I am unable to update to the latest version of Creative Cloud

I have an old Mac Pro (Mac Pro 1,1) and when the latest update for creative cloud I received an error message A12E1.  I was advised to check in with this forum for advice and well, here I am.

Open Applications>Utilities>Activit Monitor
Look for "AAM Updates Notifier" in the list of processes(sorting by process name helps)
Highlight it and then click on "QuitProcess"
Say "yes" to the warning message
Quit Activity Monitor and retry

  • I am unable to update to the latest version of LR.

I have a Cloud subscription and updated and download from the installer. The installer says it is up to date but when I open the app it is still 5.7

It will be necessary for you to sign out of the creative cloud application manager and then sign back in again. A little clunky, but that's what I had to do.

  • Unable to update to the latest version

    I got this message.
"windows cannot open this program because it has been prevented by a software restriction policy. for more information, open event viewer or contact your system administrator"
I have win XP without any private network, I have never had any problem with updating skype so far. I have not installed anything on this PC for years.
I have checked the Internet about what is software restriction policy, I do not understand a word what they are saying.
Do you know a simple way to fix this problem?
    Thank you.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Using Windows Registry Editor (regedit) open this key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Skype\Phone
Can you see items in the right hand panel?
If the Policy settings are applied only to the current user, then a similar item can be set in this registry key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Skype\Phone

  • HT5557 I just updated to the latest version of itunes, and now I am unable to transfer a newly purchased ibook to my ipod nano

Hi there.  I recently updated to the latest version of itunes, and am unable to get newly-purchased ibooks onto my ipod - I don't see any way to click and drag the ibook.  Am I missing something?

    Many thanks b Noir
This is a copy of ONEof the keys  in the registry I changed  as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR  software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others  they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so  I downloaded the software and installed again.
Sorry, just this minute went to insert image  and it is giving me a message saying this sort of content  is not allowed?.
The most recent key I altered is in: HKey _local _machine. System\class - 4D36E965-E325-11CEBFC1-08002BE10318. Upper Filter data: Upper filter NTIDrvr  SiRem GEARAspiWDN.

I recently updated to the latest version of iTunes.  Since updating, iTunes does not recognize any of my devices (iPod or iPhone).
When I plug in my iPhone it doesn't even recognize that it is plugged into the computer (although the cord works and the USB port is good).
When I plug in my iPod (on the same cord) an error message pops up in iTunes and immediately kicks/ejects. "An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly..."
    Please help!

     Hi,
One of my ex-colleagues has installed a NI-DAQ 6.5 in our system. [And I do not see any other naitional instruments card in the CPU of the computer, may be he removed it] I deleted the account and all his files in the system. When I am trying to install version8.0, its not getting installed and giving me a message that I should uninstall the previous version by going to Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
I tried doing that, but the "Change/Remove" button does not seem to work...[There is no response and so unable to install the new version...]
Any idea how can this problem be solved?
It is a windowsXP operating system with SP2 installed on a machine with P4 processor.
    Thanks

  • After updating to the latest version of Firefox on my Mac there is no progress bar for the page load. I really miss this feature and can't seem to find a way to obtain it.

The page load progress bar that was on the lower right of the window is no longer there. After updating to the latest version of Firefox on my Mac there is no progress bar for the page load. I really miss this feature and can't seem to find a way to obtain it. The tab has a circular progress wheel but this is useless for determining a stuck or slow loading page.
PLEASE NOTE: I am typing this in from a Windows based work computer but am asking about my Apple MacBook Pro that i use at home.

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.<br />
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.<br />
    Another possibility is to use:
    * [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Menu_differences Firefox (Tools) > Options] > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Upgrading from iPhoto 8 to iPhoto 9 requires a purchase. There are two ways to get to iPhoto 9:
    1 - purchase a copy of the iLife 11 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com or eBay.com.
2 - if your MBP meets the requirements upgrade you system for free to Mavericks.  Then you can purchase the latest iPhoto version, 9.5.1, from the App Store.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
