I am unable to take or send pictures in message. Once I hit take a picture or video my screen blacks out and I'm thrown out of the message completely. I can only send pictures from iPhoto help!!!

Try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears.

You must surely be able to add and subtract songs on specific playlist?I fixed this issue (with help from tech support) and it involved several things.
After adding a song to iTunes, right-click on the song in iTunes and select "Update iTunes Match."
OR go to the iTunes menu-->Store-->Update iTunes Match.
Maybe that's the reason, it just hadn't updated to the cloud.
OR maybe it's not a high-enough bitrate file. This happens to me because most of my tunes are home-recorded.
Sometimes converting to .mp3 or Create AAC version might work. (You do this with a right-click in iTunes, and then you will want to remove the original file from iTunes.)
There is an iTunes Preferences setting, under General Preferences called Import Settings. Try setting it to AAC Encoder and iTunes Plus. That (I think) causes imports to be slightly better quality.

Your Firefox shortcut on the desktop may have been hijacked. You can check that by right-clicking the shortcut > Properties > Shortcut tab. For your version of Windows, the Target line should be exactly the following, no more, no less:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
If there is anything extra after that, delete it.

Photoshop CS5.5 makes my screen black out on my iMac. How can I fix?
When I use Photoshop CS 5.5 it makes my iMac screen flicker or black out. This is only a recent problem, I have been using this version of Photoshop for three years with no trouble. I don't think its a problem with the screen as it only happen when I use Photoshop to crop or resize an image. I am running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try the standard fixes:
- Rest. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod
If still problem then time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. -
Could you pls help me? i reinstalled my computer and the Safari Icon has a ? mark on it in the dock, I pulled it out and it disappeared, I checked for this icon in the application folder but couldnt find it there. So for me to go on Internet i have to open Firefox first. 2. The message Java Plug in has been disable appeared immediatle after the reinstallation. I need help from the community pls.

I think that your Mac detects your hard disk, but the problem is that your new hard disk doesn't contain any operating system, so your Mac doesn't find any bootable partition and you see a question mark.
If your Mac came with DVDs, insert the Mac OS X Install DVD and hold the C key while your Mac is starting. Then, just install Mac OS X. If the hard disk isn't prepared to install Mac OS X, you will have to erase it using "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". See > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html -

I am building a form and would like to create a pop down menu on the left (and ideally with the options being colour boxes boxes but this does not seem possible), and then have three text separated text lines on the right of the pop down menu for notes related to the pop down choices.
Do you know if this is possible?

MattIt sounds like you're creating the form in FormsCentral. You have limited options in the FormsCentral designer as far as layout. You can place multiple fields on a line, or one field per line. If you create the design/layout in a program like InDesign or Word, generate a PDF, and add the fields form in Acrobat, you have complete flexibility over the placement of the fields.
The items in a dropdown field are limited to text that are all the same color. -
I have recently got a Time Capsule with my Macbook pro retina 15". I am trying to setup my time capsule as a wifi station at my home. But the thing is I can only access wifi from my lap only.
How can I share my network from timecapsule to other devices, and im using OS X 10.8.2

It should work fine in bridge and create a wireless network.. it should already be able to share the network without being the main router.
Setting up wireless from wireless is difficult.
I would recommend you buy the USB to ethernet cable Apple sell as an accessory for Air and MBPr so you can actually use ethernet when required. -
I have an iphone 3G which has been disabled after a child tried to get into it. Itunes will not connect until I have put the passcode in but the device will only enable emergency calls and does not allow a passcode to be put in. I have put it into recovery mode and itunes can't see it. There is currently no SIM card in it and it's not connectng to the wifi so I can't wipe it from the cloud. Any ideas how I can get into it?
iPhones require a SIM for activation.
Put the device in DFU mode (google it) and restore via iTunes. -
How do I send pictures from iphoto to a group via email instead of to just one individual? I can't type in more than one name or send the pictures to a group.
I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.

Click on the image in question and execute COMMAND D which will copy an image in iPhoto.
To delete an image in iPhoto, execute COMMAND DELETE.

i am a new icloud user (and frustrated). how do i send recently downloaded pictures from iphoto thru icloud mail?
my mail system will not function because i went to icloud mail. this cannot be reversed (so says icloud).
the icloud system says that i need to "zip" or send in a folder. how do i do that. -

Have you tried to delete the account from your Preferences and to Re-Enter it? That usually will help.
If not, try to use "Mail.app" as mail client in iPhoto and not iPhoto. Change the the stting in the Preferences > General tab to "Email photos using Mail". This is usually more robust thanthe setting "iPHoto". -

When I listen to music on Apple TV 2 my pictures from iPhoto come in aafter about ten minutes, but always the same album (which I never asked for), always in random order and always in a different format. How can I choose a different album myself and control the order and format?
Thank you Winston for a helpful response and for reminding me of something which I found nearly a year ago and then lost (in my mind) because I did not use it. I am grateful for a correct answer but it still only achieves part of what I wanted.
I can now choose my photos, decide how long they stay on screen and choose one of a variety of presentations. Two things I still can't do.
One is to get it to play the photos in the chronological order in which I have carefully set them in an album; it still tends to be random and repetitive. The other is that I cannot get any of them them to saty on screen for more than about 20 seconds. I guess this is all due to the way Apple TV is constructed.

I'm a brand new Mac user. I want to send photos from Iphoto to my local store for printing, like I can do in Picasa. I can't find that option in Iphoto. I do not want to order them through Itunes.
I have not idea how you do it with Picasa but with iPhoto you either export the photos to a desktop folder and upload from there or burns that folder to CD - or from the upload window use the media browser in the lower left hand corner of the upload windows - media ==> photos ==> iPhoto
