app updates in the store after the Black update on my 925, only by selecting an app in the store which I have already installed do I see if there's an update. I've looked around the phone settings to see if there's a way to turn these notifications on/off but can't find anything.

The phone checks for app updates at a specific time at specific intervals. I haven't quite got round to confirming what the interval is yet. If your phone has no internet connection at that specific time then the check is not done. Phones with data connections are fine because the data connection is always available. I started noticing this on a few of my phones without data connections and use wifi only. They would occassionally get update notifications when the phone happens to be charging, which in turn keeps the wifi on. Resets and updates change yet the update time. So, to have your phone check for updates, you need to either leave the data connection on or set wifi to keep wifi on when screen times out, at least until you find out what time of day your phone checks for updates at. Thereafter you will know what time of day to leave your connection on.

Lumia 920 Locks up after Black update

I'm using an AT&T Nokia Lumia 920. My phone had been working fine with the Amber update but as soon as I updated to Black it started hanging and acting weird. These are the symptoms:
1. If I have a device pin setup it hangs as soon as I type in the pin or if I hit the emergency call button.
2. If I don't have a pin, most apps don't start. They say they are loading but after 30 seconds or so they drop back to the start menu.
3. It never successfully reboots, I have to use the soft reset key sequence (power + volume down) to get it to restart.
4. I see missed incoming calls but the phone gives no indication when you're actually calling it.
Things I've tried:
1. Soft reset.
2. Hard reset.
3. Flash to pre Black using Nokia Software Recovery Tool. (no longer possible since it downloaded the black update this morning)
4. Restoring backup after hard reset.
5. Picking all the defaults after a hard reset.
6. Changing the region on startup after a hard reset.
7. Changing the keyboard layouts (remove some, add a bunch). This the one setting I seem to be able to get to.
8. Uninstalled all apps I could (I can't see what games are installed).
9. Flashed back to Original ROM and updated through Phone Updates, after Black is installed, device locks up again.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this problem? I'm in the US.

that's really a bummer.
I went through the same thing/similar when I updated my 920 to black.
I had to hard format and use the NSRT to reinstall the firmware completely 10-12 times until it finaly took the firmware correctly.
other than that, seems you have done everything you could to troubleshoot it.

Downloaded the app " Preview for Developers" and checked the phone updates, It showed that one update is ready to install. Now when i update the mobile (Lumia Black Update) the flashlight of camera is not working anymore. Plz suggest

Unable to download apps after iOS7 update

Hi,
After updating my iPad 3 to iOS 7, I can't download any apps from the app store. I've tried signing out and in from the app store but it did not work. Could this be a bug after the update?

Apple's servers have been swamped since yesterday's release of iOS 7. Even the iTunes Store is/was showing signs of oddness with your apps needing updates not showing at all or when finally downloading the update, would stall and just sit there. All you can do is keep trying. Hopefully things will ease off today and into tomorrow.

Unable to save files after editing, can I unlock an entire folder?

I have never posted here before, and I have done some searching online but havent found an answer to my question...
I am editing images with CS3. I had saved some on my Mac and some on a PC and put them all together to edit on the Mac.
After I do some editing and try to save individual files it tells me that it is locked and I need to unlock the file in Finder. I get that...
But I have a TON of images to edit and I dont want to do it for 800+ individual images. Is there a way to unlock entire folders?
Also, did this happen because I combined Mac with PC? I had never done that before and was wondering if that is the cause?

Unable to change preferences after Security Update 2006-007 10.3.9 ppc

Problem: System Preferences are locked and cannot be unlocked. And Software Update, and Disk Utility would launch but not work following installation of the S.U. 2006-007 .
Solution Steps: 1) Turn off airport card, 2) Connect using ethernet, 3) restart, 4) download S.U. 2006-007 and reinstall. 4) restart 5) disconnect ethernet and turn airport card on.
I believe these steps will work. I did alot of other stuff before trying this and it seems to be working. If you really want to know all of what I tried then read on. Otherwise I would just try the above.
The key seems to be that the airport card is turned off and you are connected to the internet via ethernet so you can download and install the file.
THE LONG STORY:
After using software update to install S.U. 2006-007
I was restarting and it to me to a black BSD login screen. I was not sure of the user name and password it was asking for so I ended up restarting by holding in the power button.
I reset the PRam and was able to get it to load but it listed the user at the top of the screen as UNKNOWN and would not let me see my alternate logins. I restarted again an this time it came up with my name.
Fearing problems I went to the disk utilities to check the permissions. It opened the disk utilities and as it was gathering information it suddenly quit disk utilities without any warnings.
I restarted in single user mode and used /sbin/fsck -fy twice and it found no problems and I restarted. It would still not let me do the disk utilities with the same results as above.
I went into my system preferences and my user settings were marked as locked and would not unlock even though I was logged in as the admin user.
I restarted and reset the power managment. Again I could not change the acounts preferences because it would not let me unlock them. My time was also messed up now and it would not let me unlock them.
I tried changing the passwords using the install disk and that did not work.
I also tried using disk utilities from the install disk. It checked the disk fine and found no problems but gave an error while trying to check the permissions.
I restarted and tried to software update the latest itunes and it would not let me install.
I am not sure why but I tried turning off my airport card and restarting. I was now able to change my preferences and do a disk utilities permissions repair {no problems found}.
I turned my airport card back on and once again my preferences were locked and so I turned the card off and the preferences stayed locked. I restarted several times playing with this and it appears that every time the airport card is turned on it locks the preferences and must be restarted with it off to allow access.
I tried logging in as a new user and had the same results.
I finally turned off the card and connected via ethernet and it had no problems unless the airport card was turned on. I redownloaded the S.U. 2006-007 and reinstalled it and it appears to work fine.
I was never connected wih the airport card and ethernet at the same time.

In the "never fails" category . . . went back onto the machine and signed on under a different account. Immediately got the the familiar Keychain dialog asking for permission for AirPort, responded yes, and the base station was suddenly visible to this account. Logged off, back in under the original account, got the same Keychain request (which had NEVER appeared before in 5 or 6 different logins) and was off and running again.
